  1. either get the cabinet module or ssh in and use vi or nano but the text file is under /etc/pineapple/ssid_file

    Laptop Backpack

this is a good bag i also like 5.11 tactical bags which are also pricey but very well built.
  3. What OS are you trying to dual boot?
  4. that is what i do a lot of times so i can access it from any pc in the house, but with above post i made with the zip file it gives you the required drivers and terminal commands to setup ICS on the mac with little hassle. But like others have said, mac is tricky and likes to change things up so come sept when they roll out the new 10.12.1 all that could stop working and we would have to find a new method. im not even sure that rEFInd will be fully functional when the new OS drops, so dual booting could get tricky for a bit.
  5. you might have to format the sd card in the webui for the pineapple to read it fully
  6. use a live usb and double check before installing if your worried about it working or not
  7. did you try to wget the wp6.sh and run it to see if it works. im pretty sure it would being as its a debian based linux distro, you should have no problem with that.
  8. So what does this do for the NANO. As im taking it, its for a usb to ethernet adapter since the NANO itself isn't usb3 which is what the module is for so.... I guess im just a little lost (whats new). anyways i plugged in a usb3 to ethernet adapter which also has 3 usb ports on it and got an ip from it but cant connect to the webui. its plugged into a battery because i wanted to see if that would work but no go so far. when i look under usb in advanced tab it show something is connected but there is no name for it.
  9. Hydraulic press. pull the magnets and flatten to destruction. also like sud0nick said, punch some holes in the platters themselves and maybe throw in a fire for extra precaution.
  10. yea most tutorials say to install linux first and then boot to mac and install rEFInd.
  11. Seb is working out some kinks, wouldnt want a buggy firmware or one that misses some new features.
  12. I just talked to foxtrot yesterday and he siad that Seb is still working some kinks out, but should be out soon.
  13. ssh root@172.16.42.1 and enter the password you set for the pineapple when you set it up also, if you wget http://wifipineapple.com/wp6.sh it might be a newer version which has those options, i think, i havent downloaded it lately so it could have been updated again idk
  14. what did you choose on the wp6 script to setup, guided or manual?
  15. if you run a recon you can filter what clients you want to connect when using PineAP and there is a module for the signal strength if that helps.
  16. Your Routing table looks correct but for network that should be the gateway for the network you are connected to not the pineapple itself. so for mine it was internet: eth0=192.168.0.100 (my pc) Pineapple: eth1=172.16.42.42 (pineapple) Network: 192.168.0.1 (my network gateway or router)
  17. thats weird so your laptop will run off your cell network via usb tether but not the pineapple? that sounds a little weird because if it works for the laptop it should work for the pineapple. Tethering is a setting in the build.prop file on the root file system so it shouldnt matter what device you try to connect. can you wifi tether?
  18. you can make a wifi router with it or connect to wireless connection for internet and the that quote is funky. the antenna for signal, so you have to have it so you can get the signal. if you change the antenna it will change the signal strength of the usb wifi card. A 9dbi antenna will detect more wifi signals or make one that is close stronger with better speeds if you havent hit the max speed for the card which would be around 30mbps. if your injecting it will give you longer range to reach a target that is further way. if i have worded that wrong or siad something wrong, somebody that knows more can correct me as im also still learning some of this stuff.
  19. Its for a raspberry pi or another micro computer that runs linux. If your not sure put raspbian on a raspberry pi and test it on a Virtual machine to see what all the commands do. Or you can youtube it and see what other people have done with it.
  20. have you tryed to use the wifi pineapple app from the app store instead of Nethunters?
  21. That is not an easy thing to do as apple pc's don't like kali (ubuntu and mint worked fine) and you will have to install rEFInd to get it to boot properly.
  22. it took me a while to get the usb to boot successfully and get through the install. The macbook does not like to boot that for some reason but never once had a problem with ubuntu or mint. i think i tryed to boot and install, shut down try the other usb port, probably like 50 times before it actually got through the install. After it was installed there were many options on how to install rEFInd but I just held down the option key and booted to mac to install it. Its a little tricky but once its done it works great. I dont know how well it will work with the new file system that apple is implementing in the next macOS update to 10.12 this sept. They like to make things difficult. Also you could try to install the drivers for the Alfa to run in mac and check to see if Homebrew or Macports has any of the programs that you want to use. I had to disable SIP to get the drivers for the Alfa to work and it was a pain in the ass.
  23. if you are going to run Kali on your macbook you need to install it first and then disable SIP through recovery partition and then download and install rEFInd through the command terminal. That is what I do and the only problem I have is that you cant put the macbook wifi into monitor mode, so you need to use a USB wifi card for things of that nature.
