I installed it when it was released. It's just kubuntu made purple, some icon sets and wallpapers. Thought it might go ok for my kids.

Has anyone done any investigatiing into wether or not its safe, or may have some sort of back door, root kit scenario. I mean, how would sourceforge even test for that before allowing it to be posted on the site? Usually things like this are sent in an email to phish people or whatever, but this almost seems like an April fools joke.

It appears just to be a skinned Kubuntu. My friend downloaded it and we tested out the LiveCD on school computers - thank goodness nobody caught us, it would have prompted some awkward questions.

well.. I dunno. Maybe it's like a mattel thing. Get kids interested early, but at the same time, I really don't think little girls should be a target linux audience atm....
