Yeah, actually I did consider that, I myself could not find any drivers anywhere for XP, I did see them around on different sites for windows 98 2000 and earlier, but not xp. It seems to me that would actually fix the problem, I had a similar problem in the past with my regualr monitors when I was hooking it up to the television, and after I upgraded the video card driver, it fixed the issue. But again, I have not found any drivers for this monitor for Windows XP. I don't think they exist.

-HELP NEEDED PLEASE- I have 2 Hitachi CM2112MU 1G (Intergraph 21sd107) 21" monitors with 13W3 female ports on them. I found these in the trash, and thought it would be great if I could use these instead of my regular 17" inchers. I could not find much info on them, but through looking in different forums, I came to the conclusion that all I would need to make them work with my PC would be a 13W3 Male to HD15 Male (13W3 to VGA) connector/cable. I found 2 of these cables on Ebay dirt cheap, but of course paid a fortune for shipping, so really did not save that much. Anyway, the cables just with the direct connection does not seem to work. The monitors do work, I know this, but it gives an "Invalid Sync" error on the screen. So evidently just giving this "direct-connection" is not going to cut it. I tried every setting that I could find or think of in the settings of my video card settings, and I have the most up to date driver for the video card. I was told these monitors are actually for Sun/Unix systems, maybe even macs, but at the same time I was told that they would work with a pc, as long as I used the conversion cable, like I did. Now on the web, I have also seen these same cables (13W3 Male to HD15 Male) or (13W3 to VGA) with jumpers on the plugs as well, but I cannot find what they really do, and I can't really find the answers. I am a schooled Electronics Tech/Pc Tech, but this exact thing is new to me, and I don't really understand a whole lot about sync issues with monitors and such. Normally I hook 2 17" monitors and my 36" Television up to my NVidia GeForce4 Ti 4200 AGP Video Card, and that all works fine, but again this direct connection to these 2 Hitachi CM2112MU's with the 13W3 Male to HD15 Male cables just wont work. I can actually make out the windows boot up screen flashing on by the screens on boot up, but they just wont fix. On the 13W3 to VGA cable, on the HD15 Male side, I notice that all of the pins are present, where with your normal kind of vga HD15 plug there are a few pins missing. Does anyone out there know if there is any settings within Windows or the NVidia Control Panel that can correct the sync thingy going on here, or would it work if I cut some pins off, or maybe even cut the HD15 plug open and re-wire some of the actual wires in there? I hope some one reading this knows their stuff and knows exactly what I am talking about. These monitors are not only big and sweet, but they were free. It would be great if I could get them to work. And again, they do work. How can I fix this problem?
