  1. i'm going for a sunday matinee... I really can't wait. I wonder if they'll be a 4 in the series?
  2. Just don't pirate the firewall program too... geesh...
  3. as always the box.sk network http://code.box.sk/ http://neworder.box.sk/
  4. Yeah that worked... You have to find it in two places in the code... Oh and beta 3 works fine.. I just had to wait.. heh I do like the idea of having Station NameArtist Name-SongName.mp3 One thing though is that Proxy access isn't connecting for CDDB or for LAST.FM
  5. What about us asking the questions? How about a AskaNinja.com spoof?
  6. Ahh... well.. You installed a piece of software that has control over your system. It has access to the internet and HAS probably sent it to PGWARE. Its only 25.00usd... just buy it.. oh wait your 14... just uninstall it and run a regcleaner like Regseeker
  7. Do you have a screenshot? I think you should be okay. Since you are all the way in the UK and your 14 you should be fine...
  8. I used to build websites of topics that my friends or enemies liked. They could sign up for "more info" or "latest news". But you'd need a username and password. So I basically farmed their passwords and email addresses. I kinda was on the impression that _most_ use the same password for everything. Also when I was 16 I put a keylogger inside another program and sent it to my X. Set it to send email to me every week. You gotta keep tabs on those girls and their gossip. Suffice to say everyone hated her because of emails _she_ sent out to others. I did get some very interesting blackmail.... ahahahaha... err...
  9. Awesome! Thanks for implementing! I am getting a rip error though. The java cmd windows says "(MP3processor.java:39) - access file not found trying again after 1 sec" the beta 2 version did work though just peachy... wierd...
  10. I got to thinking after using it for a while... Perhaps under the MP3 directory that the app creates to split it into the Station. I have a Heavy Metal Station and a Techno station... confuses the heck out of me... Also to name the file this Artist Name - Name of Song.mp3 Something like below... - MP3 --- Heavy Metal ------ Artist Name -------- Artist Name - Song name.mp3 --- Alternative ------ Artist Name -------- Artist Name - Song name.mp3 --- Techno ------ Artist Name -------- Artist Name - Song name.mp3 It helps when I am searching my collection for songs to know who it's from on the fly. Also helpful is choosing where to store the mp3s...
  11. - If I could be anything I'd be a tear. Born in your eyes, lives on your cheek and dies on your lips. ------------- That's the only one I remember...
  12. Exactly... we ALL need to search with open eyes. Actually back in biblical times they knew who God was and what type of God he was. A loving and caring creator. The problem being is that most of the world's religions and people's distorted the bible to match what they thought. This happened throughout history and still happens till today. There's a reason why Satan's name is translated as slanderer. Through Satan's influence they display god as a tyrant who when he doesn't get his way destroy's abhorent humans. A ruler who is greedy or ignorant to his creation. All of which is wrong, all of which are imperfect human qualities. The opposite rings most true. He tries to help those who choose to listen to him. Today many churches still teach that God takes babies or other humans because he needs angels. Which is completely false. He doesn't need more angels. He has millions of them already. If he needs one do you think it's in his power to create one? Besides a loving God wouldn't take a child from his parents. He doesn't cause grief or heartache as the bible states. He's not the one making these things happen. The scripture in Ecclesiastes brings the point out that "time and unforseen occurences befall us all". It's our own doing or just imperfect life that is the cause of suffering. Humans blame God for bad and praise him for good. How can a perfect tree bear both rotten and good fruit? If I haven't and don't study the bible I would conclude the same thing about God. Looking upon the world's scene it's as corrupt as it comes and is not getting any better. People are killing each other earthwide. Poverty is at an all time high. Food shortages everywhere. The homeless population grows and the rich get richer. People die because they have no money or insurance for a surgery that could save their life. All because of greedy people. But reading the bible and meditating upon it you see how God really is. It takes time to know someone. For instance if you had a long distance relationship with someone, only through letters. Would you get the full import of who they were if you just skimmed or skipped through all the letters? No of course not. Wouldn't you go through them a couple times at least? It's similar to the bible and God. It takes effort and time to learn the truth about him. Sadly many just don't care to do so.
