  1. Could work, some sites ask you to keep another window/tab open while a download finishes, etc... Maybe a module should be created -Foxtrot EDIT: Has anyone got part or all of the BeEF to run on the Pineapple? Never looked into it..
  2. Dude... Read the change log... Connect with 172.16.42.1:1471 -Foxtrot
  3. The Anker Astro3 has a 9V - 12V switch on the side, however I think you have the Astro3E. If you have only 2 USBs on the front of your battery, its the 3E. -Foxtrot
  4. Like I said. It is not UART. Get a USB to UART, like the one Tyler linked. -Foxtrot
  5. Sounds like your using a standard Serial adapter. Not UART. The Pineapple's serial isn't standard serial, it uses UART, to use UART you need a level shifter. Most people go with the USB TTY UART Board that has the CP2102 chip. -Foxtrot
  6. No... The USB Socket by standard only does 500ma, the cable imposes no limits on the power going down the wire. -Foxtrot
  7. If you are looking for the the USB Type A pinout, then here it is , Of course that is for USB2.0 and USB1.0. -Foxtrot
  8. Issue mkswap /dev/sdb2 (Presuming that sdb2 is the partition you want to be swap.) then set your fstab config to the one in the guide, but changing sda to sdb as Seb said. -Foxtrot
  9. You cannot use ICS on Windows 7 Starter. Micro$haft removed it. Along with the ability to simply change your background. -Foxtrot
  10. I guess it's possible, try another one or (if your as mad as me) construct your own Frankenstein cable :D -Foxtrot
  11. Buy One :D! Lol just kidding, but without one I don't know how to test for intergrity or what not.. Only thing I could think of now is a cable or faulty equipment. -Foxtrot
  12. I'll keep thinking... If you have a multimeter, then check if the cable is shorting and look for decreases in integrity. -Foxtrot
  13. Hmm this is strange. Cannot think of why it would work on mains but not on a fully charged Anker, Only thing I could think of now is a faulty cable or Anker, or maybe a Pineapple (Allthough the latter is probly incorrect, due to it working on Mains.) However, post some more details if you can :) -Foxtrot
  14. If it works on mains then the problem seems to be power. Check the Anker has been fully cycled and then fully charged. -Foxtrot
  15. On the PC write a file or folder to the drive, then insert the drive into the Pineapple and reboot. After reboot cd to /usb/ and see if the file or folder is there. -Foxtrot
  16. I've never had a drive go into read only mode, and seeing as you can still write to the drive and format it, I would say that it isn't in read only mode. One reason for the pineapple not seeing the drive could be that your fstab is configured incorrectly or that your drive is formatted incorrectly. Also look for a /dev/sdb1, /dev/sdb2 etc. -Foxtrot
  17. Hmm... Not sure. Is this on Windows, Mac OS X or Linux?? -Foxtrot
  18. Hmm... Not sure. Is this on Windows, Mac OS X or Linux?? -Foxtrot
  19. It's possible your Fit has gone into Read Only mode. Can you format it or write to it on a computer? -Foxtrot
  20. Thanks. Just made my cable. But I forgot I had no large heatshrink, Electrical tape all the way! Either way it works. -Foxtrot
  21. Hey guys, I was planning to make my own USB to DC cable for the sake of DIY, and just wanted to double check that if i got a standard Type A USB, and the + went to the + on the DC Jack, and the - to the - on the jack, Would everything work okay? Cheers, -Foxtrot
