  1. still 4 days for the release, I'm dying! greetz from Belgium!
  2. with me it's not running on 5V. The lights work and it seems to start up but then it starts over and over before it is fully loaded... anyway, I hope there will be a travel or elite pack in the pineapple V version so i can get my hands on that :-)
  3. This topic actually helped me a lot! Great great Great is all I can say. Made my first bin file and now I'm over to the hak5 shop to buy my first ducky duck. I'm planning to use it also for a school project. In my last project by the way about wireless security I've been using the Pineapple so hak5 is really helping me to get graduated on a pleasant way:-) Thumbs up !!
  4. Thank you thank you and once again thank you very muck!
  5. Nopes, that wasn't the issue. Got a credit card now so the topic can be closed. haven't bought my ducky yet. I'm still figuring out how it exactly works. Got the payloader in my kali machine yet but i'm still figguring out how to make my own .bin files from a notepad in windows 8 so any help is very welcome here!
  6. Any idea what battery pack is working then and where I could buy such one. The one from the hak5 shop isn't available anymore...
  7. Hmm, My pineapple (alfa AP121) starts up perfectly with the adapter and is working fine. I'm using the latest firmware. I recently bought a verbatim battery pack (Dual USB power pack packs with 10,000mAh battery inside) Works fine for my Iphone and Ipad so I know the battery pack is working fine. When I try to start the pineapple up with it it looks like its going for a startup, the leds start blinging, then the wps button starts blinging (like the normal startup with the adapter) but then it doesn't start up and it looks like its trying to restart over and over again.. Anyone has any idea what the problem could be. http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/verbatim-verbatim-ipad-dual-usb-power-pack-97926-97926/10202708.aspx Greetz
  8. Think you guys. I already knew not to use the voltage pin and i'm not planning to Brick my precious but in case that would happen i want to be prepared with the right tools. Gracias
  9. Hey guys, I just bought a D-SUN USB to TTL adapter with 5 pins. 1:3V3 2:TXD 3:RXD 4:GND 5:5V Will I be able to reflash my pineapple IV with this adapter?
  10. haven't seen a market place here. Maybe a tip with a link for a teensy 2.0 board could also be helpfull (thinking about ebay). Just to make shure i get the right board then. Anything is helpfull, (of course the rubber ducky is my preferred choice) regards
  11. Anyone can sell me a rubber ducky? I am only able to pay with paypal. hopefull regards
  12. any posibility to change the TX power with # iw reg set?
  13. Anyone else experiencing the not-installing mdk3 issue?
  14. Seems like my "problem" is no problem at all then. then. solved!
  15. Nopes, Guess not. The idle is about 95% now, the cpu% it is using is about 4 and the number that "status" reports is between 30 and 40 now. Well, I guess the numbers that should be trusted are the ones I get in puTTY with the "top" command. I don't know what the "status" infusion is reporting there but it shoudn't be a problem I think, althought I'm curious about it I will not let my sleep for it :-) Thanks
  16. Yeah, saw that 3% also. I have deleted some infusions. Its the "status" infusion that indicates the high cpu. So I'm guessing its not a correct value or am i mistaken here CPU CPU Model mips Load Average 94%
  17. hey foxtrot, you mean top in a terminal session on my linux machine (kali)? Don't know if it's possibble on the pineapple but i did on my kali machine and there's nothing that looks like uhttpd. here's the output: top - 02:39:02 up 19 min, 3 users, load average: 0,19, 0,23, 0,23 Tasks: 140 total, 2 running, 138 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie %Cpu(s): 3,2 us, 0,7 sy, 0,0 ni, 85,4 id, 10,5 wa, 0,0 hi, 0,2 si, 0,0 st KiB Mem: 3939972 total, 752900 used, 3187072 free, 37732 buffers KiB Swap: 1321980 total, 0 used, 1321980 free, 346972 cached PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 3275 root 20 0 382m 21m 11m S 5,3 0,5 0:43.89 gnome-terminal 2569 root 20 0 148m 14m 5728 S 2,7 0,4 1:03.95 Xorg 3924 root 20 0 859m 133m 34m S 1,3 3,5 1:02.85 iceweasel 3702 root 20 0 32288 2120 1420 S 0,7 0,1 0:07.37 airodump-ng 206 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,3 0,0 0:00.10 kworker/0:1H 3049 root 20 0 47408 796 444 S 0,3 0,0 0:00.10 udisks-daemon 4084 root 20 0 23232 1708 1204 R 0,3 0,0 0:00.03 top 1 root 20 0 10648 836 696 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.56 init 2 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 kthreadd 3 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.25 ksoftirqd/0 5 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 kworker/0:0H 7 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 kworker/u:0H 8 root rt 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.17 migration/0 9 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 rcu_bh 10 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.51 rcu_sched 11 root rt 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 watchdog/0 12 root rt 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 watchdog/1 13 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.15 ksoftirqd/1 14 root rt 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 migration/1 16 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 kworker/1:0H 17 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 cpuset 18 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 khelper 19 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 kdevtmpfs 20 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 netns 21 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 bdi-default 22 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 kintegrityd 23 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 kblockd 24 root 20 0 0 0 0 R 0,0 0,0 0:01.06 kworker/0:1 25 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 khungtaskd 26 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 kswapd0 27 root 25 5 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 ksmd 28 root 39 19 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 khugepaged 29 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 fsnotify_mark 30 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 crypto 34 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 kthrotld 36 root 0 -20 0 0 0 S 0,0 0,0 0:00.00 deferwq
  18. Hmm, I guess it's when i'm running multiple infusions at the same time. shutting down some of them seems to help.
  19. Thanks a lot guys! I got it working now. Ubercool!! Finally I can use my terminal again :-)
  20. Is this card plug & play or are there drivers that need to be installed on the pineapple? In kali it's running very good but when i connect it to the pineapple I can find it under usb settings but it's not working. any tips?
  21. hey guys, i've noticed that my pineapple running on the 3.0.0 firmware runs a bit slow and always has a high cpu (80 to 100%) as in the example below: Is this normal? I copied as much information in the example so you can check it out: System Current Time Thu Jan 1 01:13:23 UTC 1970 Uptime 1:13 Hostname Pineapple CPU CPU Model mips Load Average 81% 1.54, 0.63, 0.27 Memory Total Available 28.65 MB Free 16% 4.69 MB Used 84% 24.09 MB Swap Total Available 957.24 MB Free 100% 956.05 MB Used 0% 1.19 MB Storage rootfs [/] 30% 228.00 KB/768.00 KB /dev/root [/rom] 100% 5.25 MB/5.25 MB tmpfs [/tmp] 1% 180.00 KB/14.33 MB tmpfs [/dev] 0% 0.00 KB/512.00 KB /dev/mtdblock3 [/overlay] 30% 228.00 KB/768.00 KB overlayfs:/overlay [/] 30% 228.00 KB/768.00 KB /dev/sda1 [/usb] 5% 134.98 MB/2.79 GB
