I just started playing ROM, I would say it is better then Wow. Not only is it free, but renting a horse is cool (it sucks trying to run to a location and it takes forever), Daul classes is great, the only thing I dont like is everyone is Elves and Humans. (I am a Human Mage/Priest) but there should be like some cool monster looking characters to play besides human and elf, maybe orks or something. (Hard to tell who is the bad guy unless I see them and they have a red thing under their name) I dont trust to run Ventrillo yet, some random guild recruited me and asked if I use it and no way until I know for sure it wont comprimise my pc while playing. Like say can they get my IP via Vent and hack my Rom account? I dunno but the guild has a funny name and I dont trust it yet lol are Rom accounts easy to hack? I like the idea of a on screen mouse keyboard to protect from keyloggers. Rom can be ran under Linux (via Wine)? that is news to me because the game rocks.. as soon as my free Win 7 runs out and I switch back to Ubuntu I will remember this so I have a fun "free" MMORPG to play, but yeah Rom is way better then Wow IMO

Why buy an amazon kindle when you can just buy an old tablet laptop pc and turn it into a e-book reader? plus ebooks would be free and in full color.. i was looking at the kindles and they are like 300$ or so? for the same price why not just buy an old tablet pc and you can download unlimited ebooks, put in windows xp with minimum specs for reading and have alot more powerful e-reader? I seen this in popular science magazine, maybe Hak5 can make a video on this :) the amazon kindle costs money for every ebook and is only grey scale, no color, not to mention all the other cool things the tablet can do like draw on it, internet, ect..

Ok, so I am thinking just get a Fluke, instead of killing a bunch of cheap ones easily. What would happen if i stuck the testing cord into the electric socket of my house? Would a fluke be able to measure the power, would it crap out, or would I get a loud shock? I am guessing it depends on what model fluke it is? I have 19 different kind of bump keys but cant seem to get it to work, allthough i picked a 6 pin lock with a regular S shaped lockpick, i tried to bumpkey a scheldge lock tried for along time and even had a locksmith show me how it was done, that is a whole 'nother topic though

Yeah that would be nice to fix one pc, but I am saying what is good tools to fix alot of PC's, something a pc tech should always have. Something like needle nose plyers, built in with a phillips head screwdriver, general wire strippers for cat cables, knife, beer opener, ect.. the best one in all tool for a pc tech. Some all purpose tool to fit in your pocket that does everything a A+ or Net+ certified pc tech would need all in one. I seen one once but didnt have the cash to get it, so I was hopeing someone else has heard of this.. the multimeter is a different story

Perfect, so if i want to know if my power supply unit on my box is dead I can use a multimeter for that and not end up getting shocked or something for using a 12$ ebay multimeter? and it should last atleast 3 months probuly for a cheap made one like that? edit; I have an older box and suspect eaither the PSU or video card is bad and am not sure yet, plus it would be nice to use them for other stuff like my car or electrical socket or I dunno whatever.. i have not used one yet

I know this is not computer related but could I also use a multimeter to measure the amps and volts for my amp and subs in the trunk of my car which go BOOM? This way i am guessing i could see how many watts are hittin the speakers and how many volts are going threw from my car battery to amp, ect..? or is that too much for a pc multimeter?

Hello Manuel, This is the questions forum, so I was stating my question, next time I will put "How do I" in front of whatever is appropriate. I am not asking how to hack my space, just asking how to view private profiles without having to phish information or make a whole new myspace to be friends to look at a picture or two to make sure it is the person I think it is. I have tried viewing the source code and turning off style sheets and all kinds of stuff allready. Ok, I was reading about multimeters at school that meaure ohms, volts, all kinds of stuff that pc technicians use to fix computers or determine what is wrong with them. Can someone suggest a good/affordable multimeter? or are they all pretty much they same? I found one for like 12$ that had a lcd and measured tons of stuff just dont know safe they are, like will a cheap one measure the volts from my car battery or will it blow up or something? also, I seen a tool online a while back i forgot that fits in your pocket and has multiple applications for pc technicians like a swiss army knife of sorts for computer people.. does anyone have any idea what im talking about? Hello, I am very curious to see if this is a person I know, I am not asking how to hack their myspace or get password or deface it or anything lame like that, I just want to view their photos they have posted on myspace to make sure it is the same person, but they marked their profile as private. I could make a profile on their and ask to be friends but will probuly get denied. I have googled it and all the methods like copy and pasting to change the link with the user id and such do not work anymore. I am thinking maybe it goes threw another link to determine if they are friends to view it or something? do you think it would work if i used http live header viewer to see what happens from the time i am in myspace to the time i click on their space or what? I have no idea how to do it so any help would be appriciated or even just things for me to google on to learn how with their new system, this is very important to me. Thanks
