1. kinda like tcp dump but instead of saving packets to one file it saves the pictures from those packets into say the usb?
2. I posted on here the iw commands to creat a wlan* from phy1 aka wlan1 as far as wlan17 check /etc/config/wireless I bet there are a few new radios in there;-)
3. Version 2.0 for firmware 2.6.4UP interface restructure bug fixes rolls now have links under them for the creator of that roll
4. same here ++, at least since last 2 versions of firmware acting like this
5. those instructions are for a mk1 or mk2 serial it will have to be unless you havnt tried holding the reset button for 7 seconds?
6. Thanks for clearing that up Seb:-) I'll see what I can do, actually the last time I delt with data alliance they were a pain to get the shipping cost fixed, overpaid $30, they did finally fix the issue after a few weeks
7. in any case both of my pineapples are still 32MB, even with just 8mb flash alot can be offloaded to the usb, like packages. what do you mean alfa caps the flash size? is the chip able to hold more?
8. hmm wierd, I would re-flash and see what happens
9. the wp4.sh is for running on a linux box to supply internet to the pineapple, it is not run on the pineapple.
10. as far as the module stuff design it for 2.6.4 because that is the future for dev stuff you would have to talk to Sebkinne
11. It's great to have some more people that can do php bash and understand open-wrt, Im not the best as far as a feature that people would love you for is if you make a gui front end to reaver, that is somthing that is to my knowledge is not being done. I would make it but my php is not great.
12. I just wanted to point out that Seb has released some commands to fix a few issues with 2.6.4 ONLY! http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/27303-mk4-firmware-264-release/page__st__60#entry210019
13. I have seen some hornet boards with 64MB instead of 32MB around the web man I wish this would have been the standard 8 months ago. it still has 8MB of flash this could help with memory intensive programs like sslstrip. EDIT: I ordered one and will test once I get my hands on it probably 15 days from now. I realy think this will give sslstrip and other memory hogs the extra umph needed, I always assumed that it wasnt cpu but ram that was causing these programs to bogg down. I measured about 14MB of space required for installing sslstrip so that means that at any one time a huge chunk of the sslstrip process is in swap space on the usb drive witch is verry slow
14. version 2.1 added change pineapple ui port
15. no I have edited it and will update now, Version 2.0 I updated for the newest firmware 2.6.4up I also removed a few options because I feel my random roll module now takes care of those things removed
16. Anton as far as txpower is concerned I have not been able to go above 20dbm with my nha and it seems to be an issue with openwrt so even though there are cards that can do 500mw or higher there is no way to use that power, I believe the nha on the pineapple is below 150mw?
17. it's suppose to be 172.16.42.1:1471/index.php. the advance tab's url is correct just not status and config, note this is only an issue when viewing a module EDIT: I see the issue in navbar.php the first two links are missing a forward slash also I went to use your bartender module after updating blacklister and I guess it also needs to be updated, should I wait for it to be fixed instead of the old way of packaging a module?
18. install reaver to usb opkg update opkg --dest usb install reaver
or install to internal
opkg update opkg install reaver
no module/gui yet:-(
19. Seb did mention that dsniff package was removed from the repo because it's not being maintained. and another thing to mention is that some devices save the ip for a dns record and bypass dnsspoof/dns
20. you can ssh into the pineapple and install opkg update opkg --dest usb install sslstrip ln -s /usb/usr/lib/python2.7 /usr/lib/python2.7 touch /usb/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/zope/__init__.py
instructions for running can be found here http://www.thoughtcr...tware/sslstrip/ don't worry about arpspoofing
21. thaihenry do you find it better than using .7?
22. it's only an issue when you don't have an internet connection or while dnsspoofing