  13. It wasn't my point to get into a debate. The bible explains that we should 'stick up for the truth' but to do so in "mild temper and deep respect." It's one of those things I'm continually trying to put to the fore and yet my bad judgement get's in the way. It's hard to reason on the bible with a person who does not believe that the bible is God's word, inspired by God and written by man. We have no ground to stand on. And it doesn't work when the one who is not a bible student quotes and misapply's scriptures then doesn't accept the answer. Proof is only proof to those that accept it as such. You and I could go around for days, even years, explaining why either side is correct. It's not that faith trumps everything it's stubborness or a failure to be humble and learn that does it. I like to think of myself as someone who searches deeply for truth. Not everyone who believes in the bible believes "every utterance coming forth from their mouths." Many of us strive and search possibly even more or just as much as any scientist/atheist/agnostic for truth and are not swayed by just anything easily. We as humans haven't learned, for the most part, that we have to do certain things even if we perhaps don't like them or understand them fully and are usually for our own good. You brought up the child analogy, well it apply's well and full to all of us. We are all like children who know squat when it comes down to it. Most try to figure out things on their own. Who hasn't known a child that's screwed up many times and then finally asks and accepts and answer and then succeeds? Not to be too simplistic. The problem is that the world's religions confuse and distort the bible and the truth within it. As your probably well aware. It's very sad. The show God as a tyrant, a ruler who's crule or mean, who takes babies and is morally corrupt, etc. All of which is slander brought about by his enemy, ruler of this world and all false religion, Satan the Devil. The one who, as Revelation says, "has blinded the MINDS of the unbelievers." What a sad state of affairs. God is letting us know what we should do through the bible and yet so many lies from the "father of the lie". Like I said it's no wonder people are confused. They know (all of) Satans name(s) better than they know God's real name. Science has done some many and wonderful things. Yet it has not cured death, quenched suffering, stopped wars and crime, helped all races and peoples live together peacefully. It will not and cannot do this. The only way to know what the truth is for certain and who has the truth, while unfortunate and sad for many, is to let time pass. "Soon all will know," the bible says, all nations and peoples 'that I am God.'
  14. This is how it went down... In CMD cd cd pandora (folder i have pandora in) java -jar pandora.jar Opened up http://localhost All loaded fine and I captured one mp3 nicely... 15. I have a problem when I start pandora.jar and then close it then try and run it again I get a continual run loop of C:java -jar pandora.jar
  16. Do you call an apple with a rotten half and a good half a good apple or a bad apple? No it was addressed to the other kid who said the "Old testament wasn't supposed to be followed... and they still are... yadda yadda yadda" So are you saying Christians don't have to follow the Old Testament? As I understand it this is a point of contention among different Christian groups. Maybe you don't think you should follow the Old Testament but there are some Christians who think they should (e.g. Christian Reconstructionists (I think)). I stated the the Old Testament is still valid. That the Old Law Covenant is not. That there is a new Law Covenant. There is a difference between the Old Testament (a book) and the Old Law Covenant (set of laws and regulations for Isreal from God).
  17. See, why the personal attacks? And since when has scrotum been at all offensive? Are medical terms off limits to you? And yes, i know the history of the abrahmic religions, its why I made the point. You have 3 groups of people who *know* they are right, and all of them have book which says kill the unbelivers, and they all come from the same misguided roots. Since when has "dick" become a medical term? Just because you know the history doesn't mean you understand it. I can say I know of something too... Let's see hair can be red. But why? You do also know that the holy book of the muslim faith was based off the hebrew scriptures right? It was M's own interpretation of the scriptures. The bible gives a very good definition of who is and what he is about. If people really took the time to read it they would see he is a loving creator who wants humans to succeed and do good. NOT what most are doing today. Why would god have to create an evolving system when he could come up with what he wanted to begin with? You don't make any sense. Thats just an excuse, it allows us to fail because after all its our nature. Reliying on a very narrow interpretation of god for judgement removes all the effort, just do as your told and all will be good. But I belive we should take charge of our own decisions, and in effect rule ourselves. Unless we strive to become more than we are, we risk being a footnote in history. Humans are amazing creatures, but we're far from perfect. The sooner we realise its up to us to change ourselves, the better. Your right we should take charge of our decisions. God does not make us stumble or do wrong. He does not tempt us. My reasoning is that it just goes to show that throughout history man has never and will never be able to rule themselves. That the only way we can be truly peacable