  1. It isn't ready yet as there are few things to work out. We'll update you soon though! :) Best Regards, Sebkinne
  2. The issue has been located and fixed. We will be releasing 1.1.1 soon, this fix included. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  3. The issue is that you cancelled the upgrade. It is odd indeed that it would have taken so long, but that is why it isn't there anymore. You can use the following commands to restore the WiFi Pineapple Bar though: SSH into your pineapple and execute these commands: rm -rf /pineapple/components/system/bar && cp -r /rom/pineapple/components/system/bar /pineapple/components/system/bar Alternatively, you may reset your WiFi Pineapple MKV by using the DIP switches or the configuration tile (advanced tab). Best Regards, Sebkinne
  4. See the pinned FAQ for more details. Best regards, Sebkinne
  5. Hey acdc, Please see this post for information on how the Black / White lists work. It also explains why the switch button is important and only there for the SSIDs. I cannot tell you why your SSIDs or MACs are not clearing, they are on mine (and my testers) 1.1.0 WiFi Pineapple MKVs just fine. I suggest a re-flash to get the issue resolved. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  6. Most of this is in the booklet you received along with your WiFi Pineapple MKV. The only thing missing is what the flickering means on the final firmware image. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  7. Hey K0sebamse, The blue LED means that wlan0 is active. It will flicker on transmission. The red LED means that wlan1 is active and connected to a network. It will flicker on transmission. The amber LED means that ethernet is connected. When it flickers, traffic is flowing. Note that the above is only relevant for the actual WiFi Pineapple MKV firmware - not the stager. The stager LEDs work like this: The amber LED should blink steadily while searching for the SD card / files on the SD card. The red LED will go solid if there is an MD5 missmatch. The blue LED will go solid once the flashing process has begun. When you see a matrix pattern of blue, red, and amber, the WiFi Pineapple is ready to setup. Please note that the blue LED will blink steadily during the startup of the device - no matter what firmware. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  8. If you bought it second hand, it may not be in working condition. Do you see a WiFi network being broadcast by the WiFi Pineapple MKIV? If so, please try to connect to that and factory reset the pineapple. If you cannot connect to or don't see a WiFi network being broadcast, you'll likely need to restore the WiFI Pineapple MKIV using the instructions here at the bottom. Note though that this requires you having a 3.3V UART serial cable. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  9. In this case, the infusion devs don't let you choose where to save the log. This is something you might suggest to them though. Installing the infusion to the SD card will usually also move the location of logs that infusions are generating. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  10. The way it works on the WiFi Pineapple MKV is as follows: SSID: Karma can be either in white or in blacklist mode. Note that this is only relevant for SSIDs. Whitelist mode: Only SSIDs in the list will be karma'd. Blacklist mode: The SSIDs in the list will NOT be karma'd. MAC: Karma only has one list related to MACs. This is the MAC blacklist. Any MAC inside this blacklist will NOT be karma'd. That's about it. Also note that we didn't add a new button in 1.1.0, so I'm unsure of what you are talking about.. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  11. That I can help you with: https://wifipineapple.com/mk5/booklet.pdf Best Regards, Sebkinne
  12. Nope, just tested - works :) But what you can do to debug it: disable karma autostart through UI ls -la /etc/rc.d/ enable karma autostart through UI ls -la /etc/rc.d/ Let's see what that gives us!
  13. One sec Barry, I'll check it out.
  14. If you want speed, grab yourself a class10 micro SD card. Format that to ext4 and it'll run great! Best regards, Sebkinne
  15. Just head over the the webinferface, then under resources -> USB and from there you can format the SD card too. Best regards, Sebkinne
  16. Sorry you are having these issues. Are you using the SD card we shipped with the device? It is possible that it has become corrupt. If that is the case, you might need to re-format it to be able to install infusions onto the sd card. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  17. Nope, it's dead. This is why we state to never connect the voltage pins. If you do, 3.3V is the one you need. But there is no need to connect any voltage pins. Best regards, Sebkinne
  18. Again, using percentages will work for what you want to do. You could get more complex and change the behavior of the page if the screen size is below a specific value, but I think that's more than you really need. Just move everything from pixel sizes to percentages and you should be able to display it nicely across most screens. Best regards, Sebkinne
  19. In that case using percentages instead of pixels is probably what you want.
  20. Okay, let's stop the bickering. Keep this thread on topic please. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  21. Well, what does work is buying the connector Darren mentioned. Plug the USB end into a laptop or a USB charger / battery pack. Connect the barrel connector to the pineapple's power port. DO NOT plug in the USB to the Pineapple and the Barren to a battery. That'll fry it. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  22. InfoSecwriter, I cannot reproduce this issue, but I'll take a look. From what I can see it is not related to the linked post above, as that shouldn't case reboots of the device. In regards to the LED, the red LED is programmed to turn on only when associated with a network. This is why you won't see it light up when in monitor mode etc. It is possible that some other actions make it light up if there is some transmission going on, but that should be rare. In regards to the bugtracker, if it is in there it will be addressed. Some other issues we have had to fix did take priority over this though. Best Regards, Sebkinne
  23. We actually changed the instructions and got rid of the extra step - the stager - in between.
  24. Please see this thread for a resolution! Best Regards, Sebkinne
  25. Hey Laptopdude and welcome to the forums! I suggest adding the option to choose between bully or reaver. The reason I suggest this is because depending on the use-case bully is much more reliable than reaver is. Best Regards, Sebkinne
