  1. You need 2. One for 5GHz and one for the 4.2 GHZ band. Someone said use the RIGHT side (with lights facing you) for lan1, I found that to be not correct. I got better signal with both antenna on the LEFT side.
  2. Just bought 2 Alfa 9dBi WiFi Booster SMA OMNI-Directional High-Gain from amazon and should get them tomorrow. I was a little confused on what 2 I need to replace for wlan1 (The attacking and monitor set of antennas). I will let you know how well they work.
  3. I would need 4 for the Tetra correct? Could you provide some links to where I can get them (like Amazon). 9-10dbi sounds perfect... go big or go home...
  4. Lets start by saying, I know almost nothing about antennas. What antenna do you use? What is the dBi on the stock antenna (I did not see it on the product page). I prefer omni, but I was told if you want distance, you need a directional antenna. I'm open to suggestions..
  5. I got the RALINK USB WIFI RT5370 from the hak5 shop, and when the tetra is in the tactical bag, wlan2 keeps failing. IE: after just a few min I loose wlan2 client connection and I'm literally just a few feet away. I often have to unplug the USB and plug it back in to fix the issue (it fails again within a few min). It also won't notice the USB Wifi after the tetra restarts, once again, I just unplug the USB and plug it back in. Does this happen to anyone else? Is it a heating issue? Should I get a different USB Wifi? Thanks!
  6. I went with 2 of the http://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Portable-Recharges-Panasonic/dp/B013HSWY5K It's been working great.
  7. It looks like there is a package already for aircrack-ng called "besside-ng" but it's not in the list of installable packages... I'm going to looking compiling my own and moving onto the device... not sure what this will take yet... but it sounds like a good feature I want...
  8. Thank you, I did not see this video... if it's on the Tetra, I should be able to locate the module and just read the code... I'm not trying to steal anything, just trying to get ideas on how to code this up. I had a few ideas: 1: Auto handshake find all AP in range, deauth them and the clients that it can find, get handshake or give up after X min (clean it and change to hashcat format). Then move to the next one and try again. 2: Wash / Reaver auto crack. Will try bully on all AP in range, and if it gets a WPS lock, move on to the next one... Once all completed in range, start over again a
  9. Hello, I'm a PHP developer, but I'm very new to BASH scripting and making a backend script work with a webpage. Where can I find docs or a tutorial on how to make a module for the TETRA? How can I view the code of modules that have been already created? like the recon module? Can modules hook-into the stock options? (Example: on recon page, there is a drop-down arrow that allows users to add SSID to a pool, could a module "hook" into that and add another option?)
  10. That is expensive, and I would need 2 of them? I know it needs 18 W, but I'm not sure on how to check if 1 of them can produce that amount.....
  11. I was able to use opkg to install reaver and bully, but was does not seem to work. When I run it, i get the following: it returns VERY fast... does not display any results. root@Pineapple:~# wash -i wlan1mon Wash v1.5.2 WiFi Protected Setup Scan Tool Copyright (c) 2011, Tactical Network Solutions, Craig Heffner <cheffner@tacnetsol.com> mod by t6_x <t6_x@hotmail.com> & DataHead & Soxrok2212 & Wiire & kib0rg BSSID Channel RSSI WPS Version WPS Locked ESSID --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  12. Hey! as some of you know, the TETRA no longer comes with batteries. I'm trying to find a set on Amazon that I could use to power this bad boy... Just wanted to hear some options and see what others thought would be a good option. I found this one below, was thinking of getting 2 of them (note there are 2 options, I was looking at 2x 15,000 unit) http://www.amazon.com/KMASHI-10000mAh-External-Battery-Portable/dp/B00JM59JPG?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A1ZG30H7CWDVPC
  13. How do I go about installing reaver and wash on the TETRA? Thanks!
