  2. Around my office they're called "MCSE Paper Monkeys"
  3. its made by the same people who make the videora ipod video converter, the program we use to make the ipod friendly h.264 version of hak5. psp video 9 was suggested to me by jenn cutter from openalpha so i trust it
  4. yet another dude that plays a chick in WoW http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v54/anti...raftgunshot.jpg
  5. Ooh! I'm so getting into this thread when I get home from work. Batch scripting, my kinda stuff. Ok, useless post, consider it a placeholder :)
  6. Oh yeah, totally doing cast interviews, that should be a blast. I'm not sure I could swing the license to put the Computer America interview on the disc, nor should I. You know, best foot forward.
  7. Kaylee from Firefly. Yeah, Jewel Staite is hot but the character Kaylee. zomg.
  8. just something i found among the 60 or do DV tapes while putting together the DVD. The entire segment, or lack there of, is 45 minutes so I chopped it up a ton. It was just too good not to share and hopefully gives you an idea of what to expect on the DVD.
  9. It was 3:30am, we we're uber tired after a 16 hour day of shooting episode 6. We tried to get this segment done. After burning 45 minutes of tape we finally gave up. http://www.hak5.org/temp/WMF_Reel.mov Everyone get on the bus!
  10. And free wifi. Oh how I love that linksys across the street. And across town. And in that other city I sometimes go to. And, well, everywhere. Thank you SSID: Linksys
  11. Oh boy. I don't want script kiddies associated with Hak.5 at all. Looks like I might have to say something on the show next time we're mentioning the forums. Maybe in the future threads like this that are blatant "Send me haxxor tools so I can be leet and not understand wtf I'm doing" should be replied to with a URL, possibly from the wiki or forum, with resources for real, ethical, hacking. Then they should be locked. If the person has a more specific question after that they are free to post it. But you guys arent the only ones getting tired of reading the same old "How do I haxx my school" posts.
  12. I was just hoping someone would get the "nice shoes" pickup line. It's always fun when your in gridlock traffic on the DC beltway, and you pull up to some hot chick in a convertable, and you look over, give her the look, and say "Nice Shoes" If she even gets what it means she'll laugh cause you can't see her shoes.
  13. Shin, I'm so off to ebay to get a G3 ibook now.
  14. What you need is a seperate computer polling the servers at a set interval and generating a page accessible from the Internet. A simple ping will tell you whether the server is online or not. As for services, check out the NET command. A great resource for NT commands is http://www.ss64.com/nt/
  15. Texts used to be the way of the hacker... Non of this IPTV and podcasting crap Yeah, screw those IPTV and podcast things.
  16. I'll second the vote for putting this on the wiki, but I also agree that to some point this thread needs to be here in the hacking section stickied. Great work fellas!
  17. depends on which episode we're talking about. i mean, alli. damnit. vote for me! lol
  18. I've read it before in a text file.
