You need to use the OEM cable that came with the device that you use for charging your device if you don't have the cable that came with the device you will problems but also I notice that The WiFi Pineapple Connector Ap doesn't do anything but enable Tethering. Word of advice I believe Google might have removed or disabled Tethering on Android 6.x I tried using the WiFi Pineapple Connector App on Android 6.0.x and when I clicked the Configure it just shows a white screen so I reflashed my device with Android 5.1.1 and downloaded the WiFi Pineapple Connector App and when I click Configure I can see the options for Tethering however once I enabled Tether and tapped back the app just stays on the Window telling me to enable Tethering it doesn't go anywhere even if I tap back twice really fast so I just the WiFi Pineapple Connector App needs to be worked on.

Yeah this pretty much is the problem because its a WiFi Tablet so it doesn't have 3g/4g services only has WiFi for a source of internet and its the Nexus 7 2013 WiFi Tablet. I did manage to get it working by enabling tethering on the tablet and then what I did was used my laptop to see what the ip was under then networking section on the nano you can see a ifconfig thing that lists all the stuff without having to SSH in. Hopefully they will get the app fixed would be nice to be able to use the app for accessing nano.

OS X is a lot better then Windows coming from someone who's used Windows as his main OS for every 15 years I'd say OS X is a lot better then most of the other Operating Systems I've used in the past including Linux. I'm enjoying my OS X though its so far well worth the hassle I plan to do a follow up video explaining the problems I had and the pros and cons to moving from Windows to OS X. So far OS X has been the OS I've been missing all my life but I've only been using it maybe a week now. Just because of this little issue with ICS not working with the nano isn't gonna upset me. I'm more upset that I paid $100 for the NANO and the android app for the WiFi Pineapple Connector App doesn't work so their are pros and cons to everything. The good thing is I've figured out how to access my nano from my tablet without the WiFi Pineapple Connector App I just simply need to enable USB tethering on my nexus 7 2013 tablet manually then head over the the 192.x.x.x IP the NANO was assigned so fair its always been 192.168.42.70:1471 for me so im able to use my tablet with the NANO hopefully hak5 will fix that connector app I'd rather being using that but eh.

Yeah im having the same issue happen to came across your thread here I was checking out if you go to the Apple icon System Preferences> Sharing > Internet Sharing > pick either Ethernet or Airport I thought that supposed to be the ICS for OS X im not sure though when I tried I lost internet on my Hackintosh.

Anyone had any luck getting the WiFi Pineapple Connector App working on a Nexus 7 2013 WiFi tablet running 5.1.1 build number LMY48M I enabled tethering pressed the back button it still says Tethering Disabled You must first configure USB Tethering clicked the CONFIGURE shows USB tethering is tethered but the app doesn't go to figuring the nano.

Dang that's pretty cheap you got the og box and stuff for it or no I sold mine for $350 but will only make $319 because I didn't list it with the min $5 ebay seller fee LOL so now I gotta pay $36 seller fee right in the feels.

The biggest issue with YouTube is when your making videos about ethical hacking most of them people are using an ad blocker blocking the ad's decreases the YouTubers earnings why do you think PewDiePie makes a million dollars a year? because most of his fan base is basically pubescent based they possibly don't know how to install or where to get an ad blocker from and some of them possibly watch his videos over mobile which mades even more money if its viewed via mobile. The reason im bitter is I at least take the time to answer peoples questions on my YouTube comments I rarely if ever see any replies from hak5 in their video comments when people ask questions. Even though most of the questions im asked is all lamer stuff I still offer the best help I can. Why should I have to work for free I don't expect everyone to be able to donate which is understandable... Everything I do for people comes out of my money my hosting bill comes out of pocket luckily some companies have recently started reaching out to me to review their products. I don't wanna go all off time because this isn't the place to rant :B

