  10. How useful, I'm starting the scan now. I'll post the results in 7 minutes Edit: Results for your host (*********.hsd1.co.comcast.net): Is BitTorrent traffic on a well-known BitTorrent port (6881) throttled? * 2 out of 2 BitTorrent transfers were interrupted while uploading (seeding) using forged TCP RST packets. It seems like your ISP hinders you from uploading BitTorrent traffic to our test server. * The BitTorrent download worked. Our tool was successful in downloading data using the BitTorrent protocol. * There's no indication that your ISP rate limits your BitTorrent downloads. In our tests a TCP download achieved minimal 369 Kbps while a BitTorrent download achieved maximal 531 Kbps. You can find details here. Is BitTorrent traffic on a non-standard BitTorrent port (4711) throttled? * 2 out of 2 BitTorrent transfers were interrupted while uploading (seeding) using forged TCP RST packets. Punishment?

Yes, that's why my first post, and a number of posts concerned the issue at hand. Which obviously you don't remember, but the question was what are the consequences of his mischief. I answered his question to the best of my ability, and then I gave him/others the best advice I can give regarding the subject of "Hacking school computers". We are merely discussing what should be done with these type of situations. Hacking school computers often seems like a real cool way to impress your friends and prove your 1337ness, but in reality it is just a good way to get in trouble, and make more work for your IT dept. SomeoneE1se, you are right, you should be careful how you approach these situations. For the most part, as long as you explain the way you found said exploit, chances are they will be ok with it (some exceptions apply). Just don't say "I tried to install the exploit, and it worked." unless you want to end up with no computer privileges during the semester.
  12. Speak for yourself, I was born a hacker. 8) They say that tomb coded himself from nothing. Tomb, could you please send me the source code?? I want a clone xD
  13. I have one, but I dont post often... It is kinda boring after a while. I will update today... http://twitter.com/nicatronTg
  14. agreed, this is completly unacceptable! Yeah so fuck his retirement! He needs to go back to work to fix Vista's best guess as copy/move time. Another reason why Windows Vista should have been put into the "pointless OSs" bin. I would rather have a copy of Neptune than the crap Microsoft calls it's "most secure operating system". </rant>
  15. I agree in the since that "we all didn't just appear to the world as hackers" is a true statement. :-? I believe that telling someone that the answer is in google is better than saying "GTFO F*KIN N00B!!!". This thread inspires me. /me requests this thread to be stickied... as a reminder.
  16. I am looking for a free good ordered books site. I remember once there was one that sent you older novels. That would be a good idea. We could catalog all of the old hacker and hardware in a easy to find database - free of charge..
  17. Everything is fine, except one thing: the hacks. I would like to see more mods that a person with a lower budget could handle, or else more toaster mods.
  18. I was forced to when my flat panel fell off my desk... I was never the same, except when it came to forum posting.
  19. exactly i think i need a blog As a recommendation, try word press http://wordpress.com/. If you feel up to it, you could also twitter it.
