  1. Yes that is all it is. There is a standalone PCB in the Ominous Box handling the beeping and LEDs. All it requires is power / ground.
  2. If you take a look at the back of the WiFi Pineapple MKV PCB, you'll see markings under the expansion port (detailing 3.3V and ground). Plug the RED wire into any 3.3V and the BLACK into any ground. Best regards, Sebkinne
  3. Yeah, Darren has this.. However there was a delay because some of the code was lost. Happens to us all! Best regards, Sebkinne
  4. Thanks guys, it worked fine for me using Firefox on my dev machine. I just tried with a different version of Firefox and it indeed broke. A fix has been pushed to the WiFi Pineapple Bar. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  5. You might need to refresh your browsers cache. CSS changes happened in 2.0.4. Code has been put in place to guarantee that this doesn't happen again on other firmware versions. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  6. Thank you everyone, your wishes are much appreciated! :)
  7. Wiki will be back up later tonight. It's fixed and updated to a new LTS branch and is taking longer right now. Best regards, Sebkinne
  8. If your order is flagged, it will get cancelled and refunded (of course!). If it doesn't, it gets shipped. Best regards, Sebkinne
  9. Due to legal and fraud reasons, we usually do not ship to forwarding companies. It is quite possible that someone has ordered from them in the past, but that we cancelled the order because it got flagged. Best regards, Sebkinne
  10. Word not long enough to gather good results. The forum software doesn't tell you this properly though..
  11. Head over to http://hakshop.com/exchange or send us an email to exchange@hak5.org. Best regards, Sebkinne
  12. May I suggest that you add articles to the wiki? It makes sharing and adding of information easier! Best regards, Sebkinne
  13. You are wrong on that, the WiFi Pineapple MKV is manufactured in China. There is quality control in place and we trust our hardware manufacturer. Best regards, Sebkinne
  14. Without any third party infusions, the log time is displaying properly. It must be an infusion overriding css / Javascript calls. To be sure, clear your browsers cache. Best regards, Sebkinne
  15. What issues are you talking about? Best regards, Sebkinne
  16. We have released version 2.0.4, fixing a few issues with reconnaissance mode. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  17. I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, but running Evilportal and Occupineapple together works fine. Evilportal can take input and pass it to a PHP script, so that would be one way to add to occupineapple. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  18. To use any features of PineAP, you must first start that. PineAP is independent of karma running or not. Dogma can also be run without karma being turned on. Beacon responder and Harvester however do require karma to be turned on. Currently, there isn't an easy way to manage PineAP over the command line for the end user. That is going to change in the next feature firmware release. You are mostly correct. PineAP however does not work like an AP. It is a suite of tools. Dogma is responsible for sending out the beacons in your SSID list (targeted or to broadcast). Beacon Response will follow up any probe request with a number of beacons. Harvester collects all SSIDs which can then be used for Dogma. Tools like urlsnarf or ssl_strip should be run on the bridge interface ("br-lan") and not wlan0. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  19. Or the new firmware version - it is super lightweight in regards to recon mode and will be released soon! Best Regards, Sebkinne
  20. It's not a big issue, shipping is still rather fast and the entire thing is paid for.
  21. Please request an exchange, or email shop@hak5.org. You seem to have received a defective device. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  22. Great. It broadcasts a wireless, that's a good sign and means the software is working. Connect to that and go to http://172.16.42.1:1471/. Once you have done that and done the original setup, reboot your WiFi Pineapple MKV. All should work. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  23. Your DIP switches are all in the UP position when you boot up, right? That pattern you see is the "I'm ready to be set up" pattern, so does it broadcast a wireless network? Apart from seeing that LED pattern, you don't get an IP over ethernet?
  24. Hi Wh1p, Please request an exchange, or email shop@hak5.org. You seem to have received a defective device. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  25. Hi Ozsteyr, Please follow the "Unbricking a bricked WiFi Pineapple MKV" instructions on our website. You will not need to put files on your SD card, just follow the instructions there. Best Regards, Sebkinne
