  1. For WPA, you need to know the key, enable decryption in Wireshark, AND you have to start capturing before the 4 way handshake happens. Some Google-fu should find you the info you need.
  2. Connect your laptop to your WiFi that has internet Disable network manager on Ubuntu. Run the wp5.sh and make sure the interfaces reflect what they are in regards to internet and pineapple connection.
  3. Since it doesn't seem to be a forum issue, I'm not sure what to suggest. There must be something blocking it with your browsers/OS. I don't OSX, so I don't know what to suggest.
  4. I will create some test accounts and try it out when I get home from work. Stay tuned.
  5. I'm not having that issue, I use that feature multiple times daily. I will create a normal account tomorrow and see it's results. Try disabling script/ad blocking and see if that changes the results.
  6. You can go old school with a teensy. But that requires arduino coding and have to make it from scratch. It all depends on your skill level, but it's not too difficult.
  7. Without totally screwing up configs, you can just connect it to the management side which should be WPA. You can also turn on "white list" and just don't put any MAC addresses in there and that should disallow anyone connecting to the open side, I think.
  8. In regards to the imaging. Is it a software RAID? If not, you can boot just about any current linux distro and get a bit FOR (not by) bit image of it. The linux distribution should detect the RAID Controller and present you one large volume. If you want to be in a read only environment check out a "forensic" distro like Paladin linux. https://www.sumuri.com/product-category/paladin/ you can modify the amount or if you choose to help donate, great. If it only shows the disks individually one of two things are in place. 1) It is a software RAID setup. Or 2) The RAID controller driver is not install on Paladin. If it is a hardware RAID with a RAID controller on board or a card, you can image all disks individually and find a RAID reconstruction software to rebuild it. You may have to go into the RAID controller boot options in order to find all the information you need like block size, etc. If it is a software RAID, it would be easiest to perform a live image with the system booted and imaging obviously to storage not within that RAID setup. You may be able to rebuild the software RAID if you image all disks individually, but it all depends on the software used and knowing some offsets to start at. Windows local login passwords are trivial. You can boot the machine with Linux, extract the login files needed to break the local password, then crack it offline. I believe KonBoot does a live memory patch to allow any password to login. I don't recall if it changes it since I have not played with that tool in years. If your goal is to recover the bad employee's files he is encrypting, you may want to contact your system's administrator or have the proper management file charges for destruction of company information or things of that sort. If the encryption is unknown what the "bad employee" is using, it will be very difficult to determine. Hope this helps.
  9. Need to be an "Active Member" to do so. It's like 5 posts to auto promote. Currently limited to 2 per day for new members.
  10. Dip switch 5 (the one closest to the antenna) needs to be down for Recovery mode.

    Hola VPN

If you use ddwrt or openwrt you can set it up to connect to an openVPN as a client.
  12. The dip switch is to enable the 192.168.1.1 interface for recovery. That may be your issue. If not I'll see if I can make a video on how to do it later.
  13. Turn off all add-ons and try the upgrade again. Which file are you using to flash it? After flashing, leave it plugged in for a bit while the blue light flashes. Maybe 15 minutes. It should eventually blink all the lights on the top letting you know it's ready for configuration.
  14. You will need to check International regulations if you plan on bringing it with you while flying. You can always ask if/when you get there and buy some of the local stuff. The BART will get you close and you can take a bus that will drop you off pretty close to where you need to be. The other alternative is Uber.
  15. I think it would depend on the agenda. Don't drink and fly UAVs lol. Maybe Darren will poke in with a response.
  16. If the ducky works in other machines, then it is something up with the system you are using. It could be a ton of things. Try a different USB Port. If that doesn't work, I am out of ideas.
  17. See if you can find a tool to "clean" the USB Store (old USB devices that have been plugged in) from your registry. Then try again.
  18. That might be the issue, plug it in and open device manager. It should show it with a yellow exclamation point. Right click it and "Uninstall" and also uninstall drivers. Reboot and try the ducky again.
  19. Have you done any HID changes to it? Is this a recent purchase? Please explain more on events that lead up to this. The ducky should install automatically with default drivers without any issues.
  20. You will all have to wait to see. Meanwhile, I need to test out mine :P.
  21. It depends on the rooting method. The methods that require unlocking the boot loader will result in all information being destroyed. There are other methods for rooting, even temporary root that do not destroy information previously on the device.
  22. I am pretty sure everyone will enjoy the near future in regards to Hak5 things. (vague enough? :P) Be sure to stay tuned.
  23. My guess would be there is a script blocker or ad blocker involved.
  24. Looks fine to me. Main Hak5 is at the top, all the other shows are below it in a playlist format.
  25. I'm not sure how up to date this is: http://usbrubberducky.com/#!resources.md Which links to https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/28254-tutorial-re-flashingupgrading-the-ducky-winxp-32bit/ and https://github.com/hak5darren/USB-Rubber-Ducky/wiki/Flashing-ducky
