  2. Oh man, the only thing that made me laugh was at the very end of the strory "Lisa is Blonde". That alone says it all. ROFL
  3. It was a great episode. But I was a it was a bummer to find out that non of their names were the same in the show. Except dave which is the best character evar!! But I fully enjoyed that episode.
  4. Slap a picutre of Bill Gates above the vibrator selection.
  5. Don't let your parents see what you bought, be a hacker/ninja.
  6. Madkat Wrote: You did the right thing dude, chicks that do that should be treated like crap then lit on fire. But thats just my feelings on the subject.
  7. ZOMG the G80 pwns so hard. I would get it but i don't have like $600
  8. When it refers to a technology-related illness, I respectfully disagree. RSI is bit in IT. Having someone explain the issue as well as a quick test to see if you should worry is invaluable. It's a shame so few people see it as such. Thats right cooper, you tell them.
  9. Wow, i can't believe some of you feel this way. I thought ep 4 was good. Helped me figure out that I have a bad case of Tendonitus. And on top it was early. If it matters at all daren, i like the show and the direction you guys are taking it in. Keep it up. It could be worse, they could suddenly just stop making it with out telling anyone like the "from the shows" people did. They just randomly stopped after 6 episodes. HACK THE PLANET
  10. oh man Vida Guerra is hot, you know... she's my wife, she just don't know it yet. Computer_kid, your wallpaper pwns. where did you get it? where you there when the shuttle took off?
  11. Myspace is the whore of the internet. Everyone is on myspace.
  12. In my experiance I have seen that three times on my ipod, and for me it wasn't good. In my case, the hard drive on my ipod died. Do you hear a clicking comming from the ipod?? If you do that means that the hard drive is on it's way out. Or it might mean that a file is corrupt on the drive. When That happened to mine, i had to get it serviced at a bestbuy near my house. Not a good time.
  13. I'm still trying to get my list of linux apps up, so I was wondering if you gus would mind posting any of your favorite Linux apps, as many as you want, and if you could put a smal description of what it does. I'm just looking for anything to install on my laptop. I want to ass more functionality to my laptop. thnx. I'll put mine just to start Ethereal (Network Sniffer :D ) Azureus (Bittorrent Client) Opera (Just incase I get Tired of Firefox) Xchat (IRC FTW)
  14. i was hearing some weird stuff about how IE7 was giving some people problems. I think it may have to do with your copy of windows, is it a pirate copy? If so then try to find a real one or try to get a crack to pass that WGA crap. But really IE7? Just stick to the ones that work like Firefox and Opera.
  15. I'm going to have a field day with these :D
  16. Oh man i rmember using Ndiswrapper for my laptop. I had to get the wifi working. Good luck man, ndiswrapper is not a fun tool to play with.

  19. wow, i like the stories that i'm reading. I think it's cool how you guys got to use Linux. And i think it's even better how ya'll still using it, i mean i still use windows to play some games but for the most part i'm going to be using Linux. Tux ftw.
  20. I Gotta keep it clean and Represent!
  21. I was just wondering where everyone first had their own personal experiance with Linux. Any story that you may have on where or when you first used it, My own personal story is this: I was always a windows person. I'm only 18 so I really haven't been around to long lol. I mean my family never really had much money so when we got a PC it had windows 98 on it (Gateway was uber pwnage back then). So fastforward 10 or so years and I find myself getting tired of Windows and all that Mr.Gates has to offer. So a buddy of mine was telling me that we should go to Defcon 14 when I get outta Highschool. So I said why not. Hacking, geeks, and Las Vegas, it's going to be the best 3 days EVAR!!! I had already known about Linux for some time but never really given it a chance. I had always herd the rumors about how hard it was to install and that. So it's August 2006 and I find myself in Las Vegas, Nevada at Defcon 14 (it's was awesome btw :D ). And my friend who is a systems Admin is calling me a noob cause all I use is Windows. He showed my his laptop running Fedora 5. I was like "It looks a little plain doesn't it?" He told me that I was going to be the only one there using Windows, I was like "Yeah, w/e windows pwns". When I got down there i was freaking blown away that everyone and there mothers had a laptop with some form of Linux. Even the ipods were running a Linux distro. The next morning I woke up for another day of Defcon and when I turned my Notebook on I freaked when I saw an Ubuntu splash screen. I was so mad at my friends that I woke his ass up with a splash of ice water. But he had backed up all my stuf just incase i wanted to put windows back on. From that point on I forced myslef to use Linux and I hav been a happy camper ever since. While at Defcon i picked up alot of cool apps to get and cool ways to configure and customize Linux to fit me. Well thats my story, I hope to comeback soon and read all of your stories. I'm actually interested to see where you guys learned your stuff and how it all happens. :P
  22. I'm running Ubuntu on my Dell E1405 and I like. Like most people it has given me some problems but non that are too bad. For one thing it didn't detect my wireless card so i spend a good amount of time messing with NdisWrapper...not fun at all. And when I finally get it working a Kernel update is released and breakes it again rofl. After that I just edited GRUB so that it boots the old Kernel. I'm too lazy to just run all the commands again. But other than that I have gotten everything i need on Ubuntu and it's cool because for the moment it's replacing my desktop. Only problem is i can't play CS or WOW. But oh well.
