Tesco, a the biggest and most powerful supermarket chain in the Uk (dont no if they have them in the US) have said they are going to start a PC price war with other companys. Ive been thinking about this and how it would effect people this is what i think: The main advantage is oviously cheap hardware but then again this could mean low quality crap. The disadvantage is that there would be more n00bs a round and more newbies which is i suppose pretty good for who ever is in the system repair business but could also be very annoying. Also the people that would be selling the PC's wouldnt be as clued up as a specialised store. So what do you guys think?

You could make a sticky with all commanly used questions like: which linux, i want to hack ect. As links to the wiki then have indervidual pages on that. It would mean that the forums were just full of stickys. Just my opinion

Yer same here, i would buy one if the postage wasnt way over the top. Just an idea but you could put a few on ebay.co.uk then people in the uk can buy them with out paying the huge postage cost. Also you could sign them therefore could charge a bit more.

so theres no way i could put some sort of password on it, i no it sounds stupid but i dont want to make a new account on windows cuase i cant be assed to select which user and then type in the password every time the pc starts up.

Hey, My pc is the only descent one in the house therefore sometimes (rarly) my parents use it as well as my bro, because of this there is a lot of email accounts on Thunderbird, mine being one of them unfortuantly my brother can look at these and i dont want him reading some of my private emails. Is there anyway to put passwords on a single email address in thunderbird so that no one can read my mail. Thanks P.s Ive tryed google.
