I've got a similar spec laptop but mines a 2.0 ghz 64bit. First thing I would do it throw at least a gig of ram in there. That way you'll have no difficulties whatsoever running firefox, winamp, irc and few other apps all at the same time without any problems. Gaming will be a bit more dificult but if you set the specs of all the games you want to play to low res and turn off detailed shading and any other extra stuf, you should be ok.

Try the clock mod. I would just turn the hd into some sort of center piece/hardware art. LEDs, plexy window, the works. Just nuts, if you mess up so what? It was dead anyway.

I'm a fan of blue so I would like to see the cityscape up there as well.

Bush believes he's leading the would into a new era of freedom. In truth, he's leading us into a dark oblivion. I'm actually scared now. I'm actually scared for the future of the 300 millionish people who call the USA their home. I'm in fear of the retailiations by other nations caused by our moronic president and congress. What will be accomplished by giving Bush the power to decide what is torture, to give him that much more power? We will fall to the same level as the rebel groups in Afaganistan who cut off people's heads with dull swords. And it was all for what? For republicans to get re-elected? For the government to stay in southen hick control? It's time for a revolt to occur. It's time for the people of this great country to stand up and say no, we will not let this shit occur. Not here, not now, not ever. If the great majority of people distrust Bush so much, then kick his ass out of office and shoot him on the white house lawn. Hang his body for all republicans and democrates to see. All for one purpose: We elect you to do the right thing for this country, for the world. To listen to what the people who put you there want done and do so. To uphold their beliefs. But if you fall out of line, you will be taken out. Politically and physically. Looks good, but I must detest the yellow color. But that's just me. Next case mod I do with fresh box is a logo dremmeled into the side to create a custom logo-window. Not sure what logo just yet, nor do I have a fresh case to mod, but it's an idea.

A topic closely related to this was discussed not too long ago but I do remember someone mentioning that if you wish to mess around with school networks, simply set up a meeting with the admins and ask for permission to do so with their supervision. I'm sure manuel_l would agree with me here. Be professional about it and I'm sure they'll like the opportunity to see someone try to break their system so that they may make it stronger in the end. You get to test your knowledge and skills, they get to tell their boss that they had a 'specialist' come in and approve of their network security precautions. Everyone wins.

I can't wait for this to be implemented into the switchblade. Having a device that would not only grab the lm hash and other passwords, but also kill the av so you could easily install/infect anything you wanted without anyone knowing. All with just the insertion of a thumbdrive. This could be a very bad thing in the wrong hands. :twisted:

That's what I was thinking, having two different sections of the case. The front being where the fish would be with the second section behind it. That's just neat but I don't like how tall the case is.

I've been doing the same for a while now but have yet to find any really. The ones in which I have found were rather, poor. In both content and quality. I understand how not everyone can afford great-quality video equipment but these looked as though they were done on Hi8 film. I do wish that From the Shadows would come back, I did enjoy their beer-making segment. Hmmmm.... beer.

That would be an awesome thing to have. Usually towers are shoved under a table or desk because of their ulgyness (is that a word?). Having a fish-tank case would be the center of attention for an office. I may build one of these over x-mas break. Cool project and the finished product would be just beautiful.
