  1. I was just about to come back and post this!
  2. What you're talking about is a client bridge. I google'd around but can't find anything on how to set it up from the command line. If you were running a normal router firmware it would be a few clicks in the gui to set it up.
  3. Usually. I wouldn't say they're hardwired together, but wired into the normal wired network, or the public wired vlan.
  4. Hey, just seen this one! Should be perfect for the power conscious. http://crushbeercrushcode.org/2013/04/raspberry-pi-openvpn-and-android/
  5. pfSense has a really good openvpn plugin now. That's what I use.

  7. The image doesn't seem to want to boot.
  8. Pretty sure they're using some kind of propitiatory vm system. There's no way they could host that many physical machines. This is a WAG though.
  9. You're not really going to see any benefit over just running a single machine. It's probably going to actually slow the system down.
  10. It will probably work. The two extra antennas will be useless though.
  11. Okay, quick question, how do you get the vnc client to actually show anything? I can vnc in, but just get a gray screen and a mouse pointer. Wait!! Reboot fixed it!!
  12. Switch over to Debian. For the most part it's the same as Ubuntu, but without the state sponsored ass hats ruining the repos.
  13. Wooo! Pi shipped! Aaaand, it's here!!! Flashing sd card now.
  14. I'm hoping it's their own fork and not upstreamed into the Ubuntu repos.
  15. Heh, read that as "coding my resume tomorrow". I was thinking "damn, that's hard core!"
  16. Yea, I downloaded the vmware image and used 7zip to open it. Works just fine.
  17. Damn it! Back ordered again!
  18. All USB ports only send 5 volts. It only sends 5 volts at .5 amps.
  19. Oh, one thing you forgot to draw up was CD labels! Some of us still use those archaic things, when they work...
