  1. Have you tried to do a factory reset and see if that helps? if not try that and how are you providing an internet connection?
  2. Maybe they were watching the little mermaid with there child and thinking what a good name. But on the other hand all the firmwares have a number after them 1.1-167, 1.2-xxx maybe all the firmware names are related to the little mermaid or maybe im crazy. both are possible. Maybe these firmware names are based on disney movies, just a thought, hey @Sebkinne not to get to personal but who at the shop watched little mermaid last lol. edit: I think im more intrigued with this firmware naming than the device today.
  3. When you plug in the bunny in arming mode your file directory will have a text file labeled version or something like that and it should say 1.2-xxx
  4. The nano is an upgraded markV with smaller foot print and upgraded gui. The tetra is a more powerful version with the upgraded GUI and has not only 2.4ghz but also 5ghz compatibility. The attacks are roughly the same with more improvements over what the markV had.
  5. the point of the rt5370 is for connecting to an AP and controlling the nano that way. to do it with a laptop you need to create an AP with your wireless adapter and connect wlan2 to that. But that is not practical for a laptop. use the usb connector or connect your laptop to the management AP. The point in doing this with android is having the internet for the nano so any clients connected have internet. If you do this with a laptop the only way for the clients to have internet is with the USB cable and ICS or connect the nano to wifi AP with wlan2 and have your laptop connect to the management AP.
  6. Im going to give it a try when I get some more time later. I wonder if the pineapples will switch to LEDE in a later firmware update?
  7. As Ive been looking for an openwrt img for the pi zero, I ended up building one and then came across the LEDE page that is an Openwrt like distro. A lot of things Ive read suggest that LEDE will replace Openwrt. Anybody have any other info on this ** putting openwrt or lede on a pi zero is absolutely worthless, but I wanted to kill some time and try it out anyways.
  8. make sure that PineAP is not on when connecting wlan2 to an AP. The IP address you have looks to be like the pineapple itself. I have only come across 2 routers that dish out the 172.xx.xx.xx ip address so most likely your connected to yourself.
  9. Works great. That is pretty cool!
  10. Connecting a full size GPU to a laptop is possible as long as everything works right and its setup right. But for the most part it is really not practical because, well its a laptop. But if you do your research has been done before but most of the setups I saw were for macbooks with thunderbolt ports.
  11. Yes. Boot speed for the bunny being 7 seconds vs the ducky is almost instant depending on delays. But the Bunny can do a couple more things like quick creds and poison tap. it all depends on how much time you have.
  12. I have had no luck with bettercap because i have not found a version of ruby for arm devices over 2.1.5 and for bettercap to be installed some dependencies need ruby 2.2 or greater.
  13. tried it out after 4 1min scans it never game results. I have an android phone that is not connected to any AP also.
  14. go to your network settings in settings and there will be a slide option for wifi tether and you turn it on. Depending on the carrier that was phone is programmed for, you might not be able to.
  15. 220v usb? You need a 5v power supply for the usb power with the right amount of Amps to power the tetra. the tetra need 18-24 watts of power which equals 2x 5v2.4a power supply. some batteries have 2 5v2.4a plugs or you could use 2 different batteries with the 5v2.4a usb ports. under powering causes problems but overpowering with a 5v power supply is not a problem as the tetra will only draw what it needs.
  16. you might want to try a different SD card and if that doesnt work then email support. be patient if you email support because it is a small crew and they are working there butts off to make all orders and RMA's.
  17. I use ScanDisk Ultra 8g, 16g, and 32g also Samsung Evo 32g have all worked fine for me.
  18. what kind of sd card are you using
  19. how are you powering device and what firmware are you using
  20. it comes with 3 dbi. you could use 16dbi I think is the max in the US before it is outside regulation. RP-SMA antennas, very common.
  21. how are you powering the nano. I ask this because a lot of problems with the nano can be traced back to the amount of power provided
  22. Are you just trying to get clients to connect?
  23. Ive had a problem where all my modules disappear and i shutdown the nano, eject the sd card and reinsert and problem fixed.
