Garda
there are tubes! send me an internet on the tubes if you send me something on the internet the tubes will fill. there are lots of internets hahaha i'm sure you guys have probably seen it already but if you haven't http://blog.wired.com/27BStroke6/?entry_id=1512499 have a listen to the audio WTF!! there's one old grandpa who has absolutely no idea wtf the internet is, in charge of net neutrality and making laws that determine the future of the internet. Seriously, let somebody who has at least at some time used the internet and sent an email. I seriously recommend that you guys have a listen to that and come to the realisation that Ted Stevens is a stupid old moron and that politics in the US is EVEN more retarded than everywhere else in the world. metatron
Yeah, that guy is a fucking retard. We all have times when we say stupid things, but nothing he said was intelligent and he is in a position of power.

Sparda
People like this shouldn't be allowed to say what should and shouldn't happen to the Internet. Didn't Microsoft anounce some where that it is people like this that are the reason the Internet is swarming with worms? Not that I agree with that sentance of course. tabath
I would have thought there would also be a basic english test before you are allowed to take up public office. That guy is even worse than GWBjr
moonlit
That's the biggest display of ignorance and ineptitude I have encountered for some considerable time... I was aware that a portion of the population of this planet are not internet or tech savvy but that was quite frankly scary... Fine, if you aren't technical - great... if you're not up to date with the current technologies - great... Just don't force the world to follow what you think about something you don't know anything about. If you don't know shit about cars do you tell the world how they work? If you don't know anything about businesses do you pass laws on how how they should be governed? No. Why do it for 'the internets'?
Guest
I love how he equates sending 10 or 12 movies at a time with a whole book at a time. Although that's not as scary as the rest of his blathering. Yikes!

cooper
The write-up doesn't even _REMOTELY_ do justice to the actual voice recording that's linked to at the bottom of that article. The guy apparently has to say something, but clearly doesn't have even the tiniest figment of a clue. And the write-up shows that decently, but the audio... Jeez... Jigga-Zula
hmmm does anyone know if this guy wrote for the game Zero Wing? Ok so I wrote this peice of internet at 2:30 in the morning on tuesday. Now I wonder how long it's going to take before my message gets through the tubes to you guys. All those damn internet porno people are probably hogging all of the internet for themselves. It'll probably be saterday before it all gets through those damn tubes. Bedebedebede thats all folks.

sagaci0us3
there are tubes!send me an internet on the tubes if you send me something on the internet the tubes will fill. there are lots of internets . Ya,.. I just heard this on one of Leo's podcasts... Can you believe this?... People that are out of touch with technology are making laws to govern the future of the net with thier lobbing buddies. There seems to be much talk about this on the net, but for some reason our voice is not being heard. How do we organize better to actually get stuff done?
