  1. Run the script with root permissions and disable network manager to avoid conflicts.
  2. Good call. It was a bit late for me to be responding to late night forum posts haha.
  3. Well, if you just want a string of text to a hash you can do something like the following on linux: echo "Words for password here" | md5sum That will get you an MD5 sum. or Google some online text / string to hash generators.
  4. Very Halloween themed it feels. What lurks in the night under the blue glow?
  5. That's not possible through HDMI. You can do bi-directional audio, but not video.
  6. All you need is inject.bin so if you create another payload, you will be all set.
  7. The LAN turtle is 172.16.84.1 from the USB side and should DHCP that to the machine you have it plugged into. And you cannot SSH from the outside (Ethernet) port by default. Unless you are trying to SSH to another host through the turtle?
  8. That is kind of odd. Maybe add a keyboard "b" key press like you were spelling out the program to highlight it and try that out? I don't have a Win XP to test on. It may be doing something funky with Chrome "Show In Folder" with XP and selecting the path bar instead of the file itself.
  9. You realize it's $100 from hakshop. Stock should be back soon.
  10. Try CTRL vs CONTROL and see if that makes a difference. Post your source you are compiling? Start with putting some delays between every command to see if it's working properly and then trim down the delays from there. For example, if you are trying to do GUI + R, cmd, enter too fast, the computer may not have the run box active before the ducky start typing cmd and enter.
  11. Your initial delay needs to be pretty long due to device detection of the OS. Mileage may vary.
  12. The unbricking process should not matter what OS you are using. Maybe the button was not held properly for the recovery mode. Glad to see you have it up and running. Cheers.
  13. I'm not sure, You may be able to get a warranty replacement if you fall within all the policy: http://hakshop.myshopify.com/pages/policy#warranty
  14. It should pull drivers from Windows update. Try "Upgrade" drivers from device manager and have it check online.
  15. Make sure you clear out your "known hosts" file to accept the new key to allow the connection. If you have accepted the new key, and the default password and your original password do not work, you may need to follow the unbrick instructions: http://lanturtle.com/wiki/#!index.md#Factory_Reset_/_%22Unbricking%22
  16. https://github.com/greatscottgadgets/yardstick/wiki/YARD-Stick-One#enclosure-options http://greatscottgadgets.com/yardstickone/ rfcat is a python script to interface with it.
  17. gilberttavish, Sorry to see you go. Please send me a PM and I will take care of it for you.
  18. I initially liked the Kali 2.0 interface with GNOME 3, but the fact it works like Apple's app launcher and I haven't find a way to easily see what programs are running is annoying. I run it in a VM and the side bar is a pain at times to get to show up. An actual HDD install on my laptop has video issues galore. Made for some interesting artifacts that never seem to go away. VM may be the best fit for me. See if this helps your install needs: http://docs.kali.org/general-use/kali-linux-sources-list-repositories
  19. I would say do a fresh install from the Kali 2.0 ISO. I did that in a VM and my RTL SDR and YS1 (YARD Stick One) work pretty well with USB Pass-through. My initial issue was the gain on gqrx to see the not so strong signals.
  20. For reference, the power adapter that comes with the WiFi Pineapple is 9V @ 1.5 A Flexible power options. Variable voltages for operation from 5v - 12v sources.
  21. I guess it all depends on the site you are going to?
  22. I discovered my turtle may be broken. Getting a replacement one here shortly. Then I will re-test with El Capitan at work and see if I can get a VM configured. Stay tuned :P.
  23. I tried plugging in the lanturtle into my El Capitan (basically fresh install) and it would not detect as an ethernet adapter. Running ifconfig did not show it up, nor did dmesg. I did not try in a VM since I did not have one setup and had no time to set one up.
