  1. I'm moving to Israel soon and I was wondering if anyone knows whether Hak5 sells a version of the Pineapple Enterprise that supports a 220V power input. The specifications on the one I have here in the US say that it only supports a 110V input, so other than buying an Israeli step-down transformer and shipping it to clients alongside the pineapple [which will be a big hassle] I don't see any other solution, unless of course Hak5 sells 220V versions. Does anyone have any idea if they do? Or any suggestions for me in case they don't? Thanks.
  2. Hello, I am using a pineapple MKVII without an internet connection. So I don't have the right date. I would like to use the date from my USB GPS (GPSD) to retrieve the time. I know that you have to use ntp, it is installed, but I don't know what to add or how to do because for me the only possible modifications are in /etc/config/system. Can you help me ?
  3. i have a Wi-Fi pineapple Nano software version 2.7.0 but modules will not install please help

  5. Hello, I have encountered an issue while attempting to use an MK7 device powered by a battery (in this case, through a power bank). The battery connection occupies one of the USB-C slots, and I'm trying to connect a TP-Link USB Ethernet adapter (UE200) to the USB-A port. When I run the `lsusb` command, it shows that the device is connected and detected. However, I'm unable to see any interface when I use the `ip link show` or `ifconfig` command. I have installed the necessary drivers from packages, but it didn't seem to resolve the issue. I was wondering if anyone has encountered similar problems while running somewhat similar scenarios? Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  8. Hello there! I recently purchased my WiFi Pineapple after purchasing the Bash Bunny and the Rubber Ducky because the tools were excellent and well maintained. I thought it would be this great seamless experience with the pineapple as the other Hak5 devices but I was wrong. To begin with, the device and it's software is filled with bugs and the latest release was about 7 months ago! Of course the bugs may not break the device completely but it adds to a bad user experience where you realize you can't use a sdcard to install modules because of a kernel bug. Numerous bugs I have encountered are random shutdowns, recon stuck at 100%, pineap not starting or stopping and this is also present in many modules. This makes the device in a way useless because when you want to try to use because the bugs are always ruining the attack. Most of the bugs I have encountered are on the bugs tracker list and an ETA from Hak5 when the next firmware release would be highly appreciated! The problems may be hardware based but because the are already on the bug tracker list, I doubt it.

Hi, Would anyone at HAK5 consider working with a UK retailer?

