  1. Doin' it for the Louise! :) You have GOT to love int0x80's integration of massive amounts of 4chan content into the presentation. Kept me VERY entertained AND, as always, learned a LOT of great info from our friend and fellow /b/tard
  2. Barring any hardware issues (USB drive has gone wonky), those symptoms sound like an inadequate power issue. Try plugging in power with the provided power adapter and see if the problem goes away. If you're already doing so, perhaps the power supply itself has gone tits up, and try a new one?
  3. NICELY DONE!! Indeed, let's keep the Ducky alive!! Thanks snake!!
  4. <eastbloc accent> "How much for the litt....</eastbloc accent> er...nevermind... ;) As indicated, Dishonored awaited my arrival yesterday evening. Promptly put it in and was pleasantly impressed. It's like Assassin's Creed and Bioshock had a beautiful love child whom they named Dishonored. :) Appears to have lots of Bioshock-esque gadgets and artwork and a pretty engaging story line. Seriously, it's pretty cool so far, but admittedly I spent more time trying to figure out why my Amazon "Backstreet Butcher Pack" DLC download wouldn't appear in the game than I did playing the game. Still never figured it out. The code worked, I downloaded the bonus pack. I see it in system/storage/Games/Dishonored...it's right there. But I can't for the life of me figure out why my character doesn't get the bonuses, and enabling it appears nowhere in the game. Frustrating. Nonetheless, going to spend some quality time with the game tonight.and report back with some details. Lots of good times ahead!! **Update** For those who got the Amazon pre-order DLC "Backstreet Butcher Pack", don't despair! The bonuses show up after you meet "The Outsider" and spend a night in your room in the pub. The items and bonuses show up on the table :) Enjoying this game for sure, and needed to take a break from BL2. The only thing I'm not quite sure I like is the objectives/tasks system. It seems that there is no local map, and no way to pick, say, an optional objective and just pursue it (like you would in Borderlands, Skyrim, Fallout, etc). You can select/deselect them, but nothing really changes...you still have a floating white arrow on your screen indicating the same location, despite what objectives you choose to show/not show. Otherwise, the game is very intriguing. Lots of sneaking around. LOTS. And there are some unique powers that you can obtain through the rune system. Many of the games mechanics have a familiar feeling in one way or another, and that's a good thing. I hope others are enjoying this game as much as I am. The artwork is great, the gameplay is great, and it's engrossing. I am a HUGE fan of Bioshock, so the art appeals to me a lot. It's really like a love child of Bioshock, Assassins Creed, and Skyrim. If you're a fan of any or all of these games, you're sure to like Dishonored.

    Radar Jammer

I'm very happy about Lidar, because it's easy to jam with the right gear. I've actually got the ZR4 Shifter Barry linked to (smart-wired to my Escort 9500ix), but I only use it for detection anymore because I've installed a Laser Interceptor HP Quad to handle the real dirty work. The ZR4 isn't all that great, and the punch through rate is far too high for what it costs. It does work, but....meh. when you spend that kind of bread, you should expect it to do the job. It does...barely, and not good enough for me. ;) It does integrate really nicely with the 9500ix though, so it's got that going for it. The Laser Interceptor Quad, however, is nothing short of amazing, and there is NO punch through with a properly installed system. I get FULL Jam-to-Gun and FULL Jam-from-Gun at all speeds. It's absolutely brilliant. It's great fun to watch cops scratch their heads as you drive by. The trick with *real* laser jamming is to jam only until you've reduced your speed to legal limit, then turn the jammer off. I love it, and it's 100% worth the investment if you tend to "push the limits" occasionally....or more often ;)
  6. Indeed, Amazon is brilliant! With pre-order games on Prime, you get them ON release day! For instance, Dishonored release day is today, 10/9, and when I get home from work, it will be awaiting me on my doorstep. :) Clever bastards have figured out how to get me to buy EVERYTHING from them! :)
  7. LULZ! Exactly, well put!! I'm at level 22 right now and it's getting a little old, the break will be good. :) I haz Prime! It's a blessing and a curse...I spend WAAAAY too much money at Amazon. Those evil bastards have made it far too easy to buy stuff....but I love 'em! :)
  8. Lamb of God Megadeth Led Zeppelin Tool Pink Floyd Black Crowes Various Guitar Gods: Marty Friedman, Jimi, Ritchie Kotzen, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Yingwie, Vinnie Moore, etc :)
  9. "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin Far from being "anti-American", pwn2pwner's concerns are entirely valid, and I would further suggest that in this case they are the same concerns that any PRO-American *should* have when they hear their President and his hand-picked administration are contemplating violating MORE God-given rights of American citizens under the guise of "safety from turriss". The Nanny State has GOT to stop. If law enforcement can't do their job without infringing upon the 4th amendment and squashing the 1st amendment, then perhaps it's time for some in law enforcement to get out of the business altogether. Too bad about the pissing match...this thread has some potential. Let's keep it civil.
  10. Oh man, sometimes work is soooo booooring!! :) :) :)
  11. mmmmmmmmm...Dishonored shipped today to arrive tomorrow!! W000!! Man, i love Amazon. :) I need a break from BL2 anyhow...sooo all-consuming :)
  12. Thanks for the news Snubsie!!! Time for teh_pwner and FPS Doug to pwn some noobz on the big screen!!! Donated!!!!!1!!!111!!!!
  13. Huge Borderlands fan, got Borderlands 2 the other day and haven't put it down. Looking forward to Dishonored for sure! Forza Horizon is out here in about 3 weeks...should be as amazing as every other Forza game. Also can't wait for South Park: The Stick of Truth in Q1 2013!!! W00000000000!!! :) :) :) (huge SP fan here! ;)) Also contemplating Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse (again, huge FG fan)
  14. ahaha! that's hilarious and clever! Can't wait to give this a try (and add a few of my own "risque" additions!), gonna be good for some serious laughs, thanks!
