  1. My wife's accounting business uses Backblaze.
  2. Dude, look at the specs when you post shit. That first switch is rated for 600mhz, won't work for wifi. The second switch is made for building into new products and switches between an internal antenna, and an external antenna. It disconnects the internal when you plug in the external, that's all it switches.
  3. It's a permissions problem. Something to do with the user and the administrator trying to own the my documents folder at the same time. We stopped doing folder redirection as well and just create a mount point for them. Takes a couple days for them to learn to save to the mounted drive and not the documents folder.
  4. Just a heads up, the touch screen will probably not work anymore. I have the 12 and it worked for a while, but some update killed it. Then another update fixed it, then it died again later...
  5. I've got a hospital client that uses it. They run all their electronic medical record nurse's stations off a vmware thin client system. All the clients are hp thin client machines that look like all in one computers, but they don't have much of the computer part. It's a pretty slick system. All of it is run from I think 4 cisco vm servers with several hundred terabytes of san for the data.
  6. It's also stupidly expensive.
  7. Pretty sure that won't work. The VM's need to live on the machine that has the physical hardware.
  8. I'm going to call BS on this one. As long as you're not transmitting, you're not going to be detectable. These shitty little sdr devices don't have enough antenna to effect the signals enough to do anything. If they did, then everybody would have to transmit at a much higher wattage just to get over all the antennas "absorbing" the signals. There's a shit ton of things that absorb the frequencies even in nature. The reason the radar detector detectors work is because radar detectors aren't passive.
  9. Well if you didn't use that shitty ass gentoo, it'd probably work better.
  10. If I can't get rid of the problem in a couple hours with the regular tools, it's a wipe and reinstall. Usually go with this order, 1. tdsskiller 2. malwarebytes <-- Might run this one a couple times. 3. combofix 4. reinstall windows
  11. I think you can cache openstreetmap maps as long as you tag the image with their logo.
  12. The power supply I use for mine is 12v at 1amp. Off an old Linksys access point. No clue where the one that came with the pineapple went. It's here, somewhere, in a box.
  13. Might not have the proper kernel module for it. http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/USB_Garmin_on_GNU/Linux
  14. Nope, now you get all their "My fax isn't working" calls!
  15. Yea, I don't think so. RDP is already iffy on the internet, and now you want to install some patch a dude on the internet has made for it?
  16. It will kick them off the computer. 7 can only have a single user running at a time.
  17. I think I read on hackaday that someone has done this. Yep, here it is. http://wecan.hasthe.technology/
