  1. Depends what you want to do with them ? Research the differences between them and see what best suits. Do you need range? Do you need speed? Do you need driver compatibility with Linux/Mac/Windows? I own the ACH and it's drivers don't work very well with many Linux distros (including Kali/Debian), and it seems to not work very well with my Windows machine either (swapped to cable anyway so I'm not too fussed).
  2. Oh. Well, I mean you're basically just making an agent. Why not make an agent that listens on a specific port so when you access that port over the internet you get a webpage where you can pass keyboard input and stuff?
  3. So how will you tell the PC to call the batch file to look for the USB drive named "DUCK"?
  4. I was also going to suggest UniFi for outdoor stuff, but if he only wants to do it because he has that AP lying around doing nothing then he wouldn't be willing to buy anything else, unless it was special coating.
  5. I have one myself (bought fairly recently). Haven't done too much with it yet as to being so busy, but I would like to solder some buttons on it (or switches) and a USB type-a head so I don't need to carry around a cable with it (a "normal" USB). The buttons would toggle services and payloads. Examples are SSH, WiFi hotspot, web server for management, VPN etc. Basically an all-in-one USB for everything with a few button taps on the side of the USB itself. Still in the process of building my web server though - PHP is great. ?
  6. Good phones - even though they're Chinese. I have Oneplus 5T ? 8GB RAM, 128GB storage. More than my laptop.. Currently running SQL, PHP and lighttpd servers to host my own little database of tutorials, videos, music etc. etc. It's basically a pocket NAS that can quickly run my own custom website with a click of a button ? No Nethunter though, sadly. Haven't rooted it yet either.
  7. Hoi! So, I've been looking more into PHP and I'm really into the idea of integrating webpages and server code. Obviously, possibilites are quite endless, but I'm more into the idea of configuring and executing from a webpage. For example, if I ran a website on a Pi (or even my phone) then I could have buttons on the website that did things like change the IP of the device, launch an app or a service and view RAM/CPU usage. The fun stuff. So I really want to get into some fast-learning-curve PHP applications but not sure where to start. I've been having a look around for lightweight frameworks (I prefer lightweight so it can run on minimal resources smoothly) but many seem too hard for the time I have on my hands. I'm kinda learning in-between day-to-day work, so nothing "wall-of-texty". ? Anyone got any recommendations or even example code of where I could get started? I know some readers may cry when they read that I have had minimal dealings with PHP...I've edited it before (more specifically, edited HTML embedded in it, ha), but I've never written it from scratch.
  8. Check the captive portal's code and see if it's not already redirecting you somewhere, then either edit that or remove it and create your own redirect. Also, iOS devices might already treat submit buttons on specific portals as "captive.apple.com" redirects as a native thing. I'm not sure - it would be silly but that's what Apple likes doing, unfortunately. They love limiting stuff on their devices.
  9. I don't think any of your replies are related to the OP's actual question, haha.
  10. ? "Honey, wanna go for a drive with the kids?" *You look at the back of your car..* "Can't, got no room." "Why not?!" "Well, if I removed it all and we went for a drive what happens if we find ourselves facing a dud network cable? Or an open WiFi? OR A PC WITH MILLIONS OF DOLLARS' WORTH OF BITCOIN ON IT? WHAT THEN?" "...Just get the stuff out of the car!" "Fooooiiiiiine. But we all know who to blame if we meet someone with a network issue and I don't have any tools for it."
  11. Where did you put your PineAP? Cafe/restaurant? Yeah, 4G networks are pretty fast these days and I've got a decent data plan so I never need to connect to anything if I'm out and about - never did it before that either, for obvious reasons. If I'm out at at cafe or something and glance at all the SSIDs nearby it's quite suspicious to see multiple SSIDs saying different names of the same place, like: "**** Free WiFi", "**** FREE WI-FI" etc. That's when you have a look around you, see if anyone's got a box hiding near their bag or on the desk or somewhere. Or you could do a cheeky deauth and troll him.
