I can agree with you the Pineapple is really a hype I've kept this to myself because I didn't wanna offend people who like hak5 but I've always seen hak5 be the kinda people who are trying to sell you a product is all they're about. I'm a complete noob and do my best to help people understand how the pineapple could be used some times I feel like I do a better job promoting hak5's stuff then they do. I get the point that they're trying to cover their ass from legal troubles but I can tell you that hardly anyone is using the pineapple for ethical purposes I've always wanted to buy a Ubertooth One but hak5 has never showed me a good enough reason that I'd ever need anything like that. The rubber ducky eh! barely has any cool usages I made a mistake and blew my cover asked people if they would help me make a thing that would auto make a admin account account on Walmart demo machine and I liked to gotten ban on here for asking that :B I think maybe the stuff hak5 try's to sell to people possibly are not for people like me im honestly not sure who they're for because im sure the stuff hak5 sells could be made in someones garage with a circuit board and a soldering iron. I know people that have the skill to do that so I don't see why anyone would need hak5 stuff unless they wanted to reverse engineer it to see how it works. Maybe im just closed mind but I just believe hak5 is trying to sell you a product rather then showing you its full potential they give hints. I think that's why I get a lot of viewers to my channel even though I'm a nubcake I still try and offer advice and help with products I don't even make money from

I didn't attend defcon this year but if nothing from defcon is being added then defcon this year most have been very disappointing either im falling behind on Infosec or their really hasn't been any good tools released I'd like to try cobalt strike and compare it to armitage then private exploits cobalt strike has is nice! tp-link wn722n is okay it's possibly the best you can do unless you get an Alfa Network AWUS036H possibly the best card out there. Might have been lies but I heard these are custom made by a small group of people not like a huge assembly line being that its custom hardware and not the old Alfa Networks AP-121u I would assume before this month is up they will be in stock. Your not missing out on much yet maybe when the new 3.0 firmware is released it might hype the pineapple up again at least I hope that way.

I think it's safe to say that the person who sold theirs for $400 got lucky I doubt their can be that many people that would pay 3x the price I'm sure they will be back in stock before the month is up no point in sending 3x the money on it.

Some people are just dumb is all I can say or just have a ton of money to waste but I did say that at one point people could over price the MK5 online if you guys read back a bit people at least took my advice I'd sell mine but don't have a box to ship it in I got the original box the MK5 came in but no shipping box I like to at least let people see nice packaging.

So last night had to be the coolest night ever a really awesome friend and I from the old days of Yahoo's Hackers Lounge:1 have been chatting for a few years on Skype and last night I got to spend a few minutes talking with the Crunchman hes gonna be busy he said cause hes attending a conference in about 9 days at geekfestberlin so he will be busy but said me might be able to chat some time after his touring. My friend asked to remain anonymous in the picture so hes got an anonymous mask over his face im at the bottom on camera I have to say its kinda cool I've never got to attend defcon because im scared of flying and stuff so that's always held back from attending conferences but will be cool to one day have him host a Skype session me to just listen to what he has to say and any advice he has for me inthe direction im going with my teaching I do I ethical hacking and cyber security. Obviously I have no need for him to teach me how to hack stuff but would be cool to just sit back one night on Skype and let him Speak his mind maybe pick his mind of some things I might have questions about that he might know. People wanted me to do a video on this the public exploit released doesn't work for my Nexus 7 2013 tablet even though the detector claims my tablet is vulnerable renamed the python script to mp4.py that part works when making the mp4 set my chost and set my cback port made the mp4 called test.mp4 placed it on my kali apache server started a nc -l -p 4444 went to my kali webserver to run the mp4 nothing happens :B no connect back on netcat so :B

I've always had doing a short pin on laptops with BIOS passwords I normally when im bored will buy decent laptops off ebay that are BIOS password protected and short pin the laptop and end up wiping the password out then sell the laptop on craigslist for $20 more then what I paid for it.
