  1. Seb let us know which drivers or devices are add to the firmware, i'm looking for a 5ghz dongle or alfa, but want to get one that will work with the pineapple also.
  2. 1.1.0 isnt out yet but disable your managment AP and only have the Open Ap on, Do you recon scan first then setup PineAP in another tab, that way you can keep the recon results up and death while setting up PineAp. wlan2 could technical run the death module and not have to worry the recon page.
  3. Ive attach 9dbi to my Nano and it gets great reception. Almost a block and half radius. wlan2 Alfa awus036neh with 9dbi antenna also. Its a power house.
  4. that should help, watch the wifi pineapple academy videos and they will help out a lot and with some common knowledge the Mark5 mondule vidoes should be similiar to some of the Mark6 modules.

    Red Tint Screen

Thank you sir. im going to give it a try also. 40in of screen gets really bright lol. EDIT: So I installed and wow what a difference even during the day with this much screen that helps out big time!
  6. I noticed Seb had a red tint on his screen on the Lets Code video. I am interested in this because i'm on my pc at night most of the time and the super bright whites mess with my eyes a lot. Ive install flux and am going to give it a try. Im wondering if anybody else has any suggestion for program that might work better than flux, if any? My OS is Linux Mint 17.3

  8. I have tried with my USB to Ethernet adapter for my NANO and could not get a connection. Its USB3 so I don't know if that would make a difference or if you have to set something to get it to work. Or if thats not even supported with the NANO. If anybody knows or has got one to work let me know.
  9. you are definitely in a group that will help to the best of our abilities
  10. I ended up rooting and multirom on my Nexus 6p I do a lot with my phone from Bluetooth headphones to Bluetooth car radio (all day) and such and every rom i've flashed has bad Bluetooth, it looses signal then reconnects its wierd. So what I did with the multirom is just kept my stock Android and multiboot a secondary rom for wifi tether until I find something that will let me do it on stock android (which is rooted). But I haven't looked at all for something like that as I haven't had the time lately. But it works great. I actually tested it on my sister, she wanted to see what the Nano could do and how secure she was. lol in under 15 min she was connected and I was sitting across the room with a giant smile on my face as I Random Rolled her for a while. She said " i'm to secure for that", I showed her wrong.
  11. ive never had a problem with that, after changing the host name.
  12. I have found when running recon it will sit at 100% for a little and then finally show results.
  13. you can use fingerprint on secondary roms with multirom, I ended up messing with multirom for a bit just flashed CM13 for my primary rom and its great, everything works but I havent tryed google pay. Also the systemless root on the nexus 6p is awesome, I was hesitating for a long time about it but very happy I did. I had an att moto x 2013 that it worked fine on but I had root for tethering, I never tryed it non-rooted. My stock Nexus6p wouldnt usb or wifi tether with stock rom due to TOS conditions of Att or in my case Straight talk. After root everything worked just fine. Marshmallows everywhere
  14. Ive noticed when installing modules through the Module manager it will ask if you want to install to Internal or SD card and the same when installing Dependency. On the Module manager SD Card option is on the left and for Dependency install the SD card option is on the right. This may not bother some but i'm a hair OCD and think that it should be uniform. The SD card option either on the right for both or the left for both. Also im extremely spacey late at night and by repetition I hit the wrong button a lot. If there is already a topic for user suggestions im sorry I did not see it.
  15. https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/raspberry-pi-3-on-sale/ built in Wifi and faster CPU 1.2Ghz. Also they say the usb power was increased for more powerful usb devices. I dont know about anybody else but even with the 5V 2.5a wall charger, I have to plug in another battery to the pineapple to get it to work on my Pi2.
  16. No, Darren or Seb said that it cannot be turned off because it is part of Pine AP and would cause problems
  17. defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles Yes defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles No use the first command in the terminal and then reset Finder by going to Force Quit under the apple logo (top right) then go to your home folder and click .ssh folder and you can edit the ssh host that have connected or delete them. when your done type the second command to hide your files again and reset Finder one more time and boom your set
  18. I have been using 9dbi antenna with my nano and in certian parts of my house i get maybe 3 ssid on a 5min recon. If I move the nano close to a window or even my router it works much better. I have also used the 9dbi antenna in an outdoor environment and got really good signal from about half a block away using Occupineapple. I did the same thing telot did with the wedding hack. I want to add the 5dbi amplifiers but cant pull the trigger on those yet.
  19. If you have Parallels you can install a KDE version of linux and run everything in Coherence mode making it blend in better to the actual mac desktop. I have been doing this for a while because I can only get the NANO to connect after I have turned my firewall off.
  20. Why is Kali and Ubuntu mate on my raspberry pi 2 calling my ethernet interfaces enx123456789123 (123456789123=HWaddr or mac address) and wlan0 is the same way wlxmacaddr. Im puzzled as to why it does this?
  21. I personally dont know how I havent played with metasploit to much yet but be patient im sure somebody will answer soon enough. Google all sorts of different things for your situation, you might find something that will help you figure it out.
  22. One thing I have noticed with the Raspberry pi 2 is that the Nano will not make a full connection when plugged into the PI. Ive tryed plugging in one usb then both usb and nothing just blue light blinking forever. When I plugged the Nano into the PI and the other end of the Y-usb to an external battery, It worked just fine no problems. The Raspberry Pi Zero on the other hand worked just fine with one usb plugged into a 4 port usb hub. I dont know what the difference is, but that might be your problem. The Pi 2 just isnt putting out enough power at the usb ports (even with 2) to make it start up properly. <--- Thats my thoughts on it, I could be wrong, idk what kind of power the Pi2 usb puts out compared to what the nano needs to run. But i do know that the Nano works just fine with 9dbi antenna and a usb wifi dongle running on a 5v 1a 3000mah battery.
