uberprinnyakatux
Easiest: PHP Semi-Easy: C++ Moderate: VB-only cuz i was young and the teacher sucked in that class but may not be as hard as I think. Semi-Hard:Java Insanely, uber, leet, god-mode, hard:Assembler(?) or is it Assembly?
Burncycle
It depends on your definition of "easy". Intuitively easy? Simply easy? Clean-up-after-you-so-you-don't-have-to-worry-about-garbage-collection easy?

Solstice
Why does everyone keep saying English is simple... it's one of the most complex there is - with all the exceptions to rules and such. ^_^ Back to the original question it really depends on if you mean programming language or general computer language (like HTML - which is a markup language). To me the best simple programming language would be python, considering its functionality (I think I read somewhere that NASA uses it, lol). Sitwon
I don't believe how many people are calling C++ the "simplest" or "easiest" language. Either they're joking, or they don't really know C++ as well as they think they do. C++ is a lot of things, but "simple" isn't really one of them. Also, I agree with Solstice. English is one of the most complicated natural languages. Many Americans don't realize it because it's the only language they speak, but it is quite complex in comparison to most "foreign" languages (just ask any linguist). Simplest languages I know: Atari BASIC C Lua
