theres no real way to protect yourself from arp poisioning except for using https, ssl, vpn's. just be smart about what you plug your computer into :P

all you have to do is change the dhcp range on the router and with the address's your not using dhcp just go into properties of the network card/tcp-ip properties and put in the ip, dns, subnet mask, and gateway.

press the reset button, and have it unplugged for a while to set it to defaults probally