if by being ruled by God. I still don't think you understand the import of my statement. You say and . There's only one way to be better than we are, most of the world hasn't found it or chooses not to follow it or him. You aren't still a child of your parents? Simple fact is your still a child or your parents. You were born from your mother. You might have grown up in thought and physically, but, your still a child to your parents. Your question has no weight. I am sure you've studied the bible completely and meditated fully on everything right? NO? wow... amazing... I am not surprised that you've come to the conclusions you have. Especially growing up with a religion such as the one you've been with at one point. Many people have the same thoughts on God and how the rest of the world feels about them. You say that the people that believe in the bible are wrong, these fundamentalists. Yet you say that you yourself is wrong as well? So don't you wonder where the truth is? It seems to be though that those that don't believe in the bible conclude that everyone that does is a pig stuck in the mud. Someone that doesn't take "real" truth seriously and believes everything that everyone says without proof or actions to prove it wrong or right. I don't do that. I am not that type of person to take lightly my life or my future. I prove to myself what I read and reason, even with science, what I believe. There are many scientists who are Christian. Who can justify both means and not be hypocritical. Science is a nice tool/study/practice but isn't the end-all for mankind. Science cannot end wars, cannot stop greed in turn every other bad act that mankinds permits and does. My intention here wasnt to start a fight. I wasn't even going to quote scriptures. I realize this is a forum. I was just explaining how I feel towards those who are of the same sex orientation. That's all. Not to get in a shouting match between the forumites of morality. ................ I have to say though very good points and thoughts by Korza and Tabath on the children and phsyc.
  18. Have you seen your scrotum? And having seen it, can you still say god does not make mistakes? Thats a clear case of "oh shit, its due tommrow?!" Another big mistake from god's point of view, putting that fracking evil serpent and the tree of knowledge slap bang in the middle of the garden of eden. Unless he wanted us to eat its fruit... And why did god put all his violently monotheastic religions in exactly the same area in the middle east? And why oh why, when designing the human body, did the dick decided to run sewage lines threw a major recreactional area? You can cite a 2000yr old collection of chinese wispers, but it won't put you any closer to the truth. Your right a 2000yr old Chinese collection won't do anyone any good. I am happy to see your using big words like "scrotum" and "dick". I am also happy to see that you think you know what your talking about but have no clue. Good job!
  19. So your defence of this part of the Bible is "it was the done thing at the time"? I'm not exactly sure how that is a defence. Are you saying because it was acceptable then that it's OK to have you your holy book? Would you saying this part of the Bible still applies to modern day life? If not how do you decide which parts of the Old Testament do still apply? Your saying that it wasn't moral to do this while I'm explaining that to these people it was to them. Your the one who brought up the scripture. I am saying that this was Jewish religious law of which Christians aren't obligated to follow like the Jew's of that time did. I still don't understand how you can misapply a scripture and then ask me[/] how it apply's to modern life? It's like saying "why was Jesus hung, wasn't that immoral?" Yes it was, it was still in the bible for a reason. It wasn't there saying that Jewish religious leaders should hang all prophets. Like I said to the other kid I think you have the old Law covenant confused with the old Testament. Saul spared him, but then Samuel chopped him up. The adults may not have listened to God, but what about the babies? They didn't even have a chance to listen to God and they were still slaughtered. Even if it was understandable that they killed all the adults why couldn't they have taken the babies back with them and risen them as Israelites? The point was that they whole nation was bad in the eyes of god. If he wants to he can bring them back. It was his decision to destroy them. As the bible says "Who can check the hand of god?" I realise they don't say anything about sexual preference, I'm just trying to point out that they don't seem to provide a very good moral code to follow. I understand you point of reasoing. I would conclude the same thing I hadn't studied the scriptures, and continue to, thoroughly. Some characters or people of the bible obviously don't follow the correct moral code they should've. The bible show's what happened to those ones. To help us not make the same mistakes. You make a couple of references and conclude that the bible doesn't have a good moral code. What about the hundreds of other references we could find, along with the context and understanding of the scriptures you quoted, that show's it does have a good moral code. But it's like trying to explain to a child why he shouldn't cross the road, because he could be hit by a car. He doesn't know or understand, he has no concept of death, yet. As he gains appreciation for life and living and the impact a hit from a car can do he learns what he should and should not do. Thus making an educated decision based on knowledge. Similarly if we choose to learn and understand we can come to realize a similar things about the bible that we did not know beforehand. But all this takes time and a yearning in the heart to do so. No it was addressed to the other kid who said the "Old testament wasn't supposed to be followed... and they still are... yadda yadda yadda"
