I don't understand why people generate their own MD5 checksums. Doing that is pointless as it defeats the purpose - catching corruption of files. I have updated the flashing guide and added ZIP files to the download section. Please use these instead of generating your own MD5 files. It isn't new and only happens rarely. Don't ask me why or when it does, but I had it happen once with UPS. Sucks, really. I was in the same boat as you too, had I called the next day, I could have said goodbye to my package..

The pineapple requires an SD card to boot in most cases. It may been to be formatted fat / ext beforehand. It will then boot.

Sorting, resizing, hiding will come in the UI update. A time line will be published soon. You will never get the option to remove a system tile. Hide, yes, but not all. Some will be mandatory. You could set up VLC to stream files for you. Works pretty well, but you'll need to lock it down a bit!

Not every forum has this turned on. And we don't want it everywhere. I assume you mean the infusions forum. We don't want this ability there.

qLabs, Hak5 has nothing to do with customs. If a package is stopped, it is stopped. It depends on the border of that specific country. If you know that USPS works, you could have chosen that at checkout AFAIK. What lack of personal privacy are you speaking of? What lack of security? I don't see how this has anything to do with Hak5. If customs decides to inspects a package at a border, it has nothing to do with the sender. They aren't invading your privacy. They aren't putting your security at risk either. In the end, if you have an issue with your countries customs, complain to them (which will most likely fall on dead ears) Or in the future choose a different shipping method.
