Never done the oven thing, heard of others doing the oven on low heat for an hour or 2 then turn off oven and let sit for 24 hours, I use the dishwasher no soap on my keyboard. Stop the dishwasher before the dry cycle. then let it dry for 24+ hours. A friend of mine was installing ram into old PC and his 2 year old son grabbed a 64 once orange soda and you guessed it into the case went 62 ounces and power was on. fortenatuly my friend had a power strip on the desk and just killed the who thing and quickly pulled the plug. I took the wole thing apart and ran it through the dishwasher except the HD and 48 hours later I fired it up and it ran fine. and don't forget to take the bios battery out.

VPN is Virtual Private Network. connects to a network so you can access shared resources IE drives and printers. SSH connects to a specific computer with a terminal. just to educate. I have use both regularly.

this just sounds a bit of a waste of BW. your at hotspot A connect to your home network B with VPN so you can go to website C. I think its going to be a bit laggy. :( if your worried about getting sniffed at your local Starbucks run your own cain and able and see who your neighbors are. Might be a good way to get around a schools/works firewall, and can you port forward to the laptop over VPN? You're only paranoid if you think they're after you. I know they're out to get me. ;)

Remove the filter from the modem. the filter blocks the DSL signal so that your phone dosnt have noise from DSL when you talk to ppl. the filter is filtering out the DSL signal. :)

We never claimed to be Canadian. It's just that we hang out with lots of Canadian podcasters (commandN, LabRats, OpenAlpha, PurePwnage, techPhile) and did guest appearances on Call for Help with Leo up there. After a while it became a joke around the house so eventually on a trip I picked up a Canadian flag patch for one of the servers just to mess with people. It's visible as an easter egg in 1x09 I think(?). The one where Evil Server interrupts the signal and Wess and I plot to take him out with bruce force. Anyway, for the record we're in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA. Or as I recently claimed "Down with the 23188"... Or 757. Whichever floats your boat. I knew that in one of season 1 eps you flashed a GPS lat/long and I dropped it into google earth lol :P