  15. The consequences will never be the same...
  16. I just have some pretty standard stuff. I imagine about anyone with a 1GB switch on the LAN, a standard b/g WiFi on the LAN, and a decent Internet connection would be happy. For the Roku2 XS, it's connected via a typical b/g router (though that Roku model has the RJ45 capability). For the LAN, it's local 1GB LAN speeds For the WAN, I have 24down/5up (it doesn't use but a fraction of that, however) The Roku2 XS does a great job of streaming HD quality video. I've got 2 of them actually, and when they're both in use streaming HD vid, I still have all kinds of headroom left on the WAN for doing whatever. TVersity is pure LAN (provides a Media Center Server), so it does it's thing with ease. Subsonic is pure WAN (provides a web page and/or mobile clients) converts all it's video to "flash" and uses "jwplayer" which is integrated to the webpage as well as the mobile clients.. Very easy on the bandwidth. All in all, I have to say it's perfect for my uses. I have 5-6 friends who use it plenty, many of us stream audio all day long at work via Subsonic. Easy to maintain, rock solid performance, and they both reference the same data collection. Definitely worth looking into if you have a lot of digital content. The price is definitely right, and honestly you don't have to have a ton of b/w to make it all work. Subsonic takes literally 5 minutes to install and have ready to go. TVersity takes maybe 10 minutes + the time to generate the catalogs. Roku2 XS (top of the line) = $99 Subsonic = $10 for a lifetime registration (mobile client is free - $3, depending on what the device is) - use for streaming to the WAN (web page, etc) TVersity = $20 for a major revision (I haven't updated in years, still works great) - use for streaming to Xbox360/PS3 I have giant tubs of DVDs (I was an avid collector) that are now sitting in the basement. ;)
  17. Heya peterfm, I just got a new Evo V. Previous HTC phones (tbolt, incredible, etc) all supported flash straight away. On this new Evo V I had to open the browser, go into settings, and actually select to enable Flash. Never had to do that before on any other Android phone, but this one is from VM, and previously were all from Verizon. Even checked my tbolt and indeed there is no "enable flash" option, it just was. May be the same on your LG phone and you actually have to enable it in the browser settings, give it a look if you haven't already. Can't imagine they'd completely disable flash, otherwise it'd be no more useful browsing net than an iPhone! :P And thanks again for this very fun module!!! Life's just crazy busy right now and time's at a premium, but damn it I've got to make some more time to have fun with my MKIV!!
  18. I have a Roku2 XS (the $99 one) that I use to watch Hak5 on the "Revision 3" channel streamed from the Internet to my home entertainment system (50" HDTV, etc) Indeed, couch potato watching Hak5 is glorious! :) The Roku2 device is really amazing for the price. For my own stored media, I have ~14TB of audio/video spread across 7 2TB drives. On my LAN, I stream to my 360/PS3 using TVersity. It's flawless and awesome. I prefer the PS3 for this function, but they both work. For WAN access, I stream the same data using Subsonic. The Subsonic client is available for everything Android, even my Kindle Fire, as well as a web browser, and it all works perfectly. So easy to setup. Both TVersity and Subsonic live on the same PC happily.
  19. Outstanding! My 2nd Pi arrives tomorrow and can't wait to give this a workout! Thanks for all your efforts! Also agree with hoping for an airdrop-ng....or better yet, how about some MDK3? :) Thanks again, I know where my weekend is going! :)
  20. That isn't haiku. Here's some proper haiku: Windows 8 is like Windows ME two point oh Redmond, time stands still or Kindergarten days Colored blocks for little kids Windows 8 Metro or Aggravation fee Gouge me for the same old shit Gates is filthy rich :P
  21. We do have a few *actual* wizards around here for sure...MrP is modest. :) I LOLd for real when I saw that OP supplemented the issue with that pic. :) "Ok..what did the cursor actually look like? What shape was it?" "Can you prove there were no other words, just a cursor?" "YOU GOT THE YELLOW CURSOR?!?! OH NO, MAN, THAT IS THE WORS...er...wait, it was green? PHEW!!" Nevermind me...been spending too much time on TheOatmeal today...that, and I'm borderline insane with sleep deprivation and working waaaay too damn hard. :) Glad you got your issue sorted. :)
  22. I just got my RP confirmation code to order today, which I promptly did, with all the trimmings!!! w000000!!!!! Can't wait to get it...though they're saying it won't ship for about 9 weeks! arrrrg!!
  23. Fixed 'er up for ya. :) I've seen all of the above just from a single coffee shop/cafe drop. Depending on your expectations and target environment, Jasager/Karma is as effective now as it ever was. Sure, you may not capture a few Win7 machines, and if that's all that you're targeting, then you've got some extra work to do in order to get them to connect...limited only by your imagination. As another poster pointed out, coupled with the ability to change the SSID, I find there is no shortage of sheeple and hipsters who will blissfully connect to our tasty, forbidden fruit, entirely unaware of the MitM. :)
  24. *Paging Whistle Master, line one please...Whistle Master, line one.* :) Great stuff Darren! Love your visionary hackage! :)
  25. Module Master for the win!! :) I'm just blown away at how amazing and polished the MK4 has become, you clever, talented bastards are just brilliant!! :) I've been away for a while, haven't seen anything past 1.1.0 until today (my new NHA's came today too!) and what a shock! Upgraded my MK4's and I'm nearly speechless, I'm so excited to jump back into the fray and look at all our sweet new tools and goodies!!! Can't thank you guys enough, this is really beyond any expectation I had for this project...absolutely brilliant!! Now...off to update my BT5 R1 installs! (yeah, it's been that long :) )