  12. Yeah, I know my bag is getting a bit too full. It's a this-would-be-really-useful-but-the-scenario-that-it's-useful-in-only-happens-twice-in-a-lifetime scenario, but I don't want to remove them from my bag ?
  13. I was referring to the adapter he had with the NanoPi. I originally thought it was on the NanoPi board, but he says it's an external one.
  14. No, no, I was just making a general comment about the device. Since it's an 8812au you might have some issues with drivers and monitor mode.. Anyway, I'm thinking of buying a pi0w and converting it to a USB stick with some external buttons/switch and maybe even LCD display on it. Could be used for just about anything - portable VPN, HID injector, key logger, portable router, WiFi AP that gets it's power over USB, packet injector, key/network sniffer etc. etc. Switch 1/Button 1 causes it to boot into OpenWRT (or other router/AP software) so you can do a portable router/AP Switch 2/Button 2 causes it to boot into a HID injection machine with remote access (SSH into it or whatever from your phone and inject away) Switch 3/Button 3 causes it to be a dummy USB storage device Switch 4/Button 4 causes it to be a PC with network and stuff (just as a second machine separated from your host) Switch 5/Button 5 causes it to act as a quick plug-and-play VPN And whatever else..
  15. Chipset's an RTL8812au, same as the AWUS036ACH. Incompatible with Kali? ?
  16. Debatable. Most people like ham. But then again, a lot of people prefer bacon so that may be the better option. Have to be a lot of bacon. A-lot of bacon. Just as a side note - you're Wigle widget is really bugging me. Shouldn't it say "SSIDs found: 434,812", not "WiFi Found: 434,812"? Seems English dodgy..
  17. When people say "5 GHz" they mean everything in the range of 5.1 -> 5.8 (specifically, for the US it's 5170-5835) for WLAN. That's why it's unspecified and rounded to 5 GHz. Most drones (and some RC cars) use 5.8 GHz, or 2.4 GHz. I assume it's for the range. We specify 2.4 GHz because it's only the 2400 MHz range that we use for WLAN. Not sure what they are exactly for Australia.
  18. Yo whut?! $20k+ USD for a drone jammer.. How, in any world, is that worth to say "Ha, nice drone, kid. Shame it's been grounded!" (not that I would say that in the first place). I mean, if you really, REALLY wanted to make sure no one could see anything in a radius, including with drones, then maybe..
  19. Process of elimination - just get another OTG. You can pick some up for like $1 online, or maybe get one from the local store? Should be <$5.
  20. Apparently Fortnite for mobile is great, but I don't have any compatible iOS devices to try it. Who buys iOS for personal use. Pfft. Cross-platform with PC and PS4 though..
  21. I think he means the "OG" Halos were created by Bungie, in which I agree ? It's interesting because I was just looking into El Dewrito yesterday - but found you needed an existing install of Halo to play it anyway, sadly. ?
  22. Depends on the theme your using, generally. My WP sites use dates in the name of the image to separate instances of them (edited versions, later-uploaded versions etc.), so maybe the theme your using uses multiple instances of an image for different sizes of the image. Just a guess. Also, some themes grab images via the ID. They'll query a page with a POST request for an image via it's ID. E.g. http://example.com/image?id=3 But I doubt that's what's happening here, because an image cannot handle a POST request. Another guess is the theme is using broken URLs, thinking that the link is a webpage when in reality it's an image.
  23. Please stop carrying on like that. Darren and Sebkinne have both commented saying that they are trying to speed things up, so please sit tight. I've ordered a few things from Hak5 before and I, for one, can say their postage time is great. I will admit that the second time they temporarily lost my order because of a "print server issue", though, however they contacted me within 24 hours saying that it's on it's way, and also refunded my postage costs. ? Your order will not go un-posted.
  24. Plug laptop/PC into Pineapple. Bridge Pineapple to a network via WiFi/ethernet (not sure if the Pineapple can join via WiFi - I would assume so as it is a WiFi pentesting tool..)
