  1. I think you can SSH directly to it. I haven't had much time to play with it other than the first week I got it.
  2. If your windows Host is connecting to WiFi on an open network, you may want to blacklist it so you don't Karma yourself.
  3. I wonder if the hub is messing with it somehow. Does it work on another machine? Try using a USB Extension cable to test?
  4. Please, let's not turn this into a dumping ground of YouTube videos.
  5. It should detect and show up as another interface. What is your output of lsusb and ifconfig ?
  6. Figured it would test the powers of observation with the settings titled "Files Preferences", with the "Files" menu at the top there. Also the blue dots next to the file browser on the Gnome panel on the left :D.
  7. There is a bug with updating aircrack-ng on Kali. I haven't tested with Kali 2.0 yet. View this thread for my fix on aircrack-ng on Kali 1.x https://forum.aircrack-ng.org/index.php/topic,1010.0.html
  8. The menu in my screenshot is when you open the file viewer and go into the preferences.
  9. I know agents that would rather take the OC spray over taser (5 second ride) any day. Also, a little stat on being tased. One in ten lose bowel control when tased.
  10. This will make the file just run if you give it chmod +x file.sh It will not open a terminal and show stdout. It runs it in the background. The best I got for a 2 minute look.
  11. I have some experience with the ones issued to police. I also know people who have gone through TASER certified training. It puts a high amount of voltage through a human body, there are obviously going to be problems associated with it. But it's less lethal than lead.
  12. FYI, If a probe misses the target, the system does not work.
  13. You can only download the trigger records and calibration as you stated. You would not be able to "increase" voltage because that is all regulated by circuitry and would require modification. If you wanted to modify the software, you most likely would have to JTAG and know what you are doing to even come close. I have only messed with a couple of them to download the trigger pull records.
  14. There are plenty of free resources available: http://usbrubberducky.com/#!index.md
  15. I would try using a "naked" browser. No script blocking/ad blocking/etc add-ons running.
  16. You cannot crack these keys because you would be unable to recover them. Even if you jailbreak the device, you can only get a logical copy of allocated information since it is all encrypted. So the only way that you will get those pictures is if they are in the "Recently Deleted", on iCloud, or were sent in an MMS/iMessage and the message is still there.
  17. Since we are specifically focused on the iPhone: Ever since the A5 chip, the storage on the phone has been encrypted. Each file on the phone is encrypted with it's own key. Once the file is deleted, it is marked as unallocated to the file system, and the encryption key is deleted as well. There is no way to recover said photos that were deleted unless they are in the "Recently Deleted", on iCloud, or were sent in an MMS/iMessage and the message is still there. You are correct with your understanding, but things change a bit for mobile devices.
  18. There is nothing you can do. You would be lucky if you found a thumbnail lurking about. If the company owns the device and the login for it, might be able to restore from iCloud backup. Other than that, the pictures are gone.
  19. What model iPhone and iOS version is on the device? Do you know the account login/password to pull iCloud data? That would probably be the only way to get any of those pictures back.
  20. I'm pretty sure you can't backfeed through USB to power the pineapple. I'm not sure why people think this is a possibility. It may work, but chances are you will break it.
  21. Even better! I wanted to see this talk but the booth was so busy. I will be downloading the talks when they are available.
  22. Manually upgraded your account to allow more features. Try again when you get a chance, and good work. We are all slowly getting back from DefCon.
  23. What keyboard language are you using? That has caused issues with some in the past.
  24. Remove the dashes between the commands and try that. Instead of "ALT-SHIFT s" try "ALT SHIFT s"
