First the routing question.. I have 2 routers, one which is half router and half cable modem provided by my ISP and one router which i use for my room to multi network to my xbox 360, pc, laptop, ect.. the one my ISP gave me starts with 192.168.1.1 and the belkin I have starts with 192.168.2.1 which ussually made it easy to set up because it did not conflict with my netgear router which also had a default of 192.168.1.1, how do you set them both up together if they have the same default ip? and also the belkin which started with the 192.168.2.1 instead of the 1.1 recently after the reset, now some pc's are showing that as the ip or connection when i do an ipconfig, and they are not even wired to that router.. and when i do a ipconfig /release or ipconfig /renew it said I do not have the priviledges to do that in Cmd. Does Vista require some kind of super user command first like Ubuntu? like Sudo Ipconfig /release? any help would be appriciated this is a mess.. 2nd question reguarding programming.. In early math i was taught the sign < or > was like a pacman and pointed in the direction that went to the highest amount.. in programming is it different and set so > permenantly means greater then or < means perm lesser then? My text book makes it look like > is always greater then and < is always less then, or do most programming languages use the same logic i was taught in 4th grade and the pacman guy (< alwways eats the larger number or value? thanks

Right now there is only a private option for healthcare, healthcare is a important thing to me, to my future kids, and to everyone else in my country. Ok I have seen linux clusters but not windows.. please help me understand this.. So if i have 3 PC's that are all 4GB ram 100GB HD,ect.. with linux cluster it would be the same as running a computer that had 12GB ram 300GB ram , ect.. every thing times 3, so it would be like a super computer. If i set a cluster up like that is it crazy to have other terminals in the area for people to use? Im guessing a Windows cluster will not work like this? it is more of a network and each PC holds it own unless controlled by a windows server? Persay I can not make a super computer useing windows and 3 pretty new pc's? meaning i cant make all 3 pc's act as one computer like transformers or something?

People have this all mixed up, and use the word "Socialism" to down the president. Is it socialism to have the community to pay for a Fire dept to prevent fire? or a post office? The government did a great job on both, why wouldnt they with healthcare. Obama is probuly one of the most intelligent presidents we had in the last 20 years or so. Its the rich people that are so scared because they may get taxed more. When in reality its the poor people that are taxed all the time not the rich, how many millionaires you know that pay 16% interest on they car. Its time for the rich to give up some of that money or some people may just take it by force. I have heard about a backdoor in windows for many years since i forget what version. I am 99% sure there is one that government and MS and whoever can goto whenever they want. I think them supporting open source is a good idea.

Thanks Vako, I was just looking at TechNet and Msdn they look like great resources for a student. (even though software is only valid for 90 days or so) As for the net users, how do I specify a machine and credentials for that machine? I just want to be able to send net pop up msg's to people on my network. :) for example .. send my sister a pop up message on her screen that says "Let the dogs out" or something without having to walk over to her room, knock on the door and bother her, or send a net msg to my moms pc asking a question , and she can send a net msg back without having to install any type of messenger system and do it off the local network via CMD Msg or net send command. I guess my question is how to get it to where i type in "net users" in CMD it has all of our accounts on there, im guessing I have to install a Windows server to do this correct? or would a group or all Windows XP Pro pc's be able to do this without a server, with a correct configuration? any information helps, thanks

Because I hear the TOR is not completely anonymous and can be used as an exit node, and that Socks 5 proxys are alot better and can also be used for Irc, incase I dont want everyone seeing what city im from for example some hostname like whatever@atlanta.roadrunner.com, ect.. is there a proxy more anonymous then socks 5? or is that considered "elite"

Ok I figured out the remote desktop problem. The PC with the Vista home premium on it can only get rdp controlled if it accept a invitation since it is the home edition. They have to goto start > maintenance > windows remote assitance, then create some kind of file with a password they email or send to me somehow, then I have to get that file enter PW and then wait for them to accept the invite from my machine.. (just incase anyone else wondered or cared about how to fix that or the outcome), The PC with Win XP pro works great connected rdp from win 7, im guessing they have to all be business edition or higher win OS to do the RDP without the invite bullcr@p Still though with all users online in my home network / workgroup when I goto CMD and type Net users, I dont see them, do I need to type their PC name first then user like \\pcnumber2\\user2 or IP to do a net send message? Do i have to goto each PC and run Net start first so all users are visable to send a net send msg to? (Win 7 I guess it is just "Msg" instead of "Net send theMessage" ) thanks guys im learning alot about windows home networking and RDP

