  1. http://hakshop.mysho...android-mini-pc it's got alot more than the current mk4 hardware. only thing is it's a ralink chipset:-( and no ethernet jack but I know there are usb to ethernet adapters. I think these specs could def be what us more power hungry pen testers want what do you think?
  2. with dnsspoof I don't think you can whitelist, it sucks because how can you redirect all dns lookups but not the apple one?

  4. what does your .conf file look like? the one you run with hostapd could need configuring
  5. someone on the forum a while back posted instructions on how to do that, if I remember there is an issue with .09 and a file needed to be modified, I never tried it

  9. I would bridge wlan1 to br-lan since most of the tools on the pineapple are sniffing br-lan, use WM's module networkmanager for all this
  10. with the newest firmware you have to bring wlan1 down before running the script, are you using a powered hub?

  12. sslstrip module has nothing to do with the actual program sslstrip, it is just a gui front end

  14. yes all those programs are installed to usb, the infusions are for the most part to extend the functionality of the pineapple by giving gui's for things like sslstrip and added features that are not includded in the origanal firmware
  15. probably, I would upgrade manually http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/index.php?flashing do it with nothing in the usb port and make sure the md5's match before atempting.
  16. And when I tried to use it in gparted it did not work since it was read only. mount -o remount -o rw /dev/sdc{1,2} did not work either.. The current solution is that I am using another USB-drive instead.. this one seems to work prefectly. As from what I understand it seems like the 4gb sandisk is broken in some way, either the filesystem or something else. ouch sounds like you got the dredded sandisk write protection, there are alot of people experiencing this, I have 2 16 gig cruzers and all is fine, cross my fingers ps there doesn't seem to be a fix for this

Hey guys I don't know if this is related but I just tried to deauth my friends samsung galaxy ace and it would not work my android phone did but not his?? also It didn't want to connect to the pineapple's ssid too easily, could this be a security feature now starting to show up in newer phones??
  18. Could that be because I've already runned the script once and rebooted it and now trying to do this which should have been done before the script was run in the first place? Should I factory reset it and make it in the right order? are you using a hub? I would re-flash and then re-setup your thumb drive, make sure it's working then run the script with the thumb drive out
  19. ya my android phone doesn't do sound or flash, I am not sure if it's a version thing or LG not supporting/including those ability's. my friends androids work as far as sound.
  20. I also like how sslstrip and other http tools will not affect the ui and managment:-)
  21. maybe setup the usb drive using the tutorial and then try the script there is a test in the script that checks for sda1, so that might be the issue.

  23. itsm0ld I think it may have worked to a point, maybe it's to do with the file hostapd-phy1.conf? the script copies it from hostapd-phy0.conf and many of the settings/options are for the internal interface and not compatable with a ralink, will have to mess with this to confirm, I swear it did seem to be working, the led on the pineapple for wlan0 was off but also the led for the alfa card was off as well? I did connect and had internet? weird. maybe not fully compatable? edit: the second time I tried the alfa card messed with the internal card and I had to insert it after a full boot the third try. but I don't remember this on the firs try, I think the first time you insert a new wifi card it gets setup, you can tell because /etc/config/wireless adds more radios, I now have radio0 through radio2. radio0 internal, radio1 NHA and radio2 H, I will try removing those lines for radio2 and try again.
  24. what the??? I thought the karma pached hostapd only worked with atheros chipsets? I will have to try out when I get the time. EDIT: It seemed to be working but after a restart I could not get the AWUS036H to function like the NHA.
