  1. Yea, used to listen to Techno. Back in the day there were a few pirate stations that used to play it before it went all euro- and mental.
  2. No choice really. At the end of the day if you run a business a lot of it comes down to trust.
  3. Getting caught was silly. He's knows he's fucked anyway, so he's probably going down kamikaze style!
  4. What is there to see and do in V.A?
  5. http://forums.bowsite.com/TF/bgforums/thre...61&forum=18 Personally, this seems just wrong. But then again I'm a bit of a hypocrite because I wouldn't have a problem with hunting (not that I've done it) deer, birds or rabbits for example. meh, yourselves?
  6. Linux users have no sense of humour. 20% of them also worship goats.

  9. loving that tablet thing.. never seen one! But yea, it looks fugly and I would probably have to conjure up Satan herself to get it to work on Linux :)
  10. Thanks guys. The Q45 does look nice, I may spend the extra to get something decent. Depends on how much Guiness I consume between now and the next pay packet. Knowing me though, I will drink like a fish and opt for a cheap 12inch. That last sentence sounds so wrong. ;)
  11. Probably going to buy this: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/144333 next month and stick a *nix on it Just want it for coding and pantsu on the go ;) Any thoughts?
  12. Mashed was really good. Kamaelia was really interesting. Got talking to one of the guys who created it. Really switched on. Imagine a simple unix pipe: ls -l | grep pantsu this command pipes the results of a directory listing into another component, grep. This results in a list of all the files containing the string pantsu. Now imagine doing this with video, http and a webcam. transcode (you can actually pass an mencoder command here!) | stream video to this address | play video. crap explanation, but this is what I saw demonstrated. Check out the site for a more succinct explanation. Also heading to this tonight: http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/790775/ anyone used yahoo's search monkey? http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/790775/ Will report

  16. You guys should look up prolog. It's really quite interesting. Q: How many prolog programmers does it take to change a light bulb? A: No.
  17. Thanks for this guys, i'll check this out tonight after work. Finding hosting services was easy, it's just finding one with ssh access that was the problem. :)