The MK5 has been out for like what 2 years and were already gonna have a new MK5 or possible MK6 I do hope the development on the MK5 at least stays going because hak5 keeps trying to sell people products that just get kicked to the side reminds me of Microsoft with their releasing new versions of Windows. The infusions that are out for the MK5 made me disappointed I have to be honest that's one of the many reasons I stopped using mine now when this product is released it will end up being the same infusions just a different design with a little better hardware changes. I can't wait to see how much they wanna charge for this one over $100 reminds me of Reaver Systems sell Reaver Pro II for $200 then drop the price later. I'm not to worried because my money is spent all the way out to I think April cause I live on a $300 a month budget and only make if im lucky $160 every 2 months off my YouTube channel unlike some people *cough* hak5 *cough* I at least try to reply and help people in my video comments :B

For some reason I believe their is a hidden message in each video hak5 has been releasing about the Pineapple none the less my pineapple sold this morning on ebay i'll possibly buy it again later the mean time I need to raise money to build my Hackintosh so I had to part with some of my stuff im honestly lucky I got what I sold it for some im humble to the buyer its at least one step for me will hopefully cover the cost of the CPU at least. I'm curious if their is a new pineapple design coming soon the latest video at 6 seconds appears to look like the Antennas are not in the same spot as the MK5 has. Also I noticed lines on the enclosure that I don't think the MK5 has. Unless this is some kinda add on for the MK5 they're talking about two different pineapples in the first video Seb and Darren were in so maybe its some kinda attachment for each other idk.

Lol I'm sure someone else will be able to take my spot doing that the biggest issue I don't like doing videos about infusions is they're being changed around to much and my videos become out date when people go to use it so then I gotta do a whole new video showing it but eh! I'm so far behind on doing a lot of videos my biggest priority was getting the products that have been sent to me to review done I don't think people will ever realize my living environment I normally have to stay up till around 2 am just when its quite on my street to produce videos without listening to people drag racing down my room or people with loud music if only I lived in my parents basement like a lot people thought I did. I haven't really had a use for my wifi pineapple I used to use it for blackhat but now that people know who I am and where I live on my street its not a good idea to be doing that heh!

Might as well list my WiFi Pineapple MK5 on ebay later tonight don't use and need cash for building my Hackintosh for 2016 :)

I was working on a update to the ReVdK3-r1 but stopped cause I had other things to do I think the last time i was working on this I was having an issue with reaver window would show up then it switches to a aireplay-ng --help ect .. I think its some thing to do with mon1 mon2 mon3 the script doesn't put up 3 monitor mode interfaces I noticed to and I think that has to do with the new aircrack-ng

Might toss mine up on ebay for around $300 I got a battery pack original box different country plugs manual and micro-sd card if they're still out of stock by next Friday mine will be listing on ebay cause mine is collecting dust always re-buy it later if I need it. Plus I got a carrying bag and the pineapple decal badges that go on the bag.

I think the only downfall is that device only has one radio which basically would be a Mark 4 all over again granted you could attach up to 2 extra wireless cards to that thing you have their but possibly require a lot of modding to get it working I was curious to know if the Mark 4 firmware would work with a Trimslice.

I know you say you think your router isn't vulnerable but have you tried like... reaver -i wlan0mon -c 1 -b D8:EB:97:28:7C:A9 -K 1 -f -vv I've noticed that the newer reaver on Kali Linux 2.0 fails to crack vulnerable wps networks not sure if im using reaver wrong but I used to just use reaver as reaver -i mon0 -b BSSID -vv and it would use default reaver settings it standed a better chance of getting WPS locked but the default pin was 12345670 the newer reaver fails to associate with the network LOL

Thought about selling my MK5 on ebay :B I just need to see where I can find a box to ship the stuff in $250 for a MK5 and I can buy it again later for $100 :b

Mine is collecting dust I haven't had a uses for it after I did my last video on it. Thought About selling it maybe i'll list it up on Craigslist and see if anyone local wants to buy it heh!

No wireless card that im aware of on the market in the 2.4Ghz can reach further then 500 feet maybe 600 feet if your lucky but eh You stand a better chance using a Bi Quad dish over looking a city or town maybe if your in a tall apartment but if you live in a normal house with a lot of stuff in the path of view its gonna cut down on the signal.
