  1. Found it. It's in the dhcp conf file. config 'dhcp' 'lan' option 'interface' 'lan' option 'start' '100' option 'limit' '150' option 'leasetime' '12h' option 'ignore' '0' list 'dhcp_option' '3,172.16.42.42' list 'dhcp_option' '3,172.16.42.1' list 'dhcp_option' '6,172.16.42.1,8.8.8.8' list 'dhcp_option' '6,172.16.42.1,208.67.222.222' 208.67.222.222 is getting pushed to the client. removed the last line, and the google dns address, so now it's not pushing alternate dns, but spoofhost still isn't redirecting.
  2. Okay, this is weird. DHCP from the pineapple is pushing a second real dns server address.
  3. Might have just been a fluke with the supplied sd card. I didn't try the one that came with mine either. I used the 16G one that I had in the old pineapple. Pretty sure the pineapple supports fat(16), fat32 and ext4.
  4. Anybody else having this problem? I've got the following in my spoofhost config, 172.16.42.1 64.64.4.109 But browsing on my phone connected to "bob'sfreewifi" just browses as normal, no getting redirected to kittenwar.
  5. Oh, wait!!! I forgot, this card was in my other pineapple before, the format may not have repartitioned.... No, just looked at the format_sd command, it makes them both. mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda1 mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda2
  6. I ordered just as soon as Daren put in his password. Got the shipping email the 16th, got my pineapple today.
  7. Looks like it makes a swap partition as well. /dev/sda1 126 1936 14546857+ 83 Linux /dev/sda2 1 125 1004031 83 Linux
  8. I have the original wi-spy and today I was using the ubertooth and spectools-gtk to watch a network trying to figure out why it was dropping clients. Both work pretty well, though the wi-spy devices cost more than when I got mine.
  9. I still haven't gotten an email.. Sarah!!!! :P
  10. I keep a copy on the usb stick in my pineapple. Might not always be the latest version, but it works.
  11. Most likely not. Standard poe switches push power over data lines, they also have circuitry designed to sense poe devices and not spit out power unless there's a poe device attached. Unless the poe circuit was designed into the pineapple, you can't add it in later.
  12. I make my own, not as ugly as this, but it's the same idea. http://tech2.in.com/how-to/wifi-routers/how-to-make-a-power-over-ethernet-poe-adapter/223062
  13. Metasploit from embedded devices isn't as cool as it sounds. Even the big batteries Darren mentioned won't let it run long enough. Slow slow slow!
  14. Pretty sure Seb has said he's still working on the mk4 firmware as well.
  15. Pretty sure the radios in soho access points aren't sensitive enough to pin them down with enough accuracy. You'd still end up having to walk around with a directional on a laptop or handheld device.
  16. I rolled back to the latest 2.X firmware to use this infusion.
  17. Probably the same way as the MK4. It will require sacrificing something larger than a chicken though. A largish goat should work, if not find a full grown sheep. If you don't want to go that route, you could create a linux vm and use that, it will be much easier, and way less headaches to set up.
  18. Wow that sounds like a pain in the ass!
  19. Not trying to take money away from the hackshop, but I've been really impressed with maxpedition and 5.11 bags. If you saw me at Derby this year, I had a 5.11 on my back, if you ever saw me at Defcon, or shmoocon I had a maxpedition bag.
  20. Well, I hope all the poo-pooh's at Derbycon are happy you guys "didn't bring any"!!!
  21. I've got the original free one. It's okay for web surfing, or using web based apps, but that's about it. If you don't have an internet account you can still edit documents you've downloaded to it's drive, with google apps.
