Actually, I changed my mind, I won't release an infusion for Bully separately but I'm integrating both reaver and bully in a single infusion, similar to to what I did for the jammer. Stay tune ;)

MOD: I merged the two topics as I will release only one infusion called WPS with reaver and bully.

Quick update: the infusion is ready, working with Bully and Reaver. I'm waiting for Seb to integrate the last Bully binary into the repository to release the infusion.

Awesome!

lion,

1. It depends. People have their preferences but both achieve the same goal.

2. Depends on which one and what you want to do. Be more specific

3. Have you gotten either to work using it's infusion or via command line? If not why would you try to automate it already?

4. Check out youtube and google for research on both. Lots of good info out there on settings and such.

I'd like to confirm some behaviors with WPS... Anybody else seeing that you have to enable the wlanX interface that you are trying to use so that the Refresh APs button will work? Otherwise it won't show anything.... I'm guessing that is on purpose to make sure it is in the "up" state. The problem with that is that both bully and reaver need the wlanX to be in the down state, but in monitor mode, to work. So what I've done is go into the WPS infusion. Pick the wlan interface I want to use and hit Start so that I can get the Refresh APs to work so that I can choose the AP I want to target. When I do this it populates the BSSID and channel info below. Once that is populated I hit the Stop button so that it disables the wlan interface, or at least gives it the down command. Once that is done I hit the Start Monitor mode button so that it creates mon0. After that I choose mon0 in the below section and choose either bully or reaver. Once I've done all this I can hit the Start button.

Thanks Whistle Master! At least I'm not crazy. Familiarity with using them command line really helped me, but I can see how it might be frustrating to someone new who is just trying to use the infusion for the first time...

Using Mark V

Not sure what is going on..

Everything installed from Pineapple Bar

reaver installed
bully installed
I Select wlan0, Click start, then click start Monitor.
I then click start beneath the command tab.

It says wps is running.

I then click refresh and it says
wps is not running...

Any suggestions ?

I'd suggest using wlan1 instead, as wlan0 might not be handled correctly if hostapd is still running.

Best regards,

I have uninstalled and re-installed WPS from Pineapple Bar just to be sure.

@Sebkinne

Thanks for the reply.

Here are the steps to what I do on Pineapple Mark V to try and get Reaver working.

While connected to MarkV via wifi (on wlan0 adapter on MarkV)

I browse to Web server and log in.

Go to WPS - v1.0 "Menu"

Wlan interface - I select wlan1 , then Start, then start Monitor

Monitor interface - mon0

reaver - installed

bully - installed

Select AP

In General tab below, make sure info is populated.

Monitor interface: mon0 (what ever it becomes, same as top interface selection)

Then select [start]

Output -

WPS is running...

Update:

The Output tab seems to work correctly when / if I delete all logs in History tab.

Might be a bug to check into..

Thanks