Are you from Canada? From what I hear they are doing very well, and their healthcare system is more effective then ours in the US. I Would like to hear from people in Canada about what they think of their healthcare system compared to the US's. From what I hear Canada is a great place with good healthcare and education, and people dont even feel the need to lock their doors becasue crime is so low (in most areas). Lets hear from some Canadians on this issue. btw; I hear India & some European countries offer free medical and college even as well. It seems US is the ones that are behind on all this. Why does our prescriptions cost 10x more then every other country? Our healthcare system is full of greedy bastards that only care about money and not peoples health. We need to get Americans healthy physically and mentally, then educated :) (not saying their are not educated Americans, just the ratio of educated to non educated)

Why dont Americans make their own language called American, and why are we still using english? People get to uptight on grammer and puncuation sometimes.. if you can understand what they are saying thats the main thing. I guess the better they speak the language makes them more valuable, thats with any language that someone has mastered and can teach

Like I said before, I used to always watch presidential speeches at school (some were manditory), also NASA launches, all kinds of major events. The only reason it is an issue is because it is President Obama. If it was any other president before him no one would care, and probuly encourage their kids to watch it. Most kids (like me) always thought the presidential speeches were boring though, now kids actully care about what he's saying and those hard core republican assholes are getting angry. It's great that kids are starting to care about what our president is doing now, and wanting to learn more about politics. Maybe more of them will register to vote when they hit 18.

Maybe some of you have heard about this allready, I just read about it in the newest issue of popular science magazine. The Massachusetts institute of Technology has like 1900 courses online, with the syllabus, assignments, downloadable e-books for the course, some have videos of lectures, labd and projects, all kinds of cool stuff. The downside is it is just for learning you will not get college credits for it. The upside is its just like a real online college course. Im taking one now at a community college (For credits) and just started taking a Class at MIT online to learn how to program in Python. This is an awesome thing for MIT to do for the community and even world, alot of people overseas are learning and taking classes there. Minimum wage should be 10$ an hour at the minimum.. 12$ at the max, has anyone ever watch the 30 days episode with the guy who ate mcdonalds for 30 days? One episode he lived one minimum wage (not only by himself also with his girlfriend) so double the money, imagine being single it is immpossible to live independant on minimum wage now. Employees need to be treated with more respect, paid more and should be offered some ind of health and dental insurance. I know people who get paid more from not working off unemployment then for working.. so what is the point , why do they want to get a job when they are getting paid more doing nothing then working minimum wage 40 hours a week? the companys need to offer more incentive to work. Watch that 30 days episode though where he works and lives like a minimum wage labor worker with no insurance. Canada seems to have a very nice public healthcare system that works. Maybe thats one positive working Idea we can borrow from them. Do you have any idea how hard it is to work for 8$ an hour 7.25 is minimim wage, worrying if you can even get 30 to 40 hours that weeks, no health insurance, trying to support a family, having a tooth that hurts every hour of everyday but cant be fixed because it costs 800$ for a root canal then 600$ for a bridge for that tooth, plus other random charges.. or just decide to live uncompertable with a very strong pain in your tooth forever until you can afford around 1500$ or so to get a tooth fixed? In Cuba they fix teeth all day for cheap, may not be the best work, but that public healthcare.. If you want Hi-quality healthcare then you pay more. Another major thing is minimum wage should be 10$ an hour not 7 something. No single person can survive on that amount of money. I am going to set my box to Tivo record this.. I have strongly beleived Americans need better health and dental since forever, ok if your rich you can get the harvard grads to fix you up, but hey it will create tons of jobs, everyone i know needs to get a health check up probuly because they dont have insurance. Also they should give out some free shots to prevent the swine flu at colleges / and schools

I guess I have alot more reading to do then. Im trying to stay with Windows right now because no one else in my house knows how to use Linux besides me, and I am no where near a linux expert. Plus most business here use Windows networks, so it makes more sen$e for me to learn windows networking first since it is prob easier also and more biz use it. Vako is on target with what i want to do i think so far, "Active Domains" I remember some of that stuff from a couple years ago in a windows admin class when we set up client and server machines.. so the problem is probuly that I dont have a PC set up with a windows server OS to administrate user permissions to the client PC's.. I have 3 pc's on the network, so My PC should be setup as a server and set the other 2 as the clients? then setup users, ect..? So If i have a Windows 7 Ultimate, Win Vista home primiem, and Win xp home, they can not all link together as a network, where we can all net send or msg each other?? thanks for any help
