firefox has many good features like grease monkey, for some time I have been making a grease monkey script that will allow hak5 to better fit different screen sizes by changing the fixed sizes of the forum to a more dynamic look where it will size it's self based on the size of the screen and not just a fixed size designed for 1024x768 was able to do it by saving one of the pages and editing the code the only problem is getting grease monkey to apply those changes to each page in real time cant do that with IE

microsoft doesnt understand what update and upgrade means. look at most of their programs, IE went downhill after ie6 ie7 uses a lot more memory and cpu usage and lacks many of the features of ie6 like ftp support (in ie6 i can open any folder and access one of my few ftp servers, ie7 removed this ease of use all microsoft has been focused on the past 6 years was eye candy and not performance or functionality

i did a standalone one because it is a security risk to be using a older version of a browser for everyday browsing that way the older browser will be used just for pandora while the newer firefox remains which allows more secure browsing the old switching to older firefox worked before but it really was not meant to be used that long as a solution to the problem firefox is secure because the makers are willing to listen to users and fix security problems while the old version of firefox will work on most sites, i wouldn't trust it on some ddl and warez sites or other questionable sites people tend to go to

could use 8 of the random ascii characters most brute force attacks don't go through the ascii characters because that makes it take much longer and very few people use them in passwords if your using a much longer ascii password then just copy and paste it into a text file and save it to a usb flash drive and encrypt it using truecrypt the only way for the jerk who got in the first time to do it again will be for them to find you and force you to give them the password just be sure to reformat that pc first just to be safe as theres no telling what other crap they did

Bullshit. My Dell got dropped at a party by my drunken flatmate, trashing the HD and mobo. I phoned up Dell support in the evening after the party and told them what happened. At 09:05 am the next morning I was woken by Dell service engineer at my door apologizing for being late. He replaced pretty much everything but the upper case & screen and was on his way by 09:40 am. 2 years later and its still going strong. Try getting Apple to do that. apple doesnt give that kind of support, when many people complained about the screens of the imac, apple denied it and delete any forum post on their site about it for me some of the older dell laptops like the dell inspron 8600 and other models like that would run into hardware problems and they will usually happen when the warranty was gone but when the warranty is still going, you will generally get good service

dell laptops have gotten better but there still poorly made and their warranties suck if you get one, make sure you can find replacement parts as many of them tend to fail when the warranty ends

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former while on the bus on the way to school, the bus was packed one lady rang for a stop she was probably in her 20's and had the worst attitude possible (sometimes common in queens NY) as we all know, all city buses have 2 exits one in the back area and one in the front, the new hybrid buses have the front and back exits at the same level (this change was made to make using the bus easier on the driver as they no longer have to walk all the way to the back to use the wheelchair ramp, it can now be controlled from the front and the low level allows 1 steel panel instead of a lift to be used) well today the bus was full, and this lady wanted to get off, she was in the upper area of the back part of the bus, and knowing newyork, people are too lazy to go more than half way down unless something happens that makes then have to go further back when the bus reached her stop she tried to make her way to the front exit, (to get to that exit, she would have to pass the back exit and have everyone move out of the way so she could move through ) when she got past 3 people, and got up to me, the looked at me and got a attitude and asked me to move. i turned to her slowly and told her " you know you could have left through the back door instead of pushing your way through like 50 people to go through the front" then she started to get a nastier attitude and failing to properly pronounce 99% of the words she was trying to say, so i caked her, "can i press 1 for english?" and then she stopped talking and got off through the other exit what made it even more stupid was that she walked in the direction opposite direction that the bus was facing so if she went through the front, the would only have turned the other way and walked back passing the back door on the outside again whats happening to new york? :x
