PBS still let's you watch their programs even if you don't donate during their, what seems like weekly, pledge drives. If all you wanted was to donate $100 just to get a stuffed Elmo then it wouldn't be a donation, it'd be a payment for an item. If you donated $100 to the pledge drive and because of it you were given as a gift a stuffed Elmo, obviously NOT worth $100 quid, then it'd be truly a donation. Having said that, ShinmaRyuu it's not a donation. It's a one time charge for a service/product. If you let people join and have a choice to donate the one time charge then it'd truly be a donation arrangement. "Here's the deal" if I went to your door and showed you a brochure. Let's say you really liked it. I tell you that you can have it for free, but you can make a one time donation if you like. You tell me you have no money, I say forget you and leave. That's basically what your doing. ---- So now your probably wondering where I stand, well I don't. I have no use for the program/service and I don't care either way. I hope it works out for you guys at the site. But suggestions should be taken that it should be called a one time charge NOT a donation.

It doesn't actually work... I posted this a LOOOONG time ago. The image of the number goes up but the actual count does not. If you refresh it goes back to what it actually is. Someone posted a link from digg.com explaining why it doesn't work.

What I meant is that it's cheaper to do PGP than to do Vista.

PGP is a current solution for those who don't have the extra money to drop on Vista and everything that comes with it. If your company has money to BURN on TIME, TRAINING, TESTING then it's possibly a good deal because it's built in.

In newsweek they showed all the candidates that are running or might run. Hilary, Obama, Gore... I talked with some older lady here at work and she said that she's never seen these many candidates trying to run for office. He is definitely younger than the rest. But, who knows really. Did you all see the interview on TDS with some writer and about how she didnt feel he was black? But really in the end does it really matter? They'll never ever be able to bring about any real change.

See that's the problem... if they can somehow find a https proxy site, like I did back in school (still using Bess btw) then they can get around it. I told one person and it spread like the plague. Of course our IT guys were dumber than dirt.

So there's often times I wish that my desktop was setup to automatically split windows in half width wise. But I can't seem to find a program that does that. Anyone?

I like his idea's, Psycho's, but the structure just isn't there. It's most likely a really really really rough layout.
