  1. You cant run bettercap from the nano or the tetra. To many dependancies or not compatible with openwrt. xerosploit which is also a tool with some nice features does not work on the nano or tetra.
  2. you either connect to the Pineapples Managment wifi or connect to the hotspot from your phone with the nano. You would have to connect to the SSID your phone broadcast while connected to the webui under networking and then you would be set. Pre setup.
  3. The cable that the nano comes with is for power only. So unless you wanna plug a battery inline with the nano you need it and depending on the size battery (5v1a, 5v2a, etc) you might need two batteries to get the most of the nano. Use the Management AP to control it or use a third radio on the nano (usb wifi which would be wlan2) and create a hotspot with your phone and have the nano connect to your phone. Or just use a usb-microusb from the femaile usb end of the nano
  4. guess I should have just done a google search.
  5. This might be a weird question, but I just recently moved into a new apartment on the bottom floor and the problem I am having is that to make a phone call I have to stand next to a window otherwise signal will drop and calls are gone. My cell network is through Straight talk and im just wondering if anybody knows of any devices that will extend the gsm signal into the apt so im not missing calls or dropping calls.
  6. what firmware are you using?
  7. This post belongs in the Nano threads, but the user is root and the ip is 172.16.42.1 ssh root@172.16.42.1 enter your password and thats it.
  8. connect to the managment AP with your phone or tablet and connect to the webui and run it from there.
  9. you need to go into the network settings and set the primary interface for internet as primary. Also I dont know how you have it connected (USB) but make sure that the tetra is connected to the VM through the usb devices and is selected.
  10. the snubby usb wifi in the hak shop does and it works great https://hakshop.myshopify.com/collections/wireless-gear/products/ralink-usb-wifi-rt5370
  11. how are you connecting to the Pineapple?
  12. Agreed and I have it set up on a PiZero and it works great with Raspbian lite. The only problem I see with the Nano, is that 1.) it operates with OpenWRT and 2.) the amount of time it takes for the Nano to startup and get going might not be suitable for this type of attack 3.) the antenna, It is, for being small, maybe to big of a device to carry around and pull this off as it is noticeable when plugged in.
  13. Depending on how you connect to the Pineapple, you can use the AP above the management AP and deselect the box saying hide ssid or whatever it says and that is the AP that targeted clients connect to and if you have it broadcast the SSID, clients will be able to connect to it without a password. That is in the Networking Tab.
  14. I haven't tried it on anything but a raspberry pi zero, but I thought about the using the Nano to do it but have not got around to making it happen. The Nano would be best, just plug it in and let it run.
  15. Short answer is that the devices connected to the Tetra will have the IP address set by the Tetra and the other devices on your home network will not be able to communicate with them and the clients on the Tetra will not be able to communicate with your home devices through the LAN itself. Router > Tetra > clients 172.16.42.xxx Router > switch > clients 10.0.0.xxx you can communicate with the clients connected to the Tetra but those clients cant see your home clients on the switch
  16. Don't put the wifi board and the usb on they don't work well together.
  17. Try DNSspoof or DNSmasq and see if redirecting that way helps any.

    Noob Setup

I have been planning on going to Defcon 25 ( which will be my first ) for 2 years now. Lack of time and money have been stopping me from going sooner. Also this is what I through together with help from other members on this forum and this is not the only way to setup the PIneapple on OSX. So in all we should be thanking everybody that has helped to get the Pineapple working with mac, I just through one way together for a simple how-to.
  19. pipe, I will be doing that with the new one I get tomorrow along with a couple other things. I would like to have the wifi and the usb dongle soldered on but Im still unsure how the gpio pins work complete. id like to solder the wifi dongle to the gpio pins and the dongle to the usb and 5v gpio but i dont know how the pi would see the wifi or what pin numbers to use for the data side of the wifi dongle.
  20. that is why im getting a couple to play around with
  21. That has been my plan also but never really got around to it yet. That is what I did before I soldered it on and decided that, that is what i wanted to do with it. Also its been 12 years since I soldered and it doesn't look the prettiest, but it did the job and its functional which was also my biggest worry. This is what I saw and I wanted to do that so I did. It was originally for the Mubix Stealling locked creds purpose, which makes it more portable. I decided that it was kind of a waste for it to only do that so...
  22. check out these post. There are a couple different ways to set up the Pineapple with mac and ICS, I have detailed instructions in a zip file to follow that makes it really easy. Also the process I have posted is comfirmed to work with macOS serria
  23. Basically I just wanted to be able to plug it in without a cord so I soldered the usb port on for simple plug and play, which is the same if I were to just use a micro usb cord. I have a couple more raspberry pi zero's coming in the mail so I figured why not. It makes it easier and I can still use the pi with the power micro usb and plug a usb hub into the data micro usb port and use it like that. 2 wires for the data and 2 wires for power through the GPIO pins. If you haven't seen this done I can take pictures for you. I haven't soldered in years and was a little afraid of messing it up but then I said hell with it and just did it. http://imgur.com/a/S3eOL Pictures with the USB port soldered on
