So, I'm just curious as to what the problem is I'm currently hooked up to Kali 2016.1 I can access the NANO on the machine that the NANO is connected to however on my OS X computer which is connected to the same router I can't access the NANO at the LAN IP 192.168.1.157:1471 That's the IP that shows the NANO was given inside my router but I can't reach the NANO from that LAN IP. just curious as to whats up with that ? I swear I heard others having this same issue I ssh'ed into root@172.16.42.1 doesn't show a 192.168.x.x only shows the pineapple address of 172.16.42.1 for br-lan for for route im only seeing 172.16.42.x IP's

Personally I think the NANO is the best thing hak5 has to offer the rest in my view isn't wroth buying but thats just me.. I took the NANO out on the 16th to a place called Chillis walked in with the NANO clipped on to my pants and my Nexus 6 connected to it sat down at my table logged into the NANO had at least 20 people connected to it had I would've had bad intent I could've done stuff to people.

How about script that runs like your airodump-ng commands and the aireplay-ng is too much for the cpu ? I mean I've been able to get handshakes manually running the commands via SSH on the MK5 and on a NANO it's just the hassle of needing to ssh in it be nice to do it via a UI I mean we had the old WPS infusion that used bully and reaver. I'm not trying to crack the handshake on the NANO obviously thats not got the kinda power but an infusion that at least can capture a handshake and then store it on the SD to be transferred to a cracking machine would be nice. In the Site Survey is the new infusion for that then no wonder I wasn't able to find the infusion I would've been looking for an infusion called "WPA Capture" or WiFi Attack idk :B

I asked this on the Kali forum but last time I looked I only had one person comment I was curious if any of you know of any wireless cards that work with OS X and El Captain for VM or not I've tried a few cards the one hak5 sells I tried its kinda buggy worked once then it wouldn't work so just trying to find some cards that will work on OS X and work in VM

Anyone currently working on an infusion for cracking these on a NANO or at least getting the handshake I saw the OnlineHashCrack but what about an infusion uses bully and a couple different wep cracking attacks? I mean I know some of you think WEP is dead but you'd honestly be surprised how many networks are still using it. I believe their was a WPS infusion for the MK5 how is it so hard to make a automated script that has drop list of WEP/WPA attacks ?

I welcome people with open arms :) I normally stay away from most communities online cause I normally wear my welcome out in due time most people who really don't know you tend to not wanna deal with people. So, im trying to figure out which Radio is which on the NANO Which side is the radio that has the SD Slot is that the wlan0 or wlan1. Reason I'm asking is im trying to figure out which radio to connect the Amplifier to if I wanna increase the signal so that devices a bit more far away have a better chance of getting the signal. I guess I could hook up one to each side and find out but I just wanna know which is wlan0 and which is wlan1 so the radio on the side where you put the sd card in is which radio wlan0 or wlan1?

See what I don't think you understand is that when you installed the forum using the public IP address rather than installing using the domain the forum has the IP address inside the SQL. I'm so confused as to how you're havign an issue if you have installed the forum in the the root folder all you need to do is run the install from the installer or install folder you shouldn't need a .htaccess because here's the thing it sounds like you ran the install to install the forum using the IP Address rather than using the domain let's say domain.com gave you a IP of 192.168.1.23 and you when to 192.168.1.23/install well durning your setup your install used the IP rather then the domain which is why you should've used yourdomain.com/install when your were installing the forum. The other thing you can do is check inside 2 places. 1. Mysql 2. Forum settings. and change the IP that is set to the domain you own. it will likely kick you out of the forum possibly give an error unless you delete the cookie in your browser after you change it.

for something like forums.hak5.org you need to make a folder called forums on your server then setup a subdomain to point to that folder I don't use domain.com or digitalocean I perfer ramnode because they offer a dns control panel where you simply you their name servers and it's a lot simpilar to use, but you need to setup a subdomain is what your trying to do.

I did see in the new Nethunter APK there appears to be an option for the WiFi Pineapple Connector App haven't got to try it yet but I did see it it the menu after I updated the app in the menu.

Make sure your connected to the wifi before your run the wp6.sh script anytime you connect to a new wifi you have to run the script and go through the guide unless it's a network you've connected to before.

As long as the laptop is connected to the NANO you should be able to use the internet the NANO is using. I've had no issues with using the internet my nano is sharing with a laptop and I don't use a 3rd adapter. if you're not able to get internet on your laptop that's connected to the NANO over wifi then their is an issue somewhere if you're using wifi that your tethering with your laptop's internet you need to use the wp6.sh Are you sure there isn't a problem with the internet the nano is connected to like maybe a internet outage? So i'm confused as to what you're using to tether are you tethering your android or laptop? If you're tethering your laptop you need to use the wp6.sh script obviously it sounds like you might have set the wrong settings maybe when you were using the wp6.sh script if your using linux.

Tethering WiFi does work with android you first need to connect to a wifi network and then make sure tethering is enabled for your android and make sure you connect the oem charger that for your android to your nano and the other end to your android and it should use the internet of the wifi your connected to. there is a video darren made showing how to tether with wifi if you already have the app downloaded and already setup the nano you can skip doing them 2 parts shown in the video but the steps used for setting up tethering is needed. I'm gonna be doing my own videos for the nano.

@Yvette what wireless adapter are you using also you might wanna double check the router is vulnerable to WPS.

So I left my "parents" basement even though I live in Florida and we don't have "basements" in Florida due to flooding... Anyways I must say I was pretty impressed with the first run NANO was only up for 13 minutes managed to get 11 devices to auto connect to the NANO with PineAP. Talking iPhones and Android devices were connecting to it while I was in a waiting lobby pretty cool seeing it work in the real world rather than seeing it from inside your bedroom. Attached a few screen shots.

I'm going with the nexus 6 because it's more in my price range if I had the money or could find a 32 GB Unlock nexus 6p I'd go with that one. I prefer the cloud white one myself but eh!

Normally with USB 3.0 drivers normally are required to be installed by the manufacturer of the motherboard at least all the computers I've built have needed me to install a 3.0 driver I believe microsoft installs all usb 2.0 drivers.

First i just wanna state that the hak5 tactical bundle is a really good deal I tried to beat hak5's tactical bundle at the time of this post I was unable to beat what you get from them for the price. They sell you a NANO, a pouch and a battery pack for $150 which is a fair deal in my honest opinion I spent possibly more alone of this little USB nub that connects the battery pack to the nano I paid $17 on amazon was a cheaper on on ebay for $5 however the seller was out till the 16th of Feb and he was in china so shipping would've taken forever. here's some screenshots of the stuff I bought extra from other places not as good as what hak5 sells but will hopefully do till hak5 sells this stuff later on. I ordered this case: http://www.ebay.com/itm/141776063630 and this battery pack: http://www.ebay.com/itm/331722638471 The case is a bit big for the nano so i had to cut a hole on the side on the case where it stretches at I simply aligned the antenna up and poked a hole in it then used scissors to help give room for the antenna to screw on and off :B

Which version of Windows 7 were you using I've noticed that I had issues with getting the Prolific 2303 drivers to install on Windows 7 starter Windows 7 Home and I believe Windows 7 Ultimate I've noticed drivers normally seem to install fine for Windows 7 Pro. I know the Prolific 2303 drivers are different im just using that as an example that I've had better luck with windows 7 pro when it comes to installing drivers. I no longer have a Windows 7 machine but i will set one up later today and test it with Windows 7 Pro.

Might wanna try using a USB 2.0 port maybe the NANO and the drivers don't work to well with 3.0 USB.
