  1. VaKo - Damn, you fooled me for a second, Darren's new pic looks real.
  2. Well, never heard of that one but then again I'm on the opposite side of the world so not too suprised there.
  3. Bring it on, I'd love to see Darren, Harrison, and Wess emo as well.
  4. Never was a fan of the metal rock music but I did like Tool years ago (they were in my hometown the evening of 9/11) so they never preformed. Good thing I never got tickets.
  5. yum, dark rum. Ever had Mount Gay Barbados rum, Harrison?
  6. melodic, you're losing your emo/grudge personality. wtf?
  7. *tear* beautiful, absolutly beautiful.
  8. Modification to Hacker's Manifesto anyone?
  9. It's Dr Mark Do you mind if we ask what University you attended?
  10. Up at school I usually work a lot of night shifts, midnight to 4am, or 7am, so I buy a lot of energy drinks or coffee. Starbucks (some think they're evil, I dont) double shots are quiet good, spent a lot of nights at the fron desk cracked out on 4 of those.
  11. Oh my mistake. I thought those were spelled dike not dyke. I'm an idiot.
  12. Seen far too many shitty movies
  13. Wait, I play guitar and an geek....wtf is a dyke? Did I miss that memo?
  14. VaKo may be on to something if the situation were somewhat different. With the simplicity and circumstances of this hack, I don't believe there would be anthing more that degoba could get out of the professor. Also, has anyone considered the fact that because this is a computer forensics class and the EC at stake here is 20%, that obviously there must be something about this these laptops that will create hell for the students in attempting to get in, copy the hash, and decrypt? My only suggestion who be to hack the LAN as booting from linux and trying to copy the has would be quite difficult as you may not have enough space on the disk in the first place. Here are a few articles that may or may not be of some use. I havn't tried any them step by step though as I'm a college student - and I don't want to risk being expelled - and I had enough fun does this stuff back in high school. And these involve hacking the network if I remember correctly, so I'm not responsible for anything you do. Good luck. http://www.informationleak.net/school.txt http://www.totse.com/en/hack/hacking_lans_...hool168941.html
  15. I've never really seen a movie that I thought was scary but the one that comes to mind for being at least being really, really messed up would be House on Haunted Hill.
  16. Eh, I've got a myspace account only because I was super bored on day and decided to make one for the hell of it to give me an excuse to mess with some html. @ Darren, I may have added you last night when I read this thread. Sorry, I had just gotten back from the bar and was too drunk to read your entire post, haha.
  17. I can relate with VaKo on a few levels. I too, have used drugs and alcohol as a way to break my shell and become a more socialable person. I used to smoke pot on the weekends with my friends when I was in 8th and 9th grade and through them I met many more people. I was moving away from my quiet personality and turning into a person whom people liked. I actually had a reason to wake up in the morning. Now, I no longer smoke pot, going on 3 years now since the last time. I quit because it became a habit far too dangerous to keep. (Most of my family are cops). But once I quit that I longed for something else to help me stay the person I was whenever under the influence of something - I was turning back into the quiet kid who never talked to anyone, especially women. It was then that I began drinking whenever I had the chance, and always to a point of absolute drunkenness. I would get a fifth of vodka, rum, wiskey, whatever on friday evening and it would be gone within a few hours. I knew I had a probem but I had friends, and that's all that mattered to me. To this day, I'm still an alcoholic but not as bad as I once was. After a few near death experiences (almost died a few times of alcohol poisoning - never once went to the hospital though. My father would have killed me if he found out) I changed my ways and slowed down my self destructive pattern. Would I do it all again? Yeah, because through these life experiences I found out who my true friends were and although I only have 5 or so, they're all I need. And I'm a fun drunk if you were wondering. I'm the guy who's running around hitting on women, shaking hands with guys I don't know, and buying rounds at the bar.
  18. I only wish they would take a step back and understand that no matter how many people they sue or how much they complain to governments and ISPs, they will never be able to stop people from trading files on the internet. There will always be a way to do so, it is inevitable. Also in the discussion of music pirating, the majority of pop-culture music today are artists who produce shitty music, but that's a whole different discussion.
  19. Panic! At The Disco - The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage Yeah its cheap, I know.
  20. And hell has broken loose. Please post any and all "updates". Haha
  21. Go find an old box that running something like win 9x from a garage sale for dirth cheap (or a school district - they usually have old boxs in a closet somewhere), gut it, and toss them in the case that's to be sold and keep the goods from the other. Shouldn't take that long to do.
  22. That's was something that I was considering. That or Win server 2k3 with remote access but I figured I would ask to see if there were any other ones that I may not know about that are easier to use and better than windows as server 2k3 would be extreme overkill for my purposes. Thanks for the input.
  23. Awesome, thank-you guys for the responses. I'll be sure to look into all of those posibilities.
