+ you can download blocked site lists already and add them to your router filter list (ip specific) i spent my time doing this last year to increase the productivity @ my dads work .... worked wonders (fb/twit/yahoo/etc)

apart from the fact its going to be impossible to do ? ... what about all the industries and shops etc that rely on adult content? its a waste of money and also going to fail .... and push these images further underground (which is a bad move imo) we should have a more liberal view like the germans and french .... its only human nature and tbh if you supervise you kids internet access you'll never have a problem .... i have my lounge setup like a gaming cafe whenever my son needs to use the net i can see what he's up to i blame lame irresponsible parenting for the problem not the internet.

lmao hahahahahaha that just made me lol @infiltrator my sites are pretty secure i keep them updated regularly ... most run on wordpress and are housed on external servers and yes lol at the wordpress ... its the best most productive way of producing easily updatable sites and if the clients are slightly tech savy they can manage their own content which saves me loads of time. i started out using html 1.0 and every site was bespoke but its sooo intensive if people want comments/products/backoffice/forum etc etc only if they have loads of money would i ever consider a full blown bespoke site

apache rocks :) you guys should fix up though its all about lampp and xampp :) love these packages http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html the only time i use apache standalone is for my zoneminder install you should check that out too ... http://www.zoneminder.com/ ^^ isnt compatible with lampp tho :( i wish it was (the install is possible but so long winded i cant be bothered an automated install is much easier) (sudo apt-get zoneminder) ;)