  20. So if a man has sex with his wife and hates her he can claim she wasn't a virgin when she married him, then if her father can't prove she was a virgin (with the bloody sheets from when she first had sex with her husband) then she is stoned the death. Also how does this fit into the Bible's morality? Do you even understand why they pelted her or why they disciplined the man? This is something that the Jewish laws/traditions dictated. It is not any different than wrongfull accusation with a death sentence today. It does go to show that man cannot ultimately judge/rule themselves with any laws they themselves create. But it was the best they had at the time without some CSI going on. On the wedding night a cloth or garment was used and then kept or given to the wife’s parents so that the marks of the blood of the girl’s virginity would constitute legal protection for her in the event she was later charged with lack of virginity or of having been a prostitute prior to her marriage. Otherwise, she could be stoned to death for having presented herself in marriage as a spotless virgin and for bringing great reproach on her father’s house. This practice of keeping the cloth has continued among some peoples in the Middle East until recent times. It was a question of sexual morality on both the man and the womans part. If you keep reading in the scriptures it speaks of "god hating a divorcing," etc. So God wants Saul to get revenge on the Amalekites by commiting genocide against them, including killing all infants and babies. Because of their hardened and unreasonable hostility toward God’s people and because they didn't listen to God, the Amalekites came under a permanent ban, like the Philistines and others. Since they worked in opposition to the purposes of the God he called for their extermination. This wasn't a complete genocide at this time, in fact Saul spared their King. Many years later, in 5th century BCE, they were fully killed for trying to kill the Jew Mordecai and his people. If your going to quote scriptures you might want to get your bearings as to what you are actually quoting. These scriptures do not explain anything as to sexual preferences of humankind and why it's morally wrong by god's standards to have same sex relations. Also, if your a student of the bible, should realize that God's decisions are pure of heart, he does not make mistakes, and he is the only one that know's what is in all our hearts. He knew what was in the Amalekites hearts and made a decision based on that. Same thing with Babylon, etc. The information in the Old Testament is still valid and is still used. I think your getting it confused with the old Law convenant. Sure God's followers today are not obligated to the old Law covenant, between God and the Isrealites, but we are under the new Law covenant between God and his followers. God did not have “the law of the Christ†put down in the form of a code, organizing it into various categories, as was done with the old Law covenant. This new law for Christ’s followers does not include an extensive list of dos and dont's. There's much more to be said, but I won't dare go into it on a tech forum.
  21. Careful... With girlfriend v.0.2beta you could wind up with a BSOD on boob or booty reboot.
  22. And even then, it's Old testiment, which also says beating your wife is alright, and owning slaves is the 'in' thing. Your completely wrong. There is nothing in the Old or New testament that condones beating/slapping/hitting/being abusive to your mate. Also you would sell yourself into slavery. Slavery had a different terminology than it has today. Slavery happened if you owed someone something and couldn't pay it back, etc. It was only for 7 years. It was also Jewish religious law. The bible holds to a standard or morality that a lot of mankind holds "dear" though do not follow. Just because a lot of the worlds morality is not built upon the bible doesn't mean that mine can't be. I can hold to a standard that has not changed and will not change, some cannot. The worlds morality is on a steady decline from the inception of mankind (adam and eve screwup). It continues to worsen. It's just the fact that you were born what 16-18 yrs ago and you've come into the world where certain things are "accepted", that you feel it's okay. Some do not. For me, I don't have a problem with someone who's sexual orientation is of the same sex. I don't like what they are doing. But I'm not going to go all gung ho as to why they shouldn't or how it's not something they should be doing according to the bible or through other reasoning points. If they are nice people then fine. If they aren't than fine. While there are those that are of the same sex orientation that do not know of biblical standards and/or choose not to follow them. There are those who profess to be students of the bible and yet are of the same sex orientation. That crosses me. As those who know, the bible strictly forbids it, ie God strictly forbids it. What does annoy me is when there is a feminine (chick or dude) and a masculine (chick or dude). I mean what's the dilio?
  23. So 1998... heh.. Then what about Quake 3 with the Quake 2 map pack or Rocket Arena? I kid... although it was a staple of our lans along with SC:Broodwars and HL:CS.... How about creating some maps for the Hak.5 community?
