  1. VaKo is right, but the iTunes music is DRM protected, and will not run without that machine.
  2. huh? my lame attempt at a donut joke.... just ignore it.
  3. Wasn't there a Hak.5 episode with for remote help as a Hak-Snack? As I recall it used BozTech's 1-click reverse VNC connection. I think that is a better idea than this, however this is a good idea for slower computers.
  4. Wouldn't you need to just spoof the browser, MAC, and get a valid IPhone number? If it doesn't check that there isn't more than one of you on, we could establish an IPhone number directory type system.
  5. I can't find it, but Moonlit created an Anti-USB application, that protects against USB based hacks. Just thought I would mention it, for future reference.
  6. Ooo, thanks! I only have one complaint: Thunderbird takes up too much ram for an old server machine. Other than that, it seems to be a good idea for server admins.
  7. You may notice that you can't use HTML in your signature. Anyways, welcome to Hak.5.
  8. Why would we need a portable w3af GUI? The console is a lot better, especially on linux. **off topic: spellcheck?**
  9. I recall reading an article on a website about u3. It said the encryption chip is restricted, and that if removed, the storage would be destoried because the encryption chip controls the writing and reading. In other words, break the chip, loose the data. In a theroy of mine, one could dump the encryption chip, and extract the contents, but you still need the encryption method. At any rate, all I can say is good luck.
  10. Try this mirror: EDIT: mirror removed because of outdated info. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DKCEB32B
  11. ...dude that would take forever to debug...pass... That language is lame, as I cant even create "hello world" without errors.
  12. First, try Firefox, I can download it fine with FF. If that fails, then check your AV settings.
  13. If you're referring to the wiki page on which the original AVKill was distributed, this "project" is long, long dead and I'd like it to stay that way. I no longer have the binary or source for the program and if I did I wouldn't be distributing it. It was just another antivirus killer, much like any other, and was only meant to show that it was easy to do and it was not meant to be used in the real world. Thank-you for the clarification, moonlit. I was just wondering about that, that is all.
  14. I wonder when we will get IBP...? That forum is hott!
  15. May I ask why the wiki page is gone missing?
  16. That may help with an app I'm making! Thanks!
  17. Just wondering, but, have you actually run the MD5 check? The files could be corrupted.
  18. I can watch that one just fine. Have you tried the video in another version of FF? Sometimes some versions have trouble, other times it doesn't. Have you updated your flash player?
  19. I may not know much about those RTables, but what is the error message given by 7-Zip? They may just be the tables, not archives, in which case you may consider looking into a program that can crack using those tables.
  20. Thank you for your input. :) I talked to one other guy who's already in the pen test business, and he mentioned python quite a while ago as well. Just visited the python site and it looks like it has a good tutorial. Think I'll head in that direction... :P I may also recommend c# for the Windows platform, and PHP for the web platform.
  21. I recall seeing a slideshow that had the fact: 90% of people's education about computers will be outdated by the time they graduate. I think the same thing can be said about this.
  22. This is cool: http://i27.tinypic.com/19ozdd.gif[/img]
  23. Many thanks, K1u No problem. I will post more tutorials, the new board needs topics :D Yay! More tutorials! Thanks again!
  24. Is it me? or is the picture moving? This thing is cool! Where did you get it?
