If the cost of living is such a problem why would you want the government to raise taxes and reduce ones existing limited budget? Everyone wants someone else to pay the tax. The economy is a problem but why don't they spend they already have more efficiently, not by abandoning Iraq. Giving the gov. more cash is giving them more power to waste on things like the EPA.

If someone wants to read you blog the theme shouldn't matter as long as the text is readable.

But does that tax really help those in the gutter? France has some of the mos wide spread social welfare programs and one of highest unemployment rates, why work if the Government is going to take care of you. Most of the people I see on the street are there because of drugs and alcohol for which I have no sympathy. A Progressive tax is punishment for making money, historical data shows that the Federal Government receives more tax income because of the lower the rate. Lowering the highest income bracket tax rate from 90% to around 30% where it is now helped our economy generated wealth. That income started businesses and generated jobs for the middle class.

Universal health care is socialist. Government control of private corporations, industries and citizens. Universal health care is just another step in that direction. Furthermore Socialized medicine doesn't work in any of the countries that have it so why should we create another federal institution to waste tax payer dollars. The Federal Government is already full of idiots abusing power why should we give them more.

Obama would be far worse than Bush ever was. (Not because i am racist) but because Obama is a Socialist and black.

I am too anti social do do anything. Facebook's status is basically the same thing and just about a useful. I just don't think any one cares what I am doing so why bother. Social networking only makes since if its being used to do some productive group work or something.

The problem is that things like modchips are used 99% of the time for copyright infringement, not that they should be. So much of hardware is built upon copyright infringement. Not too many people have a 80 gig ipod full of perfectly "legal" music or a 500 gig hdd of 100 % legal content. So much of the technology hardware market is built upon P2P.

If you want to try Ubuntu without partitioning your HDD or burning your Windows install right off the bat. You might be able to use Wubi (http://wubi-installer.org/ ) as a starting point. Or some form of virtual machine to test different distros.

I have a dream that my next computer will be laid upon my lap and installed with many monitors, free of oppression by any Microsoft OS and to live with OC192 pipes to the internet. A raid array so large that it heats my home during the winter but so quiet and cold that one may sleep beside it in a grassy field. It would be a monster among men amputating limbs with the ejecting disks as it struck fear in the hearts of children and noobs. It would be the l33tist of the l33t shouting in all its glory "BOOM Headshot!" proving that it could indeed dance all day while Folding@home. But it is gone before it could exist, as the extreme sugar hi and sleep deprivation wears on ones mind until one can no longer even hallucinate or code, and sleep catches up.
