  1. http://www.wifislax.com/en/ Though my Chrome browser auto translated it for me....
  2. If you are just using it on your network, you can have the turtle do a reverse ssh to your ubuntu box. I'm pretty sure direct ssh is blocked on the turtle's firewall.
  3. Woot! Didn't poop my pants when I got tazed! We did all go pee first though.... Hopefully this dude never does gun safety videos.
  4. Having been on the receiving end of both, I'd rather be tazed any day. We had a student who had a canister of bear repellant in his backpack go off in his locker. I think it got punctured on something, anyway, even from inside the locker it fogged the hallway. Sent 11 students to the hospital for asthma attacks. Luckily for him, he got prior permission for it to be in the locker. It was bear season and was already freezing outside, didn't want to take the chance of it getting messed up in his car. They were going hunting after school.
  5. Electricity, how the hell does it work??!!
  6. Why would they connect to your ap? It's not going to autoconnect to your ap if it has the same name as the deauthed ap.
  7. dev/sdb1 is what you want. 1 is the partition, sdb is the drive.
  8. How's the pineapple connected to the client network? I've found the client mode over wire is flaky.
  9. This is what he's talking about. All of the Hak5 people are good people. They wouldn't knowingly poison anybody.
  10. If it's a Samsung phone you can use a tool called Oden to flash the stock rom back on the phone, this wipes all the memory on the phone, including the bootloader, which is probably where your fbi crapware is now installed. The reason I asked which phone is because most manufacturers have a tool similar to this, but they usually aren't interchangeable.
  11. http://www.no-mans-sky.com/about/ Looks freaking awesome. Hopefully it's not a monthly subscription style game.
  12. http://www.amazon.com/Cocoon-CPG10BK-Grid-It-Organizer-Black/dp/B002HU27UW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1440071587&sr=8-1&keywords=Cocoon US site. I have one of those on the side of my backpack. Holds my small screwdrivers, extra usb cables and lockpicks.
  13. Doesn't work for me either. I can set a static ip address, but it still doesn't route to the internet. DHCP does nothing. @DataHead, this is for wired, not wireless client mode. Wireless client mode works as advertised.
  14. These are pretty slick too. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cocoon-19-1x-26-7cm-Grid-Organizer/dp/B004799SLW/ref=pd_sim_147_53?ie=UTF8&refRID=0V5EPZSS12TSN5NT8HN4
  15. As long as your laptop is recent, it should be good to go. I'd check debian's compatibility charts first.

  17. Just for giggles, try a different computer.
  18. Now if the Gnome guys would just fix the openvpn network manager plugin I'd be totally happy with Kali 2.
  19. You have to be careful with electronics and mineral oil. I've seen the oil degrade capacitors on immersed computer motherboards. The problem with external antennas for an AC access point is it's not just one or two antennas. There's usually 4 to 6 antennas in the box. The AP's I linked to are Ubiquiti access points. Pelican cases are way overkill, just get a normal NMEA box. http://www.fab-corp.com/product.php?productid=16378&cat=278&page=1
  20. I've wanted to try out nethunter, but it won't work on my phone.
