  4. The way Karma works is by dimpling saying "Yes, I'm your home router" or "Hello, I'm Hotel Wifi!", the client then says "Okay! Lets be buddy's again!". But if your home router or Hotel Wifi needs a password, the client will not connect because a client with an authorised wifi profile (auto connect to Hotel Wifi) cannot connect to an AP with no password. You see the clash? Hopefully should clarify more :) -Foxtrot
  5. Foxtrot

You can easily setup a VPN on Linux, but I forget the name of the package.
  6. Hey xneox! Welcome to the pineapple scene :), to do a normal upgrade, simply download the firmware and rename it to upgrade.bin, then copy the MD5 hash from the downloads section on the wifi pineapple website (http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/index.php?downloads), go to the pineapple upgrade page in the UI (172.16.42.1:1471) and select the upgrade.bin, then underneath paste in the hash you got from the website and read all the warnings and info on the page, then click upgrade! Hope that helps -Foxtrot
  7. Are the clients connecting supposed to be connecting to an encrypted AP, if so, they won't connect to the pineapple. -Foxtrot

  10. Look, The script is not made to run from the WPS Button. It is however made to run from SSH with user input. If you choose to modify the script, then make sure you change ALL of the script to suit your changes. For example, If you want to limit or remove the need for User Input, then replace the variables ($deauthtime) with an integer. -Foxtrot
