What format are you typing the Mac in? It should be in the format 00:11:22:33:44:55 Best regards, Sebkinne

Fixed.

Sorry about that! Best Regards, Sebkinne

If you are having this issue, there is a good change re-formatting the card can fix the issue. Follow the "Unbricking a bricked WiFi Pineapple MKV" instructions here. Then when the firmware is up and running, navigate to the "Resources" infusions, click on the "USB" tab and then click "format SD card". Best Regards, Sebkinne

The WPS large tile, when you click on the title of the wps infusion, a bigger window should pop up. There you should be able to install reaver. But this will fail as our site is currently down.

This is normal. You will need to open the large tile and install the dependencies that way. Edit: As our website is currently down, the package repository is too. Please bear with us while we get this sorted out. Best Regards, Sebkinne

Hey everyone, Some of you have probably noticed that WiFiPineapple.com is currently down. This has some pretty undesirable Side Effects such as saying your WiFi Pineapple is offline, no access to infusions, no access to packages, and no access to our 1.2.0 firmware which we launched last night. I just wanted to assure you all that we will have the servers up and running as soon as we sort out the issue with the hosting provider. Best Regards, Sebkinne

You are trying to put a sixaxis controller on a Pineapple? Why?

Hey everyone, While we did just release firmware 1.1.1, we had reports that mobile broadband modems which worked in the 1.0.4 firmware stopped working entirely in firmwares 1.1.0+. This issue has now been fixed! This 1.2.0 release also incorporates a lot of fixes and suggestions reported to us using our bug tracker. We'd like to take this opportunity to encourage anyone that discovers a bug or has a feature suggestion to let us know there. This way we can keep track of issues easily and update you on our progress. We also added a few more webinterface API functions for our module developers. If you are interested in making an infusion but don't know where to start, check out our wiki! Changelog: Mobile BroadbandThe detection (and functionality) of mobile broadband modems which broke in firmware 1.1.0 has been fixed. General stability of mobile broadband modems has been improved. KarmaIt is now possible to change Karma's log location. This can be done by specifying the desired directory (eg /sd/) in the file /etc/pineapple/karma_log_location. The above will be possible through the webinterface within the next day or two. API ChangesAdded functions to install and check for installed packages. This should allow for easier installation of dependencies: "install_package()" and "check_package()". Added functions to check the current pineapple and require a specific minimum version: "get_pineapple_version()" and "require_pineapple_version()". Security FixesChanged the way we protected the /pineapple/ directory to allow for symlinks within /www/. Fixed some small load issues. MiscFixed vFat mounting. Updated all system infusions to the latest available versions. Download: Over the air through the web-interface. (alternatively at https://wifipineapple.com?downloads) MD5: 601d6baa2664fd465d401c42b0696ea1 Note: To flash this over the web-interface, please make sure your info tile is at it's latest version. As usual, please leave any feedback in this thread. Bugs, suggestions can also (and should be) be left here. We hope you enjoy this release! -The WiFi Pineapple Team

It's already reported as a bug and we will get to it soon. Best Regards, Sebkinne

Client Mode join resets wlan0 and does not connect wlan1
Sebkinne replied to The Bunny Man's topic in WiFi Pineapple Mark V
Resetting wlan0 is expected. You should only drop for a second or two. I just pushed an update to the WiFi Pineapple Bar fixing your password issues. Best regards, Sebkinne -
I do, yes. It's out protective mechanism. I'll see if it is a real issue or a pathing issue. Would you open a bug report detailing your issue? That helps us keep track of things. Best Regards, Sebkinne

The "Get" infusion. The developer will have to update it. Best Regards, Sebkinne

No! It's important to have the rw! Add it before that. I'll post an example when I'm back at a computer, but just Google ssd discard and you'll get examples. Best regards, Sebkinne

SSD tweaks are super important for the health of the SSD. Check this out. Best Regards, Sebkinne

What happened to 001? (Dip Switches)
Sebkinne replied to infinitedaemon's topic in WiFi Pineapple Mark V
Absolutely. That combination is reserved to perform a factory reset. Simply put the DIP switches into the 10011 position and boot up. This will factory reset your WiFi Pineapple MKV. For more information, please see page the troubleshooting section of the booklet (page 18). Best Regards, Sebkinne -
There is an issue with the way you created the .tar.gz file. The smser folder should be called "smser" and not "smser-2.3" :) As the WiFi Pineapple Bar searches for a folder called "smser", the install process fails. This is odd, but unrelated to the SMSer issue. Until Newbi3 fixes the issue with his .tar.gz file, it will be unavailable to download. Best Regards, Sebkinne

I'm quite certain we didn't do anything to break modeswitching. Could it be a different issue?

Are you running as root?

It works just fine for me and / or anyone that I have spoken to. Restart the Pineapple, clear your browser cache and try again! Best Regards, Sebkinne

If all LEDs light up, that is a bad sign. Make sure all DIP switches are in the UP position. If they already are, I suggest you try following our new unbricking instructions. If it isn't a hardware failure, this will sort you out. Best Regards, Sebkinne

Instead of using nodogsplash, you should use uhttpd. Take a look at /etc/config/uhttpd. Best regards, Sebkinne

I'm sorry you are having these issues. It seems like something strange has happened to your filesystem. I suggest you factory reset your WiFi Pineapple MKV. If this still causes issues, you'll have to re-flash. You can do this by following any of the directions here. Best Regards, Sebkinne