  16. Hi i am trying to run modules in the pineapple nano but when i click start the modules in couple of secounds it is getting stop, i try to install internal storage and sd card as well but getting same error
  17. Do you pls know whats firmware like OpenWRT or another like this I could use? Thank you,
  18. Hi guys, Anyone know how I can get shell access in using any modern browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox, etc. so that the browser doesn't bitch at me and say I need to upgrade to latest browser version) by browsing to a URL? I tried putting a malicious iframe on my evil portal and using these exploits: auxiliary/server/browser_autopwn, auxiliary/server/browser_autopwn2. I even tried downgrading to IE 8 then using the exploit: exploit/windows/browser/ms10_002_aurora. But so far I got nothing. :( No meterpreter sessions. This is for a presentation, by the way. Any of you guys suggest a different way? I am desperate. Wait not really. Just really frustrated. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance!
  19. Hi, I have a project which needs internet-access and the only avaible connection with enough bandwidth is a open hotspot that is within range. The problem is: it disconnects after 200MB/day for each MAC-adress and you have to press a button on their captive-portal before you can connect to anything else. Did anyone got a solution for this already? Some Auto-MAC-changer + autoclicker/-postscript? Connections would come over either Ethernet or Wifi. Additional Wifi-adapters are avaible, too if needed.
  20. Does anyone know if there is anything simple inside that I could use to tell if WiFi is on or off? I'm looking at situation where I absolutely, positively cannot do any emissions. Was thinking perhaps hooking a small LED indicator. The display LEDs seem to have a mind of their own..
  21. HI all. My first post here. I bought a Wifi Pineapple Nano (tactical edition) yesterday. I have not received it yet, but I've got a question about wifi. Since I did not buy the "Elite" edition, since it has been withdrawn from the site, there is no Ralink wifi usb module with the device. This means you have to tether the Pineapple to my phone via Usb or Wifi. But wouldnt it be perfectly possible for the pineapple to connect to a mobile broadband hotspot instead of using my cellular data on my phone? Its a TP-link Mifi device and since I have a simcard with a dataplan of 100Gb pr. month, it would be a perfect match. But is it possible? Thanks in advance - CC
  22. Hello everyone, I am a little bit new to the WiFi Pineapple Tetra device and specially to the Hak5 Community :D but I am pretty interested in it and I want to get one. However I have some problems. First of all I live in Lebanon hakshop doesn't ship this to my country, second of all hakshop only supports PayPal which also isn't supported in Lebanon. So in this case I started thinking of borderlinx (www.borderlinx.com) and this company provides the user a US address that I can ship the products to and later on ship to Lebanon and they also have a concierge service that can buy the product using PayPal. This sounds like good and bad because well first of all this would definitely increase the overall price that I am going to pay, first to pay the shipment price for borderlinx to US address then the shipment price to Lebanon along with the custom fees and taxes and also pay the concierge fee (5% of the product price), well I don't care I'll pay whatever amount but I also checked on the hakshop website on the terms/policies page that they prohibit freight forwarding services? Does that mean that I can't user borderlinx? And in that case how in the world would I get my hands on this amazing product? On the other hand, I wanna ask about the compatible and supported mobile hotspots. My Telco provider has the "Huawei 4G E5786Bs" Mobile Hotspot, but does it support USB Tethering? Is it compatible with Pineapple Tetra which essentially is based on OpenWRT which is Linux? Also I really didn't find much documentation and videos online. Any help would be much appreciated.
  23. Hello together, i found a way to mount at the newest Firmware a USB-Stick from the Wifi-pineapple Nano I have a SanDisk USB-Stick with 32GB of Memory at the first time i plug the stick in it dosent work but if i do in the coomand line via SSH type his "fdisk -l" i saw the usb stick but i wasnt able to mount it so i was loocking for "dsmesg" an saw at the end was written " 2366.110000] sd 7:0:0:0: [sdb] Write cache: disabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA " i dont really know what that means but i was then loocking in google for "opkg usb driver" and then i found this https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/usb.essentials so i was just do all stuff just updating it with ignoring errors and after that i was chaneging the fstab file to: config 'global' option anon_swap '0' option anon_mount '0' option auto_swap '1' option auto_mount '1' option delay_root '5' option check_fs '0' config 'mount' option target '/sd' option device '/dev/sdb/' option fstype 'auto' option options 'rw,sync' option enabled '1' and you have to format to ext4 your stick via ssh or on your Webinterface. after that you just need to refresh the page and i saw then a drive "/dev/sdb" and there it is !!! MY USB Stick ! i hope i was helping there some guys. And a really sorry for my bad english :( Greets from Germany Nico!
  24. hello everyone, i just got my wifi pineapple a few weeks ago. i have been trying to troubleshoot it myself but i just cant seem to figure out what is going on with my nano. i set it up correctly and followed the directions like i was supposed to. then when i go to run the guided setup everything goes smooth until it tells me to connect my pineapple to my computer. i connect it but it doesnt seem to recognize it. now i connected it to my laptop and can go to the website with it and its fine but in order for me to connect it to the internet my computer for some reason will not recognize it . if anyone can help me that would be very much appreciated. thank you!
  25. I have a question about using the sidejacking tools built into kali linux like hamster and ferret in conjunction with the wifi pineapple. This came about because i was using the pineapple module "Dwall" and seeing the cookies pass by. So if i fire up ferret and hamster on my kali machine to pick up the cookies that dwall picks up what is the best interface to use to achieve this? Do i use eth1 with i am using to connect my pineapple to my computer or maybe wlan0 which is my interface connected to the internet? I also have an eth0 interface because i have also have another ethernet cable from pineapple to computer (not really needed just didn't want to lose the cable lol) As you can see i have a few interfaces and i was wondering which one i should use. Hope someone can clear this up for me, thanks
