  1. Hi qdba, Thanks for letting us know! The fix for this is actually a lot more simple and can be made inside bunny_framework (just fork the 'hop' function to the background). This issue has been fixed and we'll roll out 1.2 with it ASAP.
  2. Hi everyone, From v1.1 onwards, you do not need to assign or export any variables. We created a helper function just for that. Simply execute "DUCKY_LANG us" inside your payload. Just make sure to replace "us" with your language of choice. If QUACK does not type, you most likely don't have the language you chose installed. To install new languages, simply place them inside the languages folder on the Bash Bunny's mass storage partition. The current supported languages can be seen here. If you want to add a language, simply copy us.json to uk.json and make the appropriate changes. We welcome all pull requests that add languages and will be including these in firmware upgrades down the line.
  3. Without seeing what python code you are running, we can't really help you :)
  4. This is correct. The workaround right now is switching attackmodes when needed, but we are working on a fix for this for 1.2 :)
  5. Hi Lunch, Now that you are up-and-running again, I suggest you update to firmware 1.1. Once you have done that, serial / ssh in and execute the following command: "reformat_udisk". This will make sure it's properly set up and formatted for all systems.
  6. Hi stacktrac3, If you let me know the Zendesk ticket number, I'll make sure your taken care of asap :)
  7. Here you go: https://storage.googleapis.com/wifipineapple/files/factoryFiles.tar
  8. Yeah, it's possible old payloads do not work in regards to LED codes, and bunny_helpers.sh is now outdated. We will be pushing changes to the github payloads repository today. This is correct -- we do not ship any tools by default (this is up to the user), and we do not support languages other than us right now. Once people create and verify other keyboard layouts, they will be added to the payloads repository, and therefore make it to user's Bash Bunnies. If you are waiting for a language, it's really not too difficult to modify the us.json for your layout. There is no need, as factory resetting your Bash Bunny will ALWAYS revert it back to 1.0_167. DO NOT DO THIS!!! I am actually going to remove your post because we DO NOT want users to modify the recovery partition. If you break it, you brick your Bash Bunny. This is only partially correct. We install .deb files AND move folders / files over to /tools Funny you should say that, I already packaged these for Darren, but he hasn't made the links public yet. Once he pushes his updated payloads, I'm sure he'll make the links available. Simple. Unity probably one of the most wide-spread DEs out there, due to the sheer amount of Ubuntu users. While ubuntu is switching to GNOME, that's not happening until next year. I'm sure we'll have support for other OS / DE combinations by then. I'll be on irc.hak5.org #bashbunny all day today to answer any questions you guys might have.
  9. It'll be available when Darren and I finish our final checks. A forum post will be created letting you know all the details The firmware is "Ready to ship". No new hardware, don't worry.
  10. Can't hurt to have -- added to firmware.
  11. I might still be able to roll this into the next firmware release, I'll see what I can do!
  12. That's because the Bash Bunny is at 172.16.64.1. Changing the IP to the one assigned to your machine will just mean that you are pinging yourself. As to why bb.sh doesn't work, can you post any output that the script may give you?
  13. This already exists for the Pineapples. We'll consider it for the Duck, but the Turtle doesn't have enough payloads to really warrant an entire forum.
  14. Hi everyone, No hak5 products are making connections to china or anywhere else (unless explicitly stated beforehand, such as updates, bulletins, etc). If you see SSH connections, and the device is accessible from the internet, then you are most likely just a victim of brute-force attempts. As others have said, just drop those IP ranges. I have hidden the off-topic posts in this thread, and I expect the conversation will stay on topic from now on.
  15. We are simplifying this process in the next firmware upgrade. Language files will be automatically updated from the mass storage partition, where the payloads live. This will allow people to upload other language files and share them with the rest of the community.
  16. Are you asking how to swap the US keyboard layout for UK in the ducky script?
  17. Cheeto, Contact us at support@hak5.org -- we'll get you sorted.
  18. Hi, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I have relayed your message to our Shop - they will get back to you on the ticket you created asap.
  19. Yup, that's the only way to do it cleanly. It should always be done anyway, as otherwise files may not be written to mass storage correctly.
  20. Not at the moment, but I'll probably throw it up on my github at some point. It's a really simple little program that does two things: Spin up a webserver and serve the portal. Write any of the targeted fields to logfile Spin up a DNS server and always resolve to the Bash Bunny's IP That's it.
  21. Yup, someone's pr broke the captive portal. It was written before bunny helpers, and defaulted to switch1.
  22. We are a bit backlogged right now, my apologies. We'll get to each and every ticket, it just takes a bit more time at the moment. A week is a bit long though, so I apologize for that. I'm sure you'll receive an answer soon.
